Chapter 67

"Gianna, I should have killed you back then," Felix said.

Gianna immediately hung up the phone, her hand holding the phone trembling slightly.

"Your parents treat you like this all the time!" he said, seated in a wheelchair and seeming to have listened for a while.

Gianna calmly put away her phone without answering Felix's question.

"Mr. Clinton, I'll freshen up first, then take you to breakfast."

As she passed by Felix, he grabbed her wrist.

"Gianna, answer me!" he insisted.

Gianna frowned and coldly shook off Felix's hand, "What does it have to do with you?"

"I am your husband!"

Before he could finish, he saw Gianna looking at him mockingly, "Mr. Clinton, I was disregarded by the Redstone family. Didn't you already know about this? Why pretend to be shocked here?"

Felix's face became stiff, but Gianna ignored him and walked away.

After she finished freshening up, Gianna came out, and Felix remained in the same position, his head hanging down, lost in thought.

But Gianna didn't care.

She walked up to Felix and whispered, "Mr. Clinton, I'll push you to breakfast."

When they arrived at the restaurant, Garrett saw them as soon as they walked in.

He waved at Gianna, "Miss Redstone, let's have breakfast together!"

Gianna looked at Felix, saw that he had no reaction, and pushed Felix to sit across from Garrett.

"Mr. Clinton, what do you want to eat?"

"Anything," Felix replied, his voice cold. Gianna said nothing more and turned around to get breakfast.

During breakfast, Felix remained silent with a cold expression. Gianna and Garrett pretended not to know each other and only occasionally exchanged a few casual words.

After finishing breakfast, just as Gianna was about to push Felix away, Garrett suddenly said, "Felix, I want to know when we're going back to Dawnridge."

"At three o'clock this afternoon," Felix replied.

Back on the top floor, Gianna pushed Felix into the study and then turned around to leave.

As she took a few steps, Felix's somewhat apologetic voice sounded from behind her.

"Gianna, I'm sorry for ignoring you before."

Gianna's footsteps paused for a moment, then she lowered her gaze and said, "You don't need to apologize. I stopped caring a long time ago."

Felix watched her fragile figure and wanted to say something, but his throat felt dry. He could only watch her leave.

Back in the bedroom, Gianna didn't take long to pack up before receiving a call from Jasmine.

"Gianna, you slut, did you call the police to arrest me?!" Jasmine had just finished her makeup and was ready to start shooting when two police officers suddenly came to take her away directly to the police station.

Gianna looked indifferent. "Bella gave you my phone number?"

Jasmine's face turned pale with anger as she gritted her teeth. "I'm asking if you called the police to arrest me?!"

She felt embarrassed when she was taken away just now, and seeing the shocked expressions on the staff members' and actors' faces made her feel even more embarrassed. She wouldn't let Gianna off easily!

Gianna smiled. "You spread rumors on Twitter. Am I not allowed to call the police?"

"How is it spreading rumors? Didn't you hit me? Didn't you interfere in Belle and Felix's relationship?"

The anger in Jasmine's tone made Gianna find it laughable.

"Believe whatever you want. But I advise you to cooperate with the police investigation and stop calling me."

As soon as Gianna finished speaking, Jasmine heard the sound of the call being disconnected from her phone. If she called back, it would be in the middle of a conversation!

Jasmine held onto her phone, her newly done nails already slightly deformed, but she seemed to feel no pain.

That slut Gianna!

She dared to go against her!

She directly called Emerson Astor, choking as she spoke, "Mom, Gianna is bullying me! You have to help me!"

The Astor family in Dawnridge was considered a prominent family. After hearing Jasmine's words, Emerson went straight to find Lauren.

Lauren's face turned green with anger when she found out Gianna had called the police because of Twitter. She also felt embarrassed.

"This beast! How could she do such a disgraceful thing? I won't let her off easily!"

Emerson's face was cold, and she stared at Lauren. "If this affects Jasmine's future, I won't just let it go!"

Lauren quickly said, "Emerson, I will help Jasmine deal with this!"

"Then I'll wait for Lauren's news!"

After Emerson left, Lauren immediately called Bella over and said coldly, "Belle, you immediately contact Gianna and tell her to come back!"

Bella learned from Jasmine about Gianna's report to the police and quickly comforted Lauren. She then pretended to be upset and said, "Mom, it's not that I don't want to contact Gianna, but she blocked my phone number."

Lauren was furious and trembling with anger. Through clenched teeth, she said, "This bitch! I won't let her get away with this!"

Gianna and her group returned to Dawnridge, which was already late at night.

As soon as she exited the plane, Gianna saw several missed calls from Julian, Kimberly, and Henry.

She raised an eyebrow. It seemed like the Redstone family was already furious and frantic. Otherwise, Kimberly and Henry wouldn’t have contacted her.

But she was tired and not interested in dealing with them.

Together with Sophia, she sent Felix off in the car. Gianna said calmly, “Mr. Clinton, I will go directly to my villa in North Town.”

Felix’s eyes turned cold. “Get in the car. I’ll give you a ride.”

“No, thanks. It’s not on the way,” she replied.

“Gianna, believe me, I can make sure you won’t be able to go home!”

Gianna frowned. “Felix, you’re being too domineering!”

“Either get in the car or walk back!”

After a few seconds of stalemate, Gianna opened the car door and sat inside.

Because she knew that Felix was serious.

The car drove toward Grand View. When they reached the villa's entrance, seeing that Gianna had no intention of getting out, Felix turned to look at her.

“Take me back.”

Gianna said, “Isn’t the secretary there? I have something to do when I get back.”

“Gianna, don’t make me angry.”

Gianna pushed open the car door and walked away.

She heard Felix’s furious and frantic voice from behind, “Gianna, stop right there!”

Ignoring him, Gianna walked to the entrance of Grand View and flagged down a taxi.

Not long after returning to her villa in North Town, the doorbell rang.

When she saw Felix outside, a hint of impatience flashed in her eyes, and she had no intention of opening the door.

In the next moment, as if he knew what she was thinking, Felix coldly said, “Gianna, open the door. I know you’re in there. If you don’t open it, I will have to break it down!”

Gianna’s face turned pale with anger, and her grip on the water cup tightened unconsciously.

How shameless Felix was!

She placed the water cup on the table and opened the door, saying coldly, “Felix, what do you want?!”

Felix glanced at her and blandly said, “I don’t want anything. I just plan on moving in with you.”
