Chapter 153

Gianna walked up to Felix and straightened his tie, smiling as she said, "There, I accidentally messed up your tie just now."

As soon as she finished speaking, Felix suddenly embraced Gianna around the waist and whispered, "Wait for me."

"Okay."

Felix left the villa and drove away directly.

When Felix arrived at the club, Bella had already lost consciousness, leaning toward Sophia.

Sophia complained in her heart. If she had known she would encounter such an awkward situation, she should have refused Felix's offer to help manage LR Design Studio for Bella.

Seeing Felix appear at the door of the private room, Sophia quickly said, "Mr. Clinton, I can't hold on much longer."

Felix's expression was indifferent. "I've called a doctor. Hold on a little longer."

"What exactly happened tonight?" asked Felix.
"I brought Miss Redstone to discuss business with a partner, only to discover later that the partner had drugged Miss Redstone's drink without my knowledge."
Felix's expression turned cold. "I do not wish to see that partner's name in Dawnridge again, block all communication. Keep what happened tonight under wraps. Furthermore, in the future, in such instances, contact a physician directly. I will not involve myself in it anymore."

If Sophia hadn't mentioned that Bella was drugged just before the call got cut off, Felix wouldn't have come tonight.

An hour later, the doctor arrived to check on Bella and administer medication.

"Mr. Clinton, Miss Redstone should be fine after a good night's sleep."

After the doctor left, Felix looked at Sophia indifferently.

"Arrange a room for her in a hotel."

Sophia picked up the phone, which had already gone black on the floor, almost in tears. "Mr. Clinton, when I called you earlier, Miss Redstone grabbed my phone, and it fell and broke."

Felix's face immediately darkened, and after a few minutes, he said, "Register it under my name."

After arranging the room for Bella, Sophia left after escorting her to the room.

As for Felix, he left with a dark expression the moment the room was arranged.

Back at the villa, Felix knocked on Gianna's door, but there was no response.

Frowning, Felix found the door unlocked. Upon pushing it open, he discovered Gianna wasn't inside.

A coldness flashed in Felix's eyes as he dialed Gianna's number, only to find it switched off!

Where could Gianna be at this late hour? And why was her phone off?

He immediately called Sophia and coldly instructed, "Find out where Gianna is right now!"

On the other end, shortly after Felix left, Gianna received a call and also left the villa.

Gianna hailed a cab and went straight to Lose Demon, heading directly to the largest private room inside.

As she pushed open the door, the previously noisy room fell silent.

Sitting in the center with a devil mask on, a man smirked, seeming to be in a good mood.

"Iris, how did you like the gift I sent you last time? Did you enjoy it?"

In the room stood two rows of well-trained bodyguards, their presence intimidating, but none matched the terrifying aura surrounding the man sitting in the center of the sofa.

Gianna remained composed as she walked to sit opposite him, her expression indifferent as she said, "Scorpio, taking on the task to kill you was purely accidental. I was also deceived. What do you want from me?"

An hour earlier, Garrett had called Gianna to inform her that Scorpio was currently at Lose Demon. She had rushed over immediately, intending to settle things with Scorpio.

Scorpio raised his glass and took a sip, smiling. "You've caused the deaths of many of my subordinates. How do you think we should settle this score?"

Gianna's eyes turned cold. "You should know the rules of Full Moon Boulevard. Even if seeking revenge, you should go after the person who assigned the task to kill you."

Scorpio smiled, but his eyes held a chill.

"Have you forgotten that I've left Full Moon Boulevard? So, there's no need to abide by its rules."

Gianna furrowed her brows and asked coldly, "Are you suggesting that only one of us can survive?"

"Not exactly. As long as you help me with something, I can let you go."

An hour later, Gianna left Lose Demon, Scorpio's words replaying in her head.

Scorpio wanted Gianna to think carefully, but he didn't give her a choice.

With a lot on her mind, Gianna walked to her car. Just as she was about to leave, a cold voice sounded beside her.

"Gianna, shouldn't you be sleeping at the villa right now? Why are you here?"

Gianna turned around to see Felix standing coldly not far behind her, surprise flickering in her eyes.

Lost in her thoughts earlier, Gianna hadn't noticed when Felix had approached her from behind.

After a moment of silence, Gianna asked, "Did you come out to find me on purpose?"

"What do you think?"

Felix walked up to Gianna, looked down at her, and said, "You haven't answered my question from earlier."

Gianna pursed her lips and whispered, "Mr. Clinton, this is my private matter. I'd rather not talk about it. Is that okay?"

As the words fell, the atmosphere between them also grew tense for a moment.

After a few seconds of silence, Felix spoke softly, "Alright, let's go back."

On the way back to the villa, both remained silent.

Gianna gazed out the window, lost in thought, while Felix drove with a steely expression, his grip on the wheel tight, barely containing his frustration.

Upon returning to the villa, Gianna bid Felix goodnight and headed to her room.

Felix stared at the door of the guest room, his eyes filled with suppressed anger.

Although they had started anew, Felix felt he couldn't see through Gianna anymore.

The next morning, as soon as Felix arrived at the Clinton Group, Sophia went to his office to report on the progress of the investigation.

"Mr. Clinton, last night we only found out that Miss Redstone went to the most luxurious private room at Lose Demon, but we couldn't find out who she met or what happened."

Felix's eyes turned icy. "Continue the investigation. We must find out who she met!"

Sophia spoke with a serious expression, "Mr. Clinton, that might be difficult. The surveillance in that private room has been tampered with. Unless Miss Redstone is willing to tell you, we won't be able to find out anything."

As soon as she finished speaking, the temperature in the office dropped to freezing point. Sophia dared not look at Felix's cold face and left without saying a word.

After Sophia left, Felix stared at the documents for a long time before finally picking up his phone to make a call.

"Help me investigate a person."

In MY FASHION, during the morning meeting, Faith noticed that Gianna seemed distracted several times. After the meeting, she immediately went to find her.

"Did you fight with Felix? You seem off today. You've never been like this before."

Gianna shook her head. "It's nothing. Maybe I'm just a bit tired lately."

"If you're really tired, take a few days off. After all, MY FASHION still needs you to manage it," said Faith.

"Okay, I understand. By the way, regarding your father's situation, if you want to ease up his case, I can..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Faith interrupted her.

"No need. You don't have to provide any leniency documents. Just handle it normally."

"Alright. Back to work then."

After Faith left, Gianna contemplated for a long time before finally making up her mind to call Scorpio.

As soon as the call connected, Scorpio's slightly cold voice came through.

"Iris, calling me early in the morning, have you thought this through?"
