Chapter 415

Deanna looked a bit troubled, but Rebecca winked at her and smiled. "Deanna, since she wants to buy this store, you should call your general manager. Otherwise, if your general manager blames you later, wouldn't you be wronged?"

After hesitating for a few seconds, Deanna finally nodded. "Alright."

General Manager Tony Hatfield immediately sent someone over with the contract upon hearing that someone wanted to buy the store.

"Miss Redstone, including all the clothing, the total is 50 million dollars. Please check it, and if there are no other issues, you can sign here," Deanna said.

Hearing the figure of 50 million dollars, Bella's expression changed. Although Thomas had told her that the card he gave her had no limit, she wasn't sure if he would be angry about her spending so much all of a sudden.

Rebecca, noticing her hesitation, quickly said, "Are you overacting and can't afford this amount?"

Bella gritted her teeth and gave Rebecca a cold look. " I'll sign right now!"

"If you don't have the money, don't pretend. At most, I'll just tell the ladies and socialites at Thundertop about today's incident as a joke at the next party," Rebecca retorted.

Hearing this, Bella's hesitation turned into determination, and she immediately signed her name.

She was now the girlfriend of the president of Vertex Holdings Group; she wouldn't let anyone laugh at her!

Soon, 50 million dollars were paid from the card.

As she received the contract, she sneered and looked at Constance and Rebecca with contempt. "Now, do you see if I have the ability to buy this store?"

Constance nodded. "Yes, Miss Redstone indeed has the ability. We were wrong."

"Get out of my store immediately!"

Constance smiled and pulled Rebecca away.

Just as they reached the door, Bella's icy voice sounded from behind, "Wait! You haven't apologized yet!"

Constance and Rebecca both turned around, their faces full of confusion.

"Apologize? Miss Redstone, we never said we would apologize to you." Constance sneered.

Bella was taken aback. They indeed never said they would apologize, but she subconsciously thought that as long as she bought the store, they would apologize for their previous behavior.

"You hit me in my store. If you don't apologize and let me slap you back, I'll have to hand over the surveillance footage to the police and let them handle it!"

Constance squinted and smiled, with no trace of fear in her eyes. "Miss Redstone, feel free."

She thought to herself, 'The surveillance footage must have been destroyed by now.'

Bella didn't expect Constance to be so ungrateful and said coldly, "Wait to be detained!"

"Then I'll wait for Miss Redstone to call the police to arrest me." After speaking, Constance turned and swaggered away with Rebecca.

Bella stared at their backs until they disappeared around the corner, then withdrew her cold gaze.

She looked at Deanna coldly. "You, and that sales assistant who distorted the truth, pack your things and get out! You're fired!"

Deanna's expression was calm. "Miss Redstone, we will leave immediately, but we are employees of Mr. Hatfield. It seems Miss Redstone doesn't have the authority to fire us."

After the two left, Bessie ran up to Bella. "Miss Redstone, this store is yours now. Do you plan to continue running it as a clothing store, or do you have other plans?"

Bella's mind stirred at her words.

She was also a designer. Now that she had taken over this store, she could turn her designs into products and sell them.

Although she hadn't drawn any designs in recent years, she could definitely pick it up again.

Wasn't Constance still a fashion designer?

She would completely defeat her!

"Continue selling clothes. You can take a break for a while. I'll contact you when the store reopens," Bella said.

Bessie was delighted to hear this and immediately added Bella on Facebook. After copying the surveillance footage for Bella, she left happily.

Bella didn't stay long either. She closed the store and drove away.

On the other side, Constance and Rebecca couldn't help but laugh out loud after leaving the mall.

"I really want to see Bella's face when she finds out this mall has the worst performance in all of Thundertop!" Rebecca said.

Constance raised an eyebrow. "That day will come!"

"It's getting late. I'll take you home, and we can hang out another day."

"Okay."

When they returned to Golden Bay Villas, it was already past nine in the evening.

As Constance walked into the villa, she saw Felix sitting on the sofa reading documents.

She paused and frowned, "Mr. Clinton, why are you reading documents here instead of in the study?"

Felix looked up at her, his eyes like a calm deep pool, making Constance feel an unfathomable sensation.

"Didn't I tell you before to call me Felix?" he said.

Constance pressed her lips together. "Sorry, I'm still not used to it and forgot."

"It's okay. I'll remind you, and we have plenty of time to get used to it."

Facing his affectionate gaze, Constance's heart tightened, and she quickly lowered her head to hide her panic.

"Okay."

Felix put away the documents and stood up. "I'll go to the study. You should go to your bedroom."

"Felix, I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

For some reason, facing Felix's gaze, Constance suddenly felt nervous, her mind went blank, and she couldn't say a word of what she had prepared.

"Never mind, I'll tell you later."

"Alright."

After Felix left, Constance quickly returned to her bedroom, her face full of frustration.

She had planned to tell him she was willing to give their relationship another try, but when the words were about to come out, she couldn't say them.

Thinking about how she couldn't say a word in front of him just now, Constance felt very embarrassed. He must think she was acting strange.

After sulking for a while, Constance got up, took her pajamas, and went to the bathroom to shower.

When she came out of the shower, Felix had already finished his shower and was sitting on the bed reading a book in his pajamas.

His pajamas were quite conservative, with the buttons done up to the top, but his good physique made him look like a model.

Constance's gaze lingered on his pajama buttons for a few seconds, and then she quickly looked away, feeling self-conscious. She thought, 'What am I thinking? Why would I want to unbutton his pajamas? I wasn't this lustful before! Get a grip!'

Barely managing to control herself from looking at him, Constance cleared her throat and said, "I'm going to blow-dry my hair. It might disturb your reading."

Felix closed his book and looked at Constance, "I'll help you dry it."

"No need."

Seeing her avoiding his gaze, Felix couldn't help but smile.

As his lips curved up, his features became more animated, looking much better than when he was cold and distant. Constance's heart started to race again.

Felix was just too handsome.

Ever since she realized she had feelings for him, Constance found it increasingly difficult to resist his gentle and affectionate gaze.

"Constance, are you blushing?" Felix asked.
