Chapter 356 Filming as Evidence
Colin tightened his grip around Anna, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Oh, there's more where that came from. Wanna try?" His hand started to move again, slowly reaching for the hem of her shirt, ready to explore further.
Anna quickly covered the area he was aiming for, her eyes flashing with fear and helplessness. In a near-pleading tone, she said, "I won't back out, I promise. Just don't do this."
Her voice was filled with compromise and resignation, clearly showing she had lost this power struggle.
Colin paused, resting his forehead against hers, their breaths mingling. He whispered, "I don't believe you. How do I know you're not lying again? Maybe you should record a video on your phone as proof. Otherwise, you're not leaving tonight, and you won't be able to get out of bed."
His tone was teasing but firm, leaving no room for negotiation. He knew she had no choice but to comply.
Anna swallowed hard, her heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and embarrassment. Despite her reluctance, she had no choice but to follow his instructions under his intense presence.
"Fine, I'll do it," she said softly, her voice trembling. She then mustered the courage to look up at him. "But you need to get up first. How am I supposed to record like this?"
Colin's smile widened with satisfaction at her compliance. He stood up, straightening his slightly disheveled clothes, and watched her intently, his deep eyes taking in her every move.
"When you record, say that you willingly agreed to be my girlfriend and won't back out. If you do, you'll be stuck in bed," he instructed, his tone leaving no room for doubt.
Anna took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She pulled out her phone, activated the recording function, and began to speak as he had directed.
Her voice was still shaky, but she tried to sound clear and firm. "I, Anna, willingly agree to be Colin's girlfriend and won't back out. If I do, he'll make sure I can't get out of bed."
After finishing, her cheeks burned with embarrassment. She glanced at him, seeing the satisfied smile on his face, clearly pleased with her performance.
Her emotions were a whirlwind of shame, awkwardness, and uncertainty about the future.
Colin checked the video, then looked up at her with a playful glint in his eyes. "So, are you staying or going back?"
His tone was casual, as if asking an insignificant question, but Anna knew the weight behind it.
She jumped up, her voice firm. "I'm going back, of course!"
The video was her ticket to freedom. She had no intention of becoming his "girlfriend" and being trapped here.
Colin watched her reaction with amusement, having anticipated her answer but still finding her response entertaining. He narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing her like a predator about to lose its prey.
"Are you sure you want to go back? Remember, you're officially my girlfriend now. Staying might bring some unexpected surprises."
His voice was low and magnetic, carrying an irresistible allure.
But Anna wasn't falling for it. She shook her head firmly. "Stop joking! I'm not someone who can be easily tied down. Besides, you didn't touch me before because we were acting. Now that I'm really your girlfriend, I don't trust you to control yourself! I'm safer at home."
She grabbed her purse and scarf, quickly tidying her clothes and hair, ready to leave.
Colin, seeing her determination, didn't push further. He smiled playfully. "Alright, I'll take you back. But remember, you're my girlfriend now, so play by the rules."
His words were teasing, but Anna didn't take them lightly. She glared at him, pretending to be angry. "Who's your girlfriend? Stop saying that!"
Colin leaned in close, whispering in her ear, "Didn't you just say it? You willingly agreed to be my woman, no backing out."
Anna's cheeks flushed red. She knew she had been tricked but couldn't argue. She glared at him, then silently followed him out of the room.
Colin suddenly said, "I'm heading back to Harborvale with Sterling tomorrow. I'll see you when I can. If you try anything funny, I'll send the video to Bella and your friends at the shop. Let them judge."
Anna gritted her teeth, cursing Colin in her mind. She held back her anger and frustration, and as soon as they stepped out, they ran into Sterling.
Sterling looked at Anna in surprise, clearly not expecting her. Anna, panicked, covered her face and ran off, afraid Sterling might notice something.
Colin watched her flee, laughing. He turned to Sterling. "Don't worry about her. She's just throwing a tantrum. I'll catch up with you later."
Sterling, though puzzled, didn't press further. He nodded.
After dropping Anna off at her apartment complex, Colin didn't leave immediately. He leaned in, his eyes playful and expectant. "No goodbye kiss? I'm leaving tomorrow, and you won't see me for a while."
His tone was teasing, testing her reaction. Anna, disgusted, glared at him. "We've only been 'together' for twenty minutes. Where's the love and longing? Don't make me sick."
Colin wasn't offended. He smiled even brighter, raising an eyebrow. "Really? So, you mean we need more time to develop feelings? No problem, I'll give you that chance."
Anna rolled her eyes, knowing she had a long road ahead with him.
