Chapter 192 Bella's Warning

Mira looked hurt, with a hint of genuine remorse. She wiped her tears and said, "I know everything I do now disgusts you and makes you think I have ulterior motives, but, Bella, everything I'm doing now is really to make it up to you, nothing else."

Bella said expressionlessly, "I don't need any of this from you. As the mistress of the Windsor family, what don't I have? I don't need your charity."

Mira felt a pang of bitterness and didn't know how to talk to Bella. She knew that the mother-daughter bond between them was long gone, and she no longer hoped for Bella's forgiveness.

But she still wanted to make it up to Bella, even if it was just materially.

"I know you lack nothing, but the Windsor family will always be the Windsor family. What I give you is your confidence, Bella. This is not charity; it's my way of making amends and my guilt."

Bella looked at Mira and laughed in anger, "Are you here to teach me a lesson? Mira, my confidence has always been Sterling. I don't need you to tell me that. He is the only family I have."

Bella could see the guilt in Mira's eyes and face, but she no longer cared.

"Late affection is cheap, you know? So is late familial love. When I needed you before, you weren't there. Now I don't need you anymore. I don't care about your money at all. Take it away; don't dirty my sight."

After saying this, Bella stood up and walked out of the café.

Mira watched Bella leave, tears of sorrow streaming down her face. She knew there was no turning back now, and Bella would never forgive her.

But it didn't matter; there was still a long time ahead. She could slowly seek Bella's forgiveness and gradually make up for the past hurts.

As soon as Bella walked out of the café, she felt a cold sweat break out. She laughed at herself, realizing she wasn't as invincible as she thought. Mira could still affect her.

Perhaps because she was just provoked by Mira, Bella immediately went to find Debra.

When Bella arrived at the Foster Villa, Debra was still asleep upstairs. This time, she didn't bring any bodyguards, and Dash happened to be out.

But that was just fine. Bella repeated her old trick, fetched a basin of water from the bathroom, kicked open Debra's room door, and splashed the water on Debra.

Debra, who had been scared by Sterling at the Vienna Mansion last time, hadn't slept well for days. Now, being splashed with cold water, she jumped up in fright.

Seeing Bella's face, she seemed terrified and fell back onto the bed.

Bella took a step forward, glaring at Debra, "Debra, it was you, wasn't it? At the Vienna Mansion, you put me in James' bed, didn't you?"

Debra, disheveled and frantic, screamed, "Bella, you're asking for it! Someone, get this lunatic out of here! I'm calling the police! I'm calling the police!"

Debra was so agitated she was incoherent, but Bella seemed not to notice Debra's crazed state.

She said coldly, "I warned you last time not to mess with me again. Did you think putting me in James' bed would get you what you wanted?"

Bella raised her hand to hit Debra, but Debra grabbed her arm in return.

Debra seemed to calm down and sneered, "You, a pitiful creature picked up by Sterling, do you think you can be with Sterling without James? Don't forget you were involved with his good friend Micah. Do you think he still likes you?"

Bella watched Debra laugh maniacally, her eyes turning cold. She asked sternly, "How do you know?"

Bella remembered that Sterling should have kept her affair with Micah under wraps. How did Debra know?

Debra sneered, "You want no one to know unless you don't do it. Who knows what dirty, shameful things you did with Micah? What, James wasn't exciting enough, so you had to seduce Sterling's friend for a thrill, right?"

Hearing this, Bella was furious, "Debra, you have such a filthy mind that you think everyone else is like you. It's pathetic."

Debra, of course, wouldn't let Bella off. Her eyes suddenly turned vicious, "Who gave you the guts to come looking for me?"

Debra grabbed Bella's hand and raised her hand to hit Bella, but Bella grabbed her arm in return and said, "Debra, do you think I would dare come alone to find you without a reason?"

After saying this, Bella slapped Debra across the face. Debra screamed in rage, "Bella, you bitch, how dare you hit me!"

Bella looked down at her, "I told you, if you dare mess with me again, be prepared to be taught a lesson."

Debra, clutching her face, screamed in fury, "Mom's things are all mine. You can't have any of it. Even if she gives it to you, so what? Her things are all mine."

Bella didn't expect Debra to bring up Mira again. She didn't care about Mira's money at all.

But seeing Debra's crazed expression, she felt a sense of satisfaction.

Bella said slowly, "So what? If Mira gives it to me, it's mine. Mira's things are hers to give to whoever she wants."

Debra seemed taken aback by Bella's words. She paused for two seconds before erupting in anger.

"Bella, you actually want Mom's things. You're so hypocritical. You keep saying Mom is disgusting, but you're still thinking about her property. How are you any better than me?"

Bella sneered, "Debra, I came today to warn you. This is your last time framing me. You will pay for what you've done."

Bella had actually come to confirm if Debra was behind it and to issue a warning. As for how to deal with her, she hadn't decided yet.

But she knew that Debra, this venomous snake, had to be eliminated as soon as possible.

However, Bella didn't know that before she could act, Sterling had already made his move.

At the Foster Group.

Dash's assistant hurriedly knocked on his office door, "Mr. Foster, Mr. Windsor suddenly withdrew his investment. Now the entire funding chain is broken, and the court is coming to do an asset liquidation. What should we do?"

Dash was stunned, "What? Why did he withdraw his investment?"

The assistant was also puzzled. He had just received a call saying the court was coming to do an asset liquidation. He immediately called Sterling's secretary, but the call was blocked.

Dash, sweating profusely, drove home to find Debra. Debra was also panicked when she heard the news.

"Sterling withdrew his investment? No, that's impossible." Debra couldn't accept the reality.
