Chapter 80

Gianna turned around to leave, and the one-eyed man in the private room gritted his teeth, saying, "Felix, we each have our own territory. I bought this woman for five million from someone else. Shouldn't I be given an explanation if you take her away like this?"

Felix's expression was icy. "What kind of explanation do you want?"

"You give me five million, and we'll call it even for today's matter!"

Gianna turned her head and looked at him coldly, saying each word deliberately, "I can give you five million, but how do you compensate for the harm you've caused to Faith?"

The one-eyed man hesitated for a moment, then spoke, "You can pay me four million, and that'll do."

Seeing his disdainful expression, Gianna let go of Faith and walked slowly towardstoward him.

The one-eyed man clearly felt wary of her, a hint of fear flashing in his eyes. "What are you doing?!"

Gianna walked up to him, grabbed his hand, and twisted it forcefully.

The one-eyed man let out a scream of pain. Gianna coldly let go of his hand and stood up, saying, "You've lost a hand. I'll give you six million, and the extra one million will be compensation for you!"

Gianna turned around and walked to Faith's side, helping her up and leaving.

On the way to the hospital, Faith burst into tears in Gianna's arms. If Gianna hadn't come tonight, she knew exactly what she would have to endure.

After finally calming down, Faith looked at Gianna and said, "Gianna, thank you!"

Gianna gently patted her back and said softly, "Don't think about anything. It's all over now."
"Okay."

After a check-up at the hospital, it was fortunate that Faith didn't suffer any major injuries apart from some external skin wounds; she was just traumatized.

After the doctor left, Gianna sat down by the hospital bed.

"Faith, what exactly happened?"

Faith remained silent for a moment, then spoke coldly, "My dad went gambling again. This time, he lost five million. The other party said if he didn't come up with five million, they would chop off his hand. So, he sold me to save himself!"

Gianna furrowed her brow. "Didn't he know that you've earned tens of millions of dollars over the past few years?"

Faith shook her head. "I didn't tell him. Otherwise, he would definitely take it away for gambling. I don't want him to know about that money, and I won't give it to him!"

Watching Faith's determined expression, Gianna felt a pang of heartache.

In the past, Faith had a happy and fortunate family. If it weren't for her father's gambling addiction, the Walton family wouldn't have gone bankrupt, and her mother wouldn't have left her father and left.

"It's right that you didn't tell him, Faith. Actually, I've been wanting to ask you, do you have any plans to completely cut ties with your father?"

A hint of surprise flashed in Faith's eyes as she looked up at Gianna.

"I have thought about it, but I also know that unless I go somewhere where no one knows me, I will always live in his shadow."

"He knows that gambling is illegal, and he sold you for money!"

Faith bit her lip, understanding what Gianna meant.

She closed her eyes, her voice trembling slightly. "I need to think about this."

If they really sent her dad away, she would be much relieved, at least not having to worry about debt collectors coming after her.

But she also didn't know if she would regret it one day.

Gianna nodded. "Okay, take your time to think. You can also move away and ignore any news about him in the future."

"Alright, I got it, Gianna. You've been busy all night, go get some rest, I can handle it myself."

Seeing that Faith's emotions had stabilized, Gianna didn't stay any longer.

Back at home, when she saw Felix sitting in the living room waiting for her, Gianna felt guilty.

"Clinton, you'd better lie down with your leg."

Felix looked at her coldly and sneered. "If you really cared about my health, you wouldn't have left without telling me anything, Gianna. Do you know how dangerous tonight was?!"

Gianna pursed her lips. "I thought I could handle it myself."

"What if there were more people tonight? Can you handle a dozen, a hundred people? Even if you are skilled, your physical abilitiesy haves its limits!"

Seeing Felix's worries beneath his cold expression, Gianna lowered her gaze, resembling a child who had done something wrong.

"Clinton, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I was afraid you would worry."

"Should I thank you then?"

When Felix heard that she went alone to face a dozen men, he was so angry that he wanted to drag her back and beat her up, so she would never dare to face such danger alone again.

After a moment of silence, Gianna secretly glanced at Felix.

He still had anger on his face, but when he noticed Gianna's gaze, his icy stare swept towardstoward her.

"Clinton, I'm sorry for making you worry, but it's already late. Let's get some rest, we still have work in the morning."

"Don't let this happen again!"

Gianna didn't dwell on this matter any further. She spoke up, "I'll transfer six million to your account later. As for the money for the Angel's Tears, I don't have that much for now. I'll pay you back when I have enough."

Felix's face instantly turned extremely cold. She was calculating everything with him!

"Do whatever you want!"

He didn't look at her again and directly wheeled away.

It was not until his figure disappeared from sight that Gianna finally let out a sigh of relief and transferred six million to Felix's account using her phone.
She did not want to owe him anymore, otherwise there would be a day when she could not repay him.

The next morning, Gianna bought breakfast and went to the hospital to visit Faith.

Just as she arrived at the door of the ward, she heard Faith's furious and frantic voice from inside.

"I said I don't want to see you, can't you just leave?!"
