Chapter 452 Together with You
Just as Bella was lost in her thoughts, three women in revealing outfits and heavy makeup walked toward Sterling. Their eyes were full of flirtation and anticipation, clearly with ulterior motives. One of them spoke in a coy voice, "Hey there, want to get to know each other?"
Sterling didn't immediately look at them. Instead, he glanced sideways at Bella in the distance. He noticed she was sitting there quietly, seemingly unaware of what was happening here, and an inexplicable emotion welled up inside him. His eyes darkened as if he was thinking about something.
After a moment, Sterling finally spoke, his voice low and firm, "You should ask my woman if she's okay with that first."
These words were like a stone thrown into a calm lake, instantly creating ripples.
The beach chairs weren't that far apart, but not exactly close either. Yet Sterling's clear words reached Bella as if he were right next to her. She jolted in surprise and nearly fell off her comfortable beach chair, her face instantly turning red.
The three heavily made-up women clearly doubted Sterling's words. They looked around and didn't see any other woman near him. One of them raised an eyebrow and asked: "Your girlfriend? Where is she?"
Sterling casually tilted his chin toward Bella's direction, a faint smile playing on his lips. Then he put on his sunglasses and lay back leisurely, as if everything was settled and nothing more needed to be said.
The three women's eyes widened, filled with both amazement and greed. Sterling's swim trunks were soaked from playing in the water and now clung tightly to his body, outlining his perfect physique. To them, it was as if he were wearing nothing at all, completely tempting.
Sterling's attractive body and flawless looks gave these three women the courage not to back down. The boldest one walked straight toward Bella with a smug smile on her face: "We want to get to know your boyfriend."
Bella looked at the woman who still wouldn't give up and kept pushing forward, feeling an inexplicable annoyance. This was the first time she'd encountered someone so bold, still trying to interfere even after being clearly told he wasn't single.
Bella straightened up, her tone firm and unquestionable: "Let me correct you - he's not my boyfriend, he's my husband. We have a marriage certificate and everything. You can give up now."
This statement not only stunned the woman but also made the other two companions exchange glances, their faces showing shame and embarrassment. Under Bella's firm gaze, they muttered some curses under their breath and finally turned to leave reluctantly, no longer daring to make any moves.
Sterling, listening nearby, couldn't help but smile slightly.
Bella still felt a bit uncomfortable in her swimsuit. She thought that if she could find a sun protection shirt to wear, she might feel more at ease. Thinking of this, she suddenly remembered that Anna might have a spare sun shirt in the car.
So Bella gathered her courage, walked up to Sterling, and extended her hand, her voice tinged with shyness: "Can I use the car keys? I want to check if Anna brought a sun shirt."
Hearing this, Sterling slowly stood up from his beach chair and gazed at her quietly through the gap in his sunglasses with those deep eyes. He seemed to see through her thoughts, a faint smile playing on his lips: "It's in the locker in the changing room. I'll go with you to get it."
Bella nodded and followed Sterling toward the changing room.
In the changing room, Sterling skillfully opened the locker and took out the car keys to hand to Bella.
After getting the keys, Bella and Sterling returned to the car together. Bella crouched in the back seat, searching intently through the bag and the storage compartment under the seat.
Her long hair fell casually over her shoulders, occasionally swaying gently with her movements, adding a touch of softness and grace.
Sterling's gaze was deep, as if it could see through everything. His eyes were locked on Bella, seeming to contain some complex emotion.
Thinking about how so many people had seen her in a swimsuit, he felt a bit jealous, as if those gazes had become enemies invading his territory.
It wasn't jealousy exactly, but rather an instinctive unease and protective desire. After all, when she was by his side, he always hoped she belonged completely to him, free from any outside interference.
Especially in the pool, when she gently wrapped her arms around him, the moment their skin touched, that long-lost warmth and intimacy instantly spread. The moment he held her, that feeling was so intense it was almost suffocating.
Sterling hadn't felt this way in a long time. It was like an undercurrent, quietly surging in his heart, gradually gathering into an irrepressible impulse.
This impulse was like a vine, growing wildly in the sunlight, wrapping around his heartstrings, making him unable to control himself.
He wanted more - wanted to hold her tightly in his arms, wanted to whisper sweet nothings in her ear, wanted to create more beautiful memories with her. This impulse was getting out of control.
Sterling's eyes were deep and intense. He suddenly reached out and pulled Bella into his embrace. Caught off guard, momentum made her sit on his lap, her panicked eyes wide open, revealing endless surprise and confusion.
"What are you doing?" She tried to struggle, her voice trembling slightly. "I'm wet, I'll get the car seat dirty!" However, her resistance seemed so weak against Sterling's firm will.
His eyes darkened, his movements swift and urgent. He held the back of her head with one hand and forcibly turned her face toward him. His lips sealed her chattering mouth, as if using this method to tell her that at this moment, they needed no more words.
Sterling lay her down on the seat, the entire sequence of movements flowing smoothly without any hesitation.
Bella's mind went blank, her whole body stiff as a board: "Are you crazy?"
However, Sterling acted as if he hadn't heard, his eyes only on her, filled with unprecedented desire and determination.
He knew what she was afraid of - afraid their actions would be discovered, afraid this sudden impulse would ruin the harmony between them.
But at this moment, he could no longer control himself. His voice became unusually hoarse, breathing hotly near her ear: "If we're quick, no one will find out. There's no one here right now, and the surrounding parking spots are already full." His tone carried an unquestionable determination, as if announcing an unchangeable fact.
Bella's heartbeat was as rapid as drumbeats. She had never dared imagine that Sterling would make such an intimate move so boldly and fearlessly in such a public place.
