Chapter 132 Intimacy
Bella was caught off guard for a moment, then she wrapped her arms around his waist and said, "You came to pick me up?"
Her voice was filled with obvious joy, soft and sweet, like feathers gently brushing against his heart.
The anger Sterling had felt moments ago upon seeing Bella and Micah laughing together dissipated significantly.
Sterling held her for a bit and said, "Let's go home, it's freezing out here."
He finally got Bella into the car. She noticed Sterling was driving himself, not Ryan.
Bella casually asked, "Where's Ryan?"
Sterling glanced at her and snorted, "Why? You need something from him?"
Bella, confused, replied, "No, nothing."
Sterling snorted again and turned his head away. Bella was baffled. She had just asked about Ryan, why was he mad?
Then Bella thought for a moment, could Sterling be jealous? The thought made her want to laugh, and she sneaked a glance at him.
Sterling focused on the road ahead, not sparing her a single look. When he was silent, he was really handsome and charming.
Bella stared at him, getting lost in her thoughts. Suddenly, Sterling spoke, "Am I good-looking?"
Bella was startled and instinctively said, "Yes."
Sterling smirked, "Then you can look all you want when we get home."
He then stepped on the gas, speeding up. Bella, frightened, immediately grabbed her seatbelt and said, "Why are you driving so fast?"
Sterling chuckled but didn't respond, accelerating again as if someone was chasing them.
Luckily, there weren't many cars on the road at night. Sterling's car sped along, and Bella felt like they were gliding just above the ground.
A trip that usually took 20 minutes only took 10 this time. Bella glared at Sterling angrily, "Why did you drive so fast? I feel like I'm going to throw up."
Sterling unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car, then walked over to her side, opened her door, unbuckled her seatbelt, and said, "Get out."
Bella was confused by his actions. Before she could get out of the car, Sterling bent down and scooped her into his arms. Bella exclaimed, "Sterling, what are you doing?"
Sterling whispered, "Let's go to the room so you can look all you want."
Hearing the suggestive tone in his voice, Bella's face turned red. She angrily hit him, "Put me down, Nia and Zoey are home."
But Sterling ignored her struggles, carrying her through the living room and back to their room.
Bella buried her face in his chest, thinking that if Nia and Zoey saw this, she would be so embarrassed.
As soon as Sterling put her down in the room, Bella immediately distanced herself from him.
Sterling chuckled, "With your little courage, you still dare to tease me in the car?"
Bella retorted defiantly, "Who teased you? Shameless."
She turned her head away, ignoring him. Seeing her blushing face, Sterling approached her, trapping her on the bed. He propped himself up on the bed, bending down and smiling at her.
"Didn't you say I am good-looking? I told you to come back and look all you want." Sterling whispered in her ear.
Bella felt her cheeks flush. She softly said, "I need to take a shower first."
After saying that, Bella darted towards the bathroom, but Sterling grabbed her from behind, pulling her into his arms.
His breath was hot against her neck, his deep, husky voice dripping with seduction, "Want to shower together?"
Bella felt a burning sensation on her back and immediately struggled, "No, I want to shower alone."
But her voice had a teasing lilt to it. Hearing her, Sterling felt his blood heat up. Ignoring her protests, he pushed her into the bathroom.
Once they got there, Bella resisted even more. Even though they'd been intimate before, she still wasn't used to showering with him. She tried to clear her mind.
Bella pushed Sterling away. While he was running the water, she bolted out. Sterling glanced at the fleeing Bella and shook his head, laughing.
Downstairs in the bathroom, Bella leaned on the sink, looking at herself in the mirror. Her face was flushed, and her ears were burning. She knew what Sterling meant; she wasn't naive.
They hadn't been intimate for a while. Thinking about the times Sterling made love to her, Bella's face turned even redder. She shook her head, trying to clear the images from her mind.
When she returned to the room, she found Sterling sitting on the couch, holding a towel. Seeing Bella come up, he waved the towel and said, "Come here."
Bella, wearing a white camisole nightgown, slowly walked over, her hair still dripping.
Sterling pulled Bella onto his lap, then reached out with the towel to dry her hair, "Why didn't you dry your hair?"
Bella softly said, "I couldn't find the hairdryer in the downstairs bathroom."
Sterling smiled but didn't say anything, focusing on drying her hair. Bella found it strange; why was Sterling so patient tonight?
Bella thought about their previous arguments and how serious they had been, but now they could quietly be together.
These warm moments always seemed so short. Bella was worried they would start arguing again. Thinking about it, Bella found it a bit funny. Every time he was gentle, they would definitely argue the next day, like an unbreakable curse.
Sterling finally dried Bella's hair, and then tossed the towel aside. He wrapped his arms around her waist and said, "What are you thinking about?"
Bella was forced to hook her arms around his neck and said, "Nothing."
Sterling just looked at her, his eyes filled with deep affection that almost made Bella drown. His hand suddenly slipped under her nightgown, moving from her thigh up to her waist, caressing her skin.
Bella shivered from his cool touch, feeling like a rabbit caught in a hunter's trap.
Sterling's hand roamed her waist, the smooth, delicate skin leaving him insatiable. Bella's waist was so slender it seemed like he could snap it with a little force.
Sterling's hand continued to tease her waist, his urgent breaths filling her ears. Trembling, Bella finally pleaded, "Not here."
Sterling chuckled, unable to hold back any longer. He picked Bella up and pressed her onto the bed.
