Chapter 385 Knowing the Truth

Bella's mind was suddenly filled with a deafening buzz, like a thunderclap had exploded inside her head.

She stood there, completely stunned. Isadora and Serafina were equally shocked, their eyes wide as they stared at Debra, as if they had just heard something unbelievable.

"What did you say? Say it again!" Bella's voice trembled; she couldn't believe her ears. Debra's words were like a sharp knife, stabbing deep into her heart.

Bella felt her blood run cold, her face turning pale as her eyes filled with shock and regret. She had never imagined that Anna had gone through so much suffering, and that Anna had kept it all from her to spare her the guilt.

Bella hated herself for letting Anna wear her clothes that day, and even more for letting Anna go out alone to buy wine. If she hadn't done that, maybe Anna wouldn't have faced such misfortune.

She clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palms, but she felt no pain. Her heart was filled with anger and self-reproach, as if a thousand ants were gnawing at it.

Bella looked at Debra, her eyes cold and resolute, as if she wanted to unleash all her fury on the person responsible for this.

"Debra, you're gonna pay for all the evil you've done!" Bella's voice was low and powerful, each word forced out through gritted teeth.

Her eyes shone with an unprecedented determination and strength, as if she wanted to destroy Debra completely.

The commotion finally woke up the other people in the store. Anna, rubbing her sleepy eyes, came out of the break room.

When she saw the tense standoff between Debra and Bella, her heart sank. She knew that the secret she had tried so hard to keep was finally out.

"Bella." Anna called Bella's name softly, her voice trembling with unease.

Bella turned to look at Anna, her eyes filled with both anger and pain. She was furious at Debra's actions and heartbroken over what Anna had endured.

Bella's lips trembled as she tried to speak, but her emotions were too overwhelming for her to form any words.

She turned back to glare at Debra on the floor, her eyes burning with rage and sorrow. She bit her lip, trying to channel all her anger into this moment.

Finally, she couldn't hold back any longer. With all her strength, she kicked Debra hard. "Why don't you just die! Why don't you just die!"

Bella's voice was choked with tears, each word a cry from the depths of her heart.

She couldn't forgive Debra for what she had done. "You evil woman, you not only killed my child but also made Anna suffer so much. Why don't you just die?"

Bella, like a woman possessed, began to kick and hit Debra.

Serafina and Isadora, realizing the gravity of the situation from Bella's words, were filled with anger as well.

Seeing Bella's heart-wrenching pain, they didn't hesitate to join in, kicking Debra a few times to vent their own rage.

The atmosphere in the store was tense to the extreme. Debra curled up on the floor, screaming in agony, while Bella, Serafina, and Isadora were like three furious lions.

Anna, seeing Bella losing control, rushed forward, crying as she tightly hugged Bella, afraid she might do something even more reckless.

"Bella, stop!" Anna's voice was tearful as she shook Bella's shoulders, trying to calm her down.

"Enough, it's enough! If you keep going, someone will die. Colin knows everything about me, and he doesn't mind. I'm living well now, and I can start a new life. I'm really okay, you don't have to do this for me."

Bella was brought back to reality by Anna's words. She looked at Anna's tear-streaked face, feeling a deep sense of guilt.

Bella looked at Anna, her eyes filled with gratitude and remorse. "Anna, I'm sorry. I wanted to kill her. I really wanted to kill her and make her pay."

Anna gently shook her head, wiping her tears with a tissue. "It's okay, Bella. I understand how you feel. But we can't let anger cloud our judgment. Calm down, calm down. Debra isn't worth dirtying your hands over."

Bella had never felt such an extreme desire to end someone's life. She had always been so gentle and kind, unable to even step on an ant, and would scream at the sight of a fuzzy caterpillar.

But now, her hatred had been fully unleashed, and she seemed like a different person.

She stared intently at Debra on the floor, her once gentle eyes now cold and merciless. She no longer feared any consequences; she just wanted this evil woman to pay.

"Debra, people like you are a plague on this world. Just die." Bella's voice was low and powerful, each word a roar from her heart. She knew her anger and pain had reached their peak, and she couldn't bear to let this evil woman go unpunished.

Anna held onto the out-of-control Bella tightly. Debra, still on the floor, had never seen Bella like this and was trembling with fear, though the satisfaction of revenge clouded her judgment.

"So you didn't know about Anna's situation? How delightful," Debra taunted, each word a death wish.

Isadora, her brow furrowed, felt a mix of emotions. Despite Debra's hateful behavior, seeing her face twisted in fear stirred a bit of concern. She didn't want anything irreversible to happen.

Fearing Bella might do something she couldn't take back, Isadora took a deep breath and cautiously opened the door a crack. The cool breeze that slipped in seemed to momentarily ease the tension.

Anna, also worried about the situation escalating, seized the opportunity. "Are you stupid? What are you still doing here? Get out! Do you really want to wait until Bella cuts you to pieces?"

Anna's voice was sharp and urgent, each word a blade meant to cut through Debra's fear.

Debra, jolted by Anna's outburst, seemed to be pushed by an invisible force. She stumbled to her feet and ran out, each step frantic and desperate, as if chased by a horde of demons.
