"Mom, please listen to me," Bella said.
But Lauren ignored her, got into the car, and drove away. Julian, filled with anger, glared at her, "Look at the mess you've made! If this deal falls through, I won't let you off!"
After his outburst, Julian also got into the car, and they quickly disappeared from Bella's view.
She clenched her fists, then got into her car and drove back to the Redstone family.
The atmosphere in the car was tense. Lauren and Julian were visibly upset and sat in silence in the backseat. Both of them didn’t expect that Gianna, whom they had always disregarded, had managed to gain Felix's attention.
If it weren't for Lauren constantly badmouthing Gianna in his ear, their relationship wouldn't have become so strained.
The more Julian thought about it, the angrier he became. Through gritted teeth, he said, "Lauren, you need to find a way to mend your relationship with Gianna. The Redstone Group must secure this project, or we might not make it through the year!"
Lauren frowned and replied coldly, "You're just as responsible for insulting Gianna. If we have to apologize, we'll do it together. Don't expect me to bear it alone!"
"You!" Julian's face was filled with anger as he coldly stared at Lauren. "If you hadn't been constantly blaming Gianna, our relationship wouldn't have been broken. You're on your own to fix this, and if you can't, we're getting a divorce!"
"What?" Lauren looked at Julian in disbelief, her eyes filled with shock.
"Julian, I've given birth to two daughters for you, and I've taken care of our family for years. Now, because of a project, you want a divorce?"
Julian's eyes flickered. It wasn't just because of the project; part of the reason was seeing Lauren's outburst at Gianna, which turned his lack of feelings for Lauren into disgust. He couldn't bear to be with her for another day.
"The decision is yours. I only care about the project on the east side of the city proceeding as planned!" Julian said coldly.
Lauren's eyes instantly turned red, and she gritted her teeth as she looked at Julian. "Are you trying to force me to die? I will never apologize to Gianna in this lifetime!"
Julian looked at her coldly, "You still have the option of divorce."
Lauren sneered, "Fine, but you have to give me half of your wealth!"
"What have you done for the Redstone Group all these years? Why should I give you half of my wealth? At most, I'll give you a sum of money, but don't even think about touching my shares in the Redstone Group and my other properties!"
Lauren shouted, "Julian, are you still a man? When we got married, you said I would be your solid support! I've been that for so many years, and now you say I haven't done anything?"
Julian said, "You've just been taking care of the children at home, playing cards, and shopping. Do you really think you've done a lot?"
Lauren felt that Julian was a stranger now. In his eyes, it was all about self-interest, and she was just a discarded piece without any value. She fell silent, not knowing what to think, her hands on her lap unconsciously tightening.
Lauren's sudden change surprised Julian, but he continued coldly, "You figure out what you want to do! This project failed, and we're getting a divorce!"
The two of them didn't speak anymore. After Julian dropped Lauren off at the Redstone family, he left without a word.
When Bella returned to the Redstone family, she saw Lauren sitting on the sofa, crying, and quickly went to sit beside her.
Bella said, "Mom, did you and Dad argue because of me? I'm sorry. I really didn't know that Felix gave the project to Dad because of Gianna. I had just finished talking to Felix on the phone, and then you came to tell me that Felix agreed to let the Redstone Group join the project. I thought it was because of my call."
Then she added, "If I had known it would have such consequences, I would have called Felix to confirm it! It's all my fault!"
Listening to Bella's words, Lauren gradually stopped crying.
She turned to look at Bella and saw the worry and guilt in her eyes, which gradually dissipated Lauren's anger.
After all, Bella would always be her daughter, and that couldn't be changed. She wiped away her tears and said, "Bella, this has nothing to do with you. It's your dad. He said that if I didn't go to apologize to Gianna, making amends to her to salvage this project, he would divorce me!"
Bella's face froze for a moment, then she said angrily, "How could Dad say that? You've put so much into this family all these years! If it weren't for you, we wouldn't have this family!"
"Bella, what should I do? I don't want to go and apologize to Gianna!" Lauren said.
Apologizing to Gianna was an extremely painful and difficult experience.
Bella held her hands and said, "Mom, let's not rush into this. I'll think of a solution first. If there really is no other way, then I'll have to ask you to apologize to Gianna."
Lauren's eyes were filled with anger and disgust towards Gianna.
"Alright!" Lauren agreed.
After comforting Lauren, Bella went back to her room, feeling exhausted. Thinking about her phone call to Felix, asking him to give the Redstone Group a chance, and his immediate refusal, Bella's anger and unwillingness to give up almost overwhelmed her! She wouldn't give up like this! After all, Felix still owed her three wishes!
Bella took out her phone and dialed Felix's number.
"Felix, do you remember that I saved you once before, and you promised to help me finish three wishes?" Bella asked.
Felix's hand holding the phone tightened, and he said, "I remember."
At that time, Bella neither agreed nor refused. If she hadn't brought it up now, Felix would have completely forgotten about it.

Felix frowned and said coldly, "You want me to give that project back to the Redstone Group?"

As Bella's words fell, Felix's face turned extremely cold.
After a long while, he said coldly, "Alright, I promise you!"
"Thank you, Felix. Goodbye." Bella said happily.
After speaking, Bella hung up the phone. She played with her phone, a cold smile on her lips, knowing that she would be the one standing by Felix's side in the end, and it could only be her!
The next day, as soon as Gianna woke up, she received a message on WhatsApp from someone with a black profile picture, sending her a file.
She opened the file and quickly browsed through its contents.
As she suspected, the real mastermind behind this plagiarism incident was someone from the LR Design Studio.
Gianna sneered, replied with a "thank you," and then transferred one million dollars to the other party.
There was no response, just the silent acceptance of the money.
Gianna saved the file and decided not to expose Trinity immediately. After all, MY FASHION had more important matters to attend to at the moment.
As she finished getting ready and came downstairs, she saw Laura standing by the window. "Laura, what are you looking at?"
