Chapter 166: Entering the Wrong Room

As Felix appeared at the doorway, fully dressed, everyone in the bedroom turned to look, stunned.

Bella's face went pale, and she started trembling.

"Felix, weren't you supposed to be in the bathroom?!" she asked.

Felix's eyes flashed coldly, and his voice was icy as he asked back, "Why should I be in the bathroom?"

Just then, the bathroom door opened, and a man wrapped in a towel walked out, his wet hair dripping and a faint smile on his lips.

Seeing the unexpected crowd, Thomas looked surprised, "Ximena, Felix, Gianna, why are you in my room?"

Ximena snapped out of it and gritted her teeth, "This is Felix's room!"

Thomas frowned, "Isn't this the third floor?"

"This is the second floor!"

Ximena's face turned livid with anger and panic. She had planned for Felix and Bella to be together to break up Gianna and Felix, but Thomas ended up in Felix's room!

Bella realized what had happened and pushed Gianna away, choking up, "Ximena, I never thought something like this would happen in the Clinton family. I don't want to live anymore!"

With that, Bella jumped from the second floor!

Ximena was so frightened that it took her several seconds to remember to call the servants.

"Hurry, go check Bella..." she said.

If Bella died in the Clinton family, Ximena would be in big trouble.

Since the second floor wasn't very high, Bella wasn't seriously injured, just broke one leg.

Bella didn't really want to commit suicide; she just wanted to use this to her advantage. After all, she had already lost her virginity, and there was no turning back.

Although Thomas wasn't as good as Felix, Natalie had left Harmony Garden to him. Marrying him wouldn't be a bad choice.

After calling a doctor to bandage Bella's leg, Ximena called Natalie to explain the situation and also called Connor back.

Bella also called Julian, crying as she recounted what had happened.

Julian and Lauren quickly arrived. Seeing Bella's condition, Lauren immediately started crying and angrily said, "Is the Clinton family bullying us?! Bella told me she was just coming for a meal, and now this happened!"

Seeing Gianna sitting calmly to the side, Lauren was so angry she wanted to slap her. If it weren't for her, Bella wouldn't have encountered such a thing!

But the urgent matter now was to make Thomas take responsibility. She looked at Thomas coldly, "Thomas, how do you plan to resolve this?!"

Thomas had a smile on his lips, but his eyes were icy.

"Thomas, when I returned to my room, Bella was already lying naked on the bed. I thought she was a maid trying to climb into my bed. Instead of questioning me, you should ask Bella why she, as a guest, was lying naked in my bed. But I did enter the wrong room, so it seems Bella initially intended to seduce Felix."

Hearing his words, Lauren and Bella's faces turned extremely ugly.

Bella cried, "No matter what, you did that to me. If you don't take responsibility, I'll call the police!"

Thomas sneered, "Suit yourself!"

He was about to leave when Natalie's angry voice suddenly came from the doorway.

"Thomas, is this how I raised you?!" she snapped.

Thomas paused and turned to look at Natalie. "Grandma, why are you here?"

He didn't know that Ximena had contacted Natalie. It seemed today's matter wouldn't be easily resolved.

Natalie walked into the living room, her face full of anger. She glared at Thomas, then turned to Ximena, "What happened?!"

Ximena quickly explained, leaving out the part where she drugged Felix, only mentioning that Thomas entered the wrong room and ended up with Bella.

Thomas sneered, "Aunt, aren't you forgetting to mention you drugged me? Otherwise, I wouldn't have entered the wrong room!"

A flicker of guilt crossed Ximena's face, and she gritted her teeth, "What nonsense are you talking about?! When did I ever drug you?!"

Thomas nodded, his smile cold, "You meant to drug Felix, but it ended up being me."

Everyone's expressions changed.

Lauren, furious, lunged at Ximena, "Ximena, how dare you harm Bella like this! I'll fight you!"

A servant stepped in to stop her.

Julian grabbed her and said coldly, "Aren't you embarrassed enough?! Go comfort Bella. I'll handle this!"

Lauren, though unwilling, knew she couldn't resolve the matter herself. She shot Ximena a resentful look before turning back to Bella, wiping her tears.

Knowing Bella had relations with Thomas, Julian wasn't angry. He was pleased, seeing potential benefits.

He looked at Natalie, feigning anger, "Natalie, my daughter Bella, whom I've cherished for so many years, experienced this in the Clinton family. You must give the Redstone family an explanation!"

Although Natalie didn't like Bella, given the situation, there was no other solution but to marry her.

She looked at Thomas with disappointment, "Prepare yourself to get engaged to Bella and marry her in a month!"

Thomas's eyes were cold, and he said expressionlessly, "I don't agree!"

Natalie was so angry her chest hurt, "If you don't agree, then why did you do it before? If you don't agree, you don't need to acknowledge me as your grandmother anymore!"

"Grandma, I'm a victim too, and I won't marry someone I don't love!"

Natalie looked at him coldly, "If you didn't want to marry someone you don't love, you shouldn't have touched her in the first place. Now that you have, you must take responsibility! If your parents were still alive, they would also ask you to marry Bella!"

At the mention of his parents, Thomas's eyes suddenly reddened. He lowered his head, his hands clenched at his sides.

After a long while, he finally spoke, "I understand. I will marry Bella."

With that, Thomas left directly.

Hearing this, Bella, who had been anxious, finally breathed a sigh of relief. At least she could marry Thomas, so tonight wasn't a total loss.

After the Redstone family left, only Felix, Gianna, Ximena, and Natalie remained in the living room.

Seeing Natalie's cold expression, Ximena felt uneasy.

"Natalie, about tonight..." Ximena tried to explain, but Natalie interrupted her.

"Come here."

Natalie looked at her calmly, her tone revealing no emotion.

Ximena walked forward nervously, and as soon as she reached Natalie, she was slapped hard.

The crisp sound of the slap echoed in the living room. Ximena held her face in disbelief, not expecting Natalie to hit her.

"Ximena, I warn you, don't ever engage in such disgraceful behavior again, or I won't let you off!"

With that, Natalie turned and left without another glance.

Ximena was filled with anger but didn't dare say anything to Natalie. After all, even Connor was always respectful to her.

She turned to Felix, suppressing her anger, "You should leave too!"

Felix looked at her coldly, "Ximena, I don't want to see something like this happen again."

Without waiting for Ximena to respond, Felix pulled Gianna away.

Connor, having heard about the incident on his way back, entered the living room to find Ximena crying on the sofa. He was furious and said coldly, "How dare you cry? Drugging your own son, how could you do such a thing?!"
