Chapter 335 Blacklist You
The woman's expression shifted slightly; she hadn't expected Bella to be so upfront about wanting to meet Charlotte. She hesitated for a moment.
"Is Charlotte here or not?" Bella's voice was firm and left no room for doubt.
"If she's here, bring her out. If she's not, tell me where she is, and I'll go find her. I don't want any misunderstandings messing with our store's reputation."
Seeing that Bella was alone, the woman seemed less intimidated.
After a brief pause, she turned and called out for Charlotte.
Charlotte emerged with a messy bedhead, looking completely different from her usual polished self. "Who's here? Is the delivery here? Remember to leave a bad review."
No one responded, and Charlotte instinctively looked at Bella, feeling a bit guilty. "Boss delivering personally? Did Serafina, that hardworking fool, finally go on strike?"
Before Charlotte could finish her sentence, Bella cut her off. "State your terms, no nonsense." Her tone was calm and direct, her eyes showing unwavering determination.
Charlotte was clearly taken aback by Bella's sudden visit and straightforward attitude.
She had intended to continue her teasing, but Bella's serious expression made her swallow her words.
She lowered her head, unable to meet Bella's gaze.
"How did you know I live here?" Charlotte finally spoke, her voice trembling slightly.
"That's not important," Bella shook her head. "What's important is that you've been leaving bad reviews for our store. I want to know why. If you have any conditions or complaints, you can bring them up, and we can resolve them together."
Upon hearing Bella's words, Charlotte seemed to find an outlet for her frustration.
She dropped her pretense, her face no longer showing fear but instead a mix of defiance and determination.
"Since you put it that way, I won't hold back." Charlotte crossed her arms, a smug smile playing on her lips.
"I just want to vent my anger. If you want to settle this, refund all the money for the deliveries we've ordered these past few days, and add an extra ten thousand dollars for emotional distress. I'll stop bothering you. Otherwise, keep dealing with it. I've found a new job that's easy and pays well, just as good as working for you. I have plenty of money and time to keep ordering your desserts and leaving bad reviews, making sure your business can't survive!"
Bella calmly proposed a suggestion. "How many of you are there?" Her voice was steady and firm as she looked at Charlotte, waiting for her response.
Charlotte was taken aback, clearly not expecting Bella to ask such a question. She hesitated for a moment before replying, "Just me and my roommate."
Bella nodded and continued, "Alright, then you need to confirm exactly how many orders you've placed so I can calculate the total and refund it all at once. We can't issue refunds without proper verification, right?"
Charlotte was annoyed but understood Bella's logic. She nodded in agreement.
"I'll show you the platform's backend," Bella said, pulling out her phone and opening the platform's page.
She handed it to Charlotte, "Point out which accounts are yours. I need confirmation before issuing any refunds."
Charlotte took the phone and carefully examined the account information on the page. She pointed to two accounts and said, "These two are ours."
Bella stepped back, quickly operated her phone, and then walked back to Charlotte, showing her the screen. It displayed the result of blocking several specific accounts.
"You won't deceive me because you can't deceive me," Bella's tone carried a hint of subtle sarcasm but was mostly firm and confident. "You want me to pay? Not happening. I've blocked all of your accounts. You won't be able to order from my store anymore. No more interruptions."
Charlotte's face turned pale as she looked at the blocked accounts on the screen.
She had thought she could exploit Bella's willingness to compromise, but Bella had not only refused to yield but had taken decisive action.
"How can you do this?" Charlotte said, frustrated. "We're consumers, and what you're doing is illegal!"
Bella sneered, "Consumers? Your actions are more like malicious troublemakers. My store needs to maintain a fair and honest environment. I won't tolerate malicious reviews and extortion. As for legality, I'm exercising my store's right to refuse service to malicious behavior. There's nothing illegal about that."
Charlotte was left speechless by Bella's words.
By the time she regained her composure, Bella had already turned and walked downstairs, leaving Charlotte fuming as she threw the dessert outside.
Back at the store, Bella felt particularly relaxed, a smile playing on her lips as she hummed a tune.
"Bella, why don't we take a couple more days off?" Anna suggested, her tone hopeful. "It's only the 2nd, and we're the only ones open. Even the store next door hasn't opened yet."
Bella stopped humming and turned to Anna, her face radiating confidence and satisfaction.
"If you want to rest, go ahead. The store is slow right now, and I can handle it alone. Plus, I plan to use this time to organize the store properly. As for delivery orders, we'll pause them for now."
