Opal whipped out her phone and started snapping pics of Anna. "I'm exposing you, you shameless homewrecker. Everyone, check this out! She snuck into my fiancé's bed, this shameless woman."
Colin didn't have time to stop Opal. Anna was completely blindsided, not expecting such a dramatic scene first thing in the morning.
Anna shot a furious look at Colin, knowing she was in deep trouble.
Colin didn't want to drag Anna into this mess. He grabbed Opal's arm and said firmly, "If you have something to say, say it to me. Leave her out of this."
Seeing Colin still defending Anna made Opal even angrier.
Colin immediately demanded, "Give me the phone."
Opal quickly stuffed the phone into her chest, leaving Colin helpless to retrieve it.
Opal puffed out her chest and taunted Colin, "If you have the guts, come and get it."
Colin's face turned livid with anger. Anna felt utterly speechless; being caught by Colin's fiancée in his bed early in the morning, she couldn't explain it, even if nothing had happened.
Anna realized she shouldn't stick around any longer. She shot Colin another fierce glare.
Colin's guilt was written all over his face, but this wasn't the time to discuss it. Anna just wanted to leave this mess to Colin. She didn't want to get involved in their drama.
Anna grabbed her clothes and started getting dressed. She suddenly paused, remembering that she had gone to bed in her own clothes. Why was she now wearing Colin's shirt?

When Bella answered Anna's call, she heard Anna panting and running, saying, "Bella, wake up! Something terrible has happened."
Bella instantly woke up. "What happened?"
Anna recounted everything that happened last night and this morning to Bella.
After hearing it, Bella, despite her own pain, sat up immediately. "What? Anna, how could you be so careless? Colin might not think things through, but you should!"
Bella was angry at both Anna and Colin. She said, "What do we do now? If this gets exposed, it won't be good for you."
Anna knew this too. She sighed, "I might end up trending on the news. But Colin and I really didn't do anything. This is so unfair."
Bella tried to comfort her, "Alright, let's stay calm and see how things play out. Maybe Colin can contain the news."
Bella then arranged to meet Anna. After hanging up, she immediately filled Sterling in on the situation.
Sterling thought for a moment and said, "I'll have the company's PR team on standby. Colin really dropped the ball on this one. Don't worry, I'll make sure the PR team is ready to minimize the impact."
Neither Bella nor Anna expected that within just half a day, Anna would be trending for all the wrong reasons.
The news exposed Anna's background, painting her as a fallen aristocrat willing to be a homewrecker for survival, which quickly went viral.
Anna was nearly driven to depression by the insults. She had planned to meet Bella, but now she was trapped at home by reporters and troublemakers downstairs.

Anna, frustrated, scratched her head and said, "Mom, can you stop? It's not like what the news says."
Qiana, hands on her hips, fumed, "Reporters are camped outside. What will the neighbors think? Have you no shame?"
Qiana said all sorts of hurtful things to Anna. Anna thought, 'Whatever, let it be. I have nothing left. With things like this, I probably can't work at Colin's company anymore.'

Bella asked over the phone, "Has Colin called you?"
Anna remembered Colin's call, which sounded both comforting and apologetic. His hesitant tone left her puzzled.
