Chapter 447 Colin Confesses
There was a hint of defensiveness and helplessness in Anna's tone, clearly trying to avoid this awkward memory.
However, Colin remained unmoved. He raised his eyebrows slightly, a trace of amusement in his eyes: "Drunk words are sober thoughts. That's what I believe."
Anna was left speechless by his words. She could only lower her head silently. She didn't know how to face Colin's insistence and trust, let alone how to face the struggle and conflict in her own heart.

Colin's eyes were filled with determination and tenderness. He didn't need her to plan his life for him. He just needed her to be herself and stay by his side. He smiled gently and continued:
"Actually, you're not completely useless. At least you make me happy and make me want to get married. That's something no one else can do. Only you can give me this feeling. Do you understand? Anna, you're the most important person in my life. I hope you can value yourself and not feel inferior around me. I won't allow it. You're my little sunshine. How could you not be good enough for me? Do you know why I didn't dare confess my feelings to you before?"
Anna just kept crying as she looked at him. In this moment, she seemed to have lost her voice. Colin sighed helplessly and pulled out a tissue to wipe away her tears.
"Stop crying. It breaks my heart to see you cry." Colin sighed and waited until her emotions settled a bit before continuing.
"Before, I tricked you into going to Whitewater Bay several times, found excuses to share a bed with you several times, but I never dared confess my feelings. Because you said you were an innocent girl, and in that moment, I felt I wasn't good enough for you. I was so terrible and unfaithful. I felt you were like the bright moon in the sky. How could I be worthy of you?"
"Later, I thought I'd confess after Caleb's situation was over, but I backed out again. I kept waiting, hoping the moon would fall into my arms on its own. Finally, I got my wish, but then I started hating myself for not protecting you. Anna, it was never about you not being good enough for me. It's me who's not good enough for you. Before, you were what I desired but couldn't have. Now you're mine, and it has to be you. Do you understand?"
At this point, Colin suddenly laughed self-mockingly: "I thought I'd never say these things in my life because it's not my style—too sentimental. But this time when you mentioned breaking up, you really scared me. Those reasons you gave don't hold up at all for me, so please don't say such silly things anymore, okay? You're the one I desire but can't have."
Listening to Colin's words, Anna's heart surged with waves of emotion—shock, joy, all kinds of feelings mixed together. She had never imagined she was so important in his heart. She looked up at him with tear-filled eyes, her voice choked: "I... I thought... I thought you would look down on me, would leave me..."
Tears dripped into her bowl, and the decision she had struggled to make was gradually broken down by his words.

Colin looked at her anxious expression, a mysterious smile playing at the corner of his mouth: "I had Sterling pick her up. She's probably still at the hotel right now."
Anna's brain took a moment to process this. She was stunned for a few seconds before asking doubtfully: "Bella would go with him?"
Colin patted her shoulder gently, comforting her: "Don't worry, Sterling will take good care of her. He won't do anything inappropriate. You don't need to worry."
Although Colin's words put Anna somewhat at ease, she still couldn't help worrying. She knew that Bella really couldn't stand Sterling right now.
Colin shrugged, a relaxed smile on his lips: "Don't call her. Maybe Bella isn't even awake yet. After all, you kept her up until past 3 AM last night. She must be exhausted."
Hearing Colin's words, Anna's face flushed slightly. She had indeed been pretty drunk last night.
But she quickly changed the subject, not wanting the atmosphere to become awkward: "You're right. They should both be awake by now, right? Do we have any plans? We can't just stay home all day, can we?"
Colin smiled slightly, a hint of mischief flashing in his eyes: "I was just about to mention it. I saw a new water park opened nearby. It's pretty big with good facilities. Although this city isn't by the sea, a water park should be fun enough. It's so hot—going in the water to cool off, what do you think?"
Food and fun had always been irresistible to Anna. Having just gone through the ups and downs of breaking up and getting back together, she really needed to go out and have fun, relax, and shake off all that gloom.
