Chapter 207
Chloe greeted, "Belle, what's up? You look really pale."
Bella forced a smile, and replied, "I'm fine, just tired from work."
Chloe looked worried, and said, "Work never ends, but your health is more important. Don't overdo it."
Bella nodded, sounding a bit dismissive, "Okay, I'll head back now."
Chloe replied, "Alright."
After Bella left, Chloe went to the restroom, touched up her makeup, and smiled at the mirror.
To her, Bella and Gianna were just tools.
A few minutes later, Chloe returned to the venue, sat next to Leah, and smiled faintly.
Everyone was praising Leah.
Someone flattered, "Chloe is amazing. I heard the grad program she applied to only accepted two people, and she was the top pick!"
Another praised, "I wish my daughter was as great as Chloe!"
One suggested, "Leah, what do you think of my son? Maybe we should set them up?"
Chloe kept her head down, looking shy.
Leah glanced at the silent Lauren and Bella beside her, feeling smug. Bella used to outshine Chloe, but now, with such a scandal, Bella could never compare to Chloe again.
Leah smiled, and replied, "Chloe is still young. Young people today like to choose their own partners. We're too old to interfere."
Someone agreed, "True, but we can introduce them another day."
As they chatted, the big screen showing Chloe's achievements suddenly went black, then lit up again. This time, it showed a dimly lit video.
Everyone was stunned. Someone noticed the video showed a man and a woman, and the woman was clearly Bella.
They were in a private room, with Bella discussing business. The man kept trying to touch her inappropriately, and Bella endured it to secure the contract.
Bella's face turned extremely pale, and she stood frozen.
Kimberly was furious, saying, "Who played this? Turn it off now!"
The staff quickly unplugged the power.
The screen went black, but people were already whispering.
The Redstone family looked grim, feeling humiliated.
Kimberly glared at Lauren, and scolded, "This is the daughter you raised!"
Lauren, who had been silent, finally exploded, looking angrily at Natalie.
Lauren complained, "Natalie, I never wronged the Redstone family. When Gianna was born, the master said she would bring ruin if she stayed, and you all decided to send her away. I didn't object!"
Lauren continued, "Later, you all ostracized me because of this, and I didn't say anything. I just focused on raising Bella. In that video, it was clearly that disgusting old man harassing Belle. Your first reaction wasn't to go after him but to think Bella was disgraceful! What kind of family is this?"
Lauren added, "And you say I raised a good daughter. Let me tell you, Julian is the son you raised! We've been married for years, and he cheated on me with his secretary, who is also my niece! It's disgusting!"
Lauren sneered, "Do you know why he didn't come today? He's busy with his lover!"
Lauren's words shocked everyone.
People were stunned, then started whispering.
Kimberly was so angry that she fainted.
The scene turned chaotic, with everyone except Lauren and Bella rushing to help.
Someone yelled for help, "Call a doctor!"
Peter addressed the crowd, "I'm sorry, but my mother's fainted, we can't treat you any longer. Please finish your dinner before leaving. We need to take her to the hospital. We apologize and will invite you again to apologize."
Faith glanced at Gianna, who had her head down, and sneered, "Your mom sure protects Bella, but she's blind to what's really valuable."
Gianna slowly raised her head, her eyes emotionless, and said, "What a boring farce. I shouldn't have come."
She stood up and walked away.
Faith was momentarily stunned, then quickly caught up.
Faith asked anxiously, "Gianna, I'm sorry. Are you still upset about Lauren?"
Gianna didn't stop, her expression indifferent, and replied, "No, I just feel like today was a waste of time."
Seeing no sadness on her face, Faith finally relaxed.
Just as she was about to speak, Felix suddenly appeared.
Felix asked, "Are you okay?"
Gianna nodded and said, "I'm fine, just a bit hungry."
Felix said, "I'll take you to eat."
Gianna replied, "Okay."
Felix nodded at Faith, then took Gianna's hand and left.
Once in the car, Felix turned to her.
Felix suggested, "If you're upset, you can talk about it."
Gianna saw the concern in his eyes and couldn't help but smile.
Gianna remarked, "I'm really fine. I stopped caring about the Redstone family a long time ago."
She had long been disappointed in the Redstone family, so nothing they did now could affect her.
Felix asked "Alright, what do you want to eat tonight?"
Gianna suggested, "Steak, it's been a while."
Felix agreed, "Okay."
Felix started the car and headed to a private restaurant in Dawnridge.
Gianna looked at the passing street scenes outside the window, feeling at peace. Although the Redstone family didn't like her, she had friends and a lover who cared for her, and that was enough.
When Julian arrived at the hospital, he was slapped by the just-awakened Natalie.
Kimberly warned, "Control your wife and daughter! Or don't blame me for disciplining them!"
Julian assured her, "Natalie, I've heard about what happened. I'll make sure to discipline Lauren and Bella. Don't be angry."
Kimberly sneered, her eyes full of anger, "Our family has never been so humiliated. You better cut ties with that woman outside, or don't blame me for disowning you!"
Julian was silent for a moment, then spoke with difficulty, "I'm afraid I can't."
Kimberly's eyes widened, and asked, "What do you mean? Are you trying to anger me to death?"
Julian insisted, "No, Natalie, listen to me."
Kimberly replied, "Fine, speak. I want to hear what reason you have that I can accept!"
Julian sighed and revealed, "Daisy gave me a son."
Kimberly responded, "What?"
Kimberly was truly agitated, but more joyful than shocked, and asked, "Are you serious?"
Julian had no son, and this had troubled her for years. But since Lauren never got pregnant, she gradually lost concern. Luckily, Peter had a son, so at least the family wouldn't be without an heir.
Peter and Leah's faces also changed, showing no joy, only anxiety.
If Julian really had a son, the family business wouldn't go to their son in the future.

Julian nodded and immediately called Daisy, asking her to bring the child over.
Meanwhile, after calming down, Lauren and Bella also drove to the hospital.

Seeing the child beside Daisy, Lauren was stunned.
