Chapter 337 Make a Big Profit

Anna stood with her hands on her hips, shouting angrily, "Over a hundred orders? And they left a message saying they were afraid we'd be overwhelmed, so they split the orders up for us to do slowly. What does that even mean? We're already rushing, how can we possibly keep up?"

Bella heard the news and sighed, "Let it go, Anna. Complaining won't help. Since the customers said that, let's just do our best."

Bella turned to Serafina, "Serafina, can you help out again? We might need you to make another trip to the office building."

Serafina nodded, tired but always cheerful, "No problem, I can do it. You guys finish up quickly, I'm ready to deliver anytime."

The three of them dove back into their work.

Bella and Anna sped up their production, while Serafina helped with packing and preparing the delivery bags.

Despite the massive order, they put care into every dessert and drink.

Finally, the second batch of orders was completed.

Serafina picked up the heavy bags and headed to the office building across the street. Bella and Anna collapsed into their chairs, exchanging a weary smile.

When Serafina returned, she saw Bella and Anna back on their feet, as they had just received another batch of orders.

Bella and Anna were speechless. Serafina quickly asked, "Is there anything I can help with? I can pitch in to make things faster!"

Bella looked up at Serafina, smiled, and then shook her head, looking tired, "No, Serafina, go spend time with your grandpa. He's alone in the shop, and while nothing will happen, having someone to talk to will keep him from getting bored. You can deliver the orders later."

Anna agreed, "Yeah, Serafina, just relax and be with your grandpa. Bella and I can handle this."

Bella turned to Anna, her eyes twinkling mischievously, "Anna, call Colin. With such a large order, I'm worried we might mess up. Even if he's not at the office, he'll know how many people are working today. Ask him how many orders we need to make so we can estimate the ingredients properly. This way, we avoid waste and ensure everyone gets their share."

Anna immediately picked up her phone and dialed Colin's number. On the other end, Colin sounded busy.

"Yes, our company resumed work today, so we ordered a lot of desserts and drinks. As for the exact number of people, I'm not sure since some are working remotely. But don't worry, the quantity on the order is definitely enough. Even if there are extras, we can save them for afternoon tea," Colin said.

Anna turned to Bella, "Colin said the order quantity is definitely enough, so we can proceed as planned. Let's try to finish the orders quickly and deliver them."

After a long day of hard work, when the last batch of orders was delivered by Serafina, Anna finally had a chance to sit down and tally the accounts.

She looked at the ledger with a satisfied smile and said to Bella, "Bella, today was really lucky. We made quite a bit. With just the office building across the street, our shop won't go hungry."

Bella smiled and nodded, "Yeah, you little money-grubber. As long as people love our desserts, that's all that matters."

Anna continued, "By the way, Bella, I think we should consider hiring more staff. Look at today, the three of us were running around like crazy. If we get more orders, we'll be exhausted."

"Plus, the delivery platform takes a big cut. If these orders were placed directly with us, we'd make a lot more."

Bella thought for a moment and agreed, "You're right. We can put a phone number in the shop for direct orders. As for hiring more staff, we can consider it, but let's observe for a while longer."

Anna nodded in agreement, "Next time Serafina delivers, I'll have her take some cards with our phone number and address. This will make it easier for customers to order and also serve as promotion."

Serafina overheard and quickly chimed in, "Anna, I already did that. I took the shop's cards with me today and told them to call directly next time."

Anna smiled, pleased with Serafina's foresight. She patted Serafina's shoulder, "Great job, Serafina. You're really sharp. Our business will definitely get better."

Anna then pulled out a sealed envelope from the drawer and handed it to Serafina, "This is your reward. You did an excellent job today."

Serafina was excited to receive the bonus, but when she felt the thickness of the envelope, she was surprised. She opened it and found much more money than her daily wage.

She looked at Anna, feeling uneasy, "This is too much. Even triple my daily wage wouldn't be this much."

Anna smiled and shook her head, "Serafina, you deserve it. It's a holiday gift from Bella and me, plus your wage for today."

Bella added, "Yes, Serafina, please accept it. It's our way of thanking and recognizing you. Keep up the good work, and there will be more rewards."

Anna spoke with a light but firm tone, "Take it, Serafina. Bella and I planned this for you. We have big plans for the future."

Serafina's eyes welled up with tears. Apart from Gabriel, she had never felt such genuine care and appreciation.

"Thank you, really, thank you," Serafina said, bowing repeatedly, making Anna and Bella chuckle.

Anna added, "Yes, Serafina, don't let us down. We want to open more branches and turn our dessert shop into a chain!"

At Windsor Villa.

The night was like a silent painter, using deep black to color every inch of space, while the entire mansion glowed warmly, like a bright pearl, radiating soft light.

Sterling sat quietly by the floor-to-ceiling window, the contrast between the dark night outside and the cozy interior was striking.

His gaze was gentle and deep, as if he could see far beyond the night.
