Chapter 424 Losing Control After Drinking

Bella's mind was racing as she tried to figure out how to get away from this guy.

She remembered dropping her phone by the door when she came in. She wasn't sure if the video call was still connected since her headphones had muted the sound, but she clung to the hope that someone might hear her cries for help or notice something was off on the video.

The front door was just a few steps behind the man, but it felt like a mile away at that moment.

She noticed the strong smell of alcohol on him and his unsteady steps, guessing he might be too drunk to think straight. This gave her a glimmer of hope. If she could run to the door and open it while he was distracted, she might be able to call for help and get out of this dangerous situation.

But this plan required a lot of courage and perfect timing. One wrong move could make him angry and put her in even more danger. Bella took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She told herself this was her only chance.

Just as she made up her mind and prepared to act, the man in the dark suddenly moved closer to her. His breath was so close it made Bella feel suffocated with fear. She instinctively tried to pull away, but his hand gripped her shoulder tightly, making it impossible to move.

"Do I really look like a robber? Or maybe the kind that robs women?" The man's deep voice sounded in her ear, tinged with a mix of mockery and displeasure.

Bella was stunned. She hadn't expected it to be Sterling. Only now did she recognize his scent beneath the heavy smell of alcohol. She had been too tense to notice before.

Furious, Bella pushed him away and reached for the light switch. "You barged into my house and pushed me onto the couch. Of course, I was scared. What did you expect? Naturally, I thought you were a bad guy."

But before she could take more than two steps, Sterling's strong grip yanked her back. She lost her balance and fell forward, landing right in Sterling's arms. He then pinned her down on the couch, his weight making it impossible for her to move.

Bella struggled in terror, trying to scream for help, but Sterling's rough kiss silenced her. In the stifling, enclosed space, she felt her breath becoming more labored, as if she were suffocating.

She pushed against Sterling's chest with all her might, her hands slapping against his firm muscles, but it was all in vain.

Sterling's kisses grew more frenzied, the taste of alcohol making her dizzy and nauseous.

"Let me go! Are you crazy?" Bella wanted to shout, but her voice was muffled by Sterling's lips, turning her cries into silent struggles.

Sterling seemed unfazed by her resistance, tightening his grip as if he wanted to merge her into his body. His eyes shone with an indescribable fervor and possessiveness, filling Bella with unprecedented fear.

Bella felt a wave of despair. She had never felt so helpless. Sterling's strength was overwhelming, and it was clear he was too drunk to be rational. Her resistance seemed futile to him.

"Sterling, snap out of it! It's Bella! What you're doing is illegal!" Bella tried to appeal to his reason, but her words were met with even more intense kisses and embraces.

Sterling's mind was consumed by a single thought: the person he longed for was right beneath him. How could he stop under the influence of alcohol?

The booze had stripped away all his restraints and reason. He only wanted to indulge himself, to hold her and never let go.

Bella's breathing grew more labored. She tried to push Sterling away, but her strength was insignificant against his. Tears streamed down her face, falling onto the couch, unnoticed by Sterling.

"Sterling, please, let me go." Bella's voice was hoarse and weak. She was on the verge of giving up.

Sterling, driven by alcohol, had lost all sense of reason. He left Bella no room for resistance.

The more Bella fought back, the more his desire surged. He held her tightly, as if trying to fuse her with his body. Finally, in the moment of his release, he sighed with satisfaction, as if all his waiting and longing had been fulfilled.

But for Bella, this moment was one of endless humiliation and pain. She felt a mix of anger and helplessness. Her strength was insignificant against Sterling's, leaving her at his mercy.

Her eyes filled with tears, but she no longer had the strength to wipe them away, letting them fall silently.

The air conditioning hadn't been turned on when they entered, making the room unbearably hot. Bella was drenched in sweat, the sticky feeling adding to her discomfort. Her hair tie had come loose at some point, and her long hair clung messily to her face. She no longer had the energy to brush it aside.

Bella's heart was filled with humiliation and anger. She couldn't understand Sterling's behavior. Just a moment ago, he had been showing affection to another woman, and now, drunk and out of control, he was doing this to her. It made her feel furious and resentful.

After Sterling finally finished, Bella felt a sense of relief. At least he hadn't completely lost his mind, showing some restraint at the last moment.

Bella took a deep breath, then kicked Sterling off her and quickly ran to the bathroom, locking the door behind her. She leaned against the cold door, gasping for air, trying to calm herself down.

The bathroom was filled with steam and the scent of body wash, providing Bella with a small comfort. She turned on the faucet, letting cold water cascade over her, trying to steady her nerves.

Why did this have to happen? She had already decided to end things with him. She couldn't let him act out like this again!

After spending a long time in the bathroom, Bella finally felt calm enough to come out. She saw Sterling still passed out on the couch.

Bella decided she couldn't stay with this drunken, unreasonable Sterling any longer. She knew being in the same room with him would only lead to more trouble. Resolutely, she picked up her phone and called Ryan.

"Ryan, can you come over? Sterling's drunk and at my place. You need to take him away. Otherwise, I'll throw him out on the street, and if the media catches it, it'll be the Windsor family's reputation on the line." Bella's voice was firm and unwavering.
