Chapter 177: I'm Pregnant

Seeing Thomas's cold expression, Bella's heart sank.

"Aren't you happy?" she asked.

Thomas sneered, "Do you think I should be?"

Bella looked awkward, but before she could speak, Thomas added, "I'll schedule an abortion."

Bella went pale, staring at him in disbelief. "This is your child. How can you be so heartless?"

"If we bring this child into the world recklessly, he'll only suffer."

Bella instinctively covered her stomach and stepped back. "The fate of this child isn't up to you."

"What do you mean?"

"I already told Natalie."

Thomas's face darkened, glaring at Bella, "Bella, how dare you scheme against me!"

Bella raised an eyebrow and sneered, "If you hadn't walked into that room, this wouldn't have happened. Didn't you scheme against me too?"

He had walked into that room to make Natalie think he was a victim, hoping for more inheritance.

"You'll regret this!" Thomas warned.

"Who will regret it is still uncertain! With this child, your chances of winning are greater, aren't they?"

Thomas stayed silent, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, Lauren had just composed herself and saw Julian sneaking towards the back garden with a woman. She quickly followed them.

Staying at a distance, she couldn't hear their conversation. She saw them enter the gazebo, talk, and then the woman left.

Lauren didn't confront Julian. She decided to investigate secretly.

She knew all the guests but had never seen that woman before. The woman looked under thirty, and they seemed to know each other well.

Julian was in an awkward spot. Seeing Daisy at the party had scared him. Luckily, she didn't bring the baby, or everyone would know he was the father.

Daisy came to ask about his divorce plans. After sending her away, he couldn't shake his irritation.

The Redstone Group was unstable, and divorcing Lauren now would be foolish. He had to placate Daisy first.

That night, everyone in the Redstone family had their own concerns, just going through the motions at the party.

After Gianna and Felix left, Felix noticed Gianna's gloomy mood and said, "Today is your birthday, you should be happy."

Gianna smiled, "Who said I'm in a bad mood? I'm very happy."

Her relationship with the Redstone family had always been chaotic, but after tonight, she believed they wouldn't bother her anymore.

Felix took her hand, his warmth spreading through her, "The birthday party the Redstone family prepared is over, but the one I prepared is just beginning."

Gianna's eyes lit up with surprise, "What did you prepare?"

Felix had been quiet lately, and she thought he might just have Sophia buy her some jewelry as usual.

"Let's go home first," he said mysteriously.

Seeing Felix wasn't spilling the beans, Gianna didn't ask.

They quickly got back to the villa, and as soon as they entered, Felix covered Gianna's eyes.

"Close your eyes."

"Why all the mystery?"

"You'll see."

Felix led her to the sofa and whispered, "Don't open your eyes until I say so."

"Okay."

His footsteps faded, then returned.

Gianna heard him place something on the table, and then his cool voice saying, "Open your eyes now."

Gianna opened her eyes to see a bowl of pasta topped with bacon spelling out "Happy Birthday" on top, crooked and a bit ugly.

"Gianna, happy birthday!" Felix sang.

Looking at the simple pasta, Gianna asked, "Did you make this yourself?"

Felix nodded, "Yes, just take a bite. We still have plans."

Gianna picked up the pasta and found it was just one long pasta.

"Did you make this pasta yourself?"

Felix's ears turned red, and he looked away awkwardly, "I bought it."

Knowing him well, Gianna didn't expose him. She finished the pasta and put down her fork.

Afterward, Felix took her out again.

"Where are we going at this hour?" Gianna asked.

Felix glanced at her while driving, "Just trust me tonight."

They arrived at the most famous revolving restaurant in Dawnridge, on the sixty-sixth floor, offering a panoramic view of the city.

They took the elevator to the top floor, and a waiter greeted them.

"Mr. Clinton, everything is ready. Shall we start?"

Felix nodded, "Yes."

The entire restaurant was empty. The waiter led them to the best spot for the view and then left.

Soon, dishes started arriving, all of Gianna's favorites.

After a few bites, Felix said, "Look outside."

Gianna turned her head as a huge firework exploded, forming a heart with "Happy Birthday Gianna" inside.

Fireworks rose from various corners of the city, lighting up the night sky for a full half-hour.

Gianna's eyes widened in surprise. Each firework burst with "Happy Birthday Gianna," and it lasted for a full half hour.

Seeing those fireworks, Gianna felt heartache. They must have been very expensive.

As the last firework fell, the restaurant lights dimmed.

A waiter brought over a cake with a single candle. After placing it in front of Gianna, the waiter left.

"Make a wish,' Felix prompted.

In the candlelight, Felix's serious eyes were filled with love.

Gianna nodded, closed her eyes, and made a wish.

When she opened her eyes, a necklace appeared before her.

"A birthday gift for you."

Gianna was stunned and instinctively reached out, murmuring, "The Eternal Love, isn't this necklace..."
