Chapter 404 Passionate Kiss

Anna decided to keep in touch but also give each other some space, hoping it would help their relationship grow healthier and last longer.

She secretly planned to manage how often and in what way she met with Colin. She wanted him to feel her care and attention but also keep a bit of distance to keep their love fresh and exciting.

But Colin wasn't buying it. Almost as soon as Anna finished talking, he grabbed his car keys and bolted out the door, speeding all the way to her apartment.

He impatiently dialed her number: "Anna, I'm downstairs. If you don't come down, I'm coming up. No excuses. I want to know what's going on. We were fine when you got back, so why don't you want to see me now? Come down, let's talk face-to-face!"

Anna felt a bit flustered when she got the call. She hadn't expected Colin to show up at her place, nor had she anticipated his firm demand to meet.

Standing by the window, she looked at the blurry scene below, surprised by Colin's strong reaction. She hadn't thought her little game of playing hard to get would make him so agitated. She said apologetically, "Are you really downstairs? I really can't come down right now."

"Can't come down?" Colin's doubts and unease were instantly magnified by her words. Countless scenarios flashed through his mind, and he urgently asked, "You don't have a guy at your place, do you? Did your mom set you up on a date again? Wait, I'm coming up!"

Anna quickly tried to stop him, "No! Colin, don't be impulsive. There's really no one else here, and my mom didn't set me up. Wait, I'm coming down."

After hanging up, Anna quickly changed her clothes and rushed out the door. Her mother, Qiana, asked where she was going, and she vaguely replied that she was meeting a friend and would be back soon. In her heart, she was thinking that this "friend" was really making her feel both love and helplessness.

Downstairs, she almost ran to Colin's car, slightly out of breath, and said, "What's the matter with you? Acting like a child, getting all worked up. Didn't I say it wasn't convenient? There's no guy at my place!" Her tone carried a mix of teasing and helplessness.

Colin, with a stern face, opened the passenger door and said firmly, "Get in." Although Anna felt a bit annoyed, she obediently got into the car.

Before she could settle in, Colin hit the gas, speeding off so fast that she instinctively grabbed the seat, exclaiming, "What's wrong with you?" Her voice was filled with panic and confusion.

"Why won't you see me?" Colin's voice was deep and powerful, clearly showing his anger. As a seasoned player in love, he had keenly sensed Anna's constant excuses to avoid meeting, which made him worry about their relationship.

Anna nervously avoided his gaze, knowing she couldn't reveal her true intention of keeping him at a distance to maintain freshness. She stammered, "I told you already, why are you asking again? It's really... really nothing..."

But Colin wasn't easily convinced. He stared into her eyes, searching for any sign of deception. Anna did her best to stay calm, keeping her emotions in check.

Soon, they arrived at the Whitewater Bay villa area. Anna looked at the familiar scenery outside the window, feeling a bit tense. She saw Colin's face still clouded with anger and cautiously asked, "Why are we here? Can't we talk in the car? It's late, I need to go back."

Colin turned to her, his gaze deep and somewhat surprised by her decision, "Are you sure you want to talk in the car?"

Anna nodded firmly, trying to lighten the mood with a casual tone, "Yeah, we can talk in the car. You wanted to meet, and now we have. I just got back, give me a few days. Once I talk to my mom about us, we'll naturally have more time to meet. Two days without seeing each other won't kill us."

But Colin wasn't having it. He pulled her into his arms, his passionate gaze locking onto her, as if he wanted to merge her into his body. Then, he lowered his head and kissed her deeply and fervently.

"I will die!" Colin whispered between kisses, his voice filled with determination and resolve. He held Anna tightly, as if he wanted to fuse her into his bones, expressing his deep affection and reluctance to let her go.

Anna was momentarily lost in Colin's kiss, forgetting her previous tension and unease, fully immersing herself in the passionate kiss. She wrapped her arms tightly around Colin's neck, responding to his kiss, pouring all her love into it.

After a while, Anna suddenly widened her eyes, feeling panicked. She realized they were in a public place, and although there was no one around, someone could pass by at any moment. She frantically patted Colin's back, her voice filled with panic and embarrassment, "Let go! Someone might see us!"

Colin pulled back slightly, a playful smile on his lips, "Didn't you say you wanted to talk in the car? You chose this, and now it's too late to regret. My place is right there. Do you want to go inside or stay in the car? I'll give you one more chance to choose."

Anna looked at Colin's determined eyes, knowing she had no way out. She had initially wanted to keep their relationship fresh by playing hard to get, but Colin's assertiveness had rendered those tactics ineffective.

She sighed helplessly and said softly, "Fine, I'll go to your place. But you have to promise not to do anything crazy."

Colin smiled and nodded, a sly glint in his eyes, "Don't worry, I'll treat you well. Come on, don't dawdle."

As soon as they entered, Colin pressed Anna against the wall with a fluid motion, his actions carrying an irresistible force. Anna tried to struggle, but he quickly lifted her by the waist, making her cling to him. She had no choice but to wrap her arms tightly around his neck, which only made it easier for him to achieve his goal.

In the darkness, Colin seemed to know the layout of his home perfectly. He kissed her passionately all the way, carrying Anna into the bedroom.
