Chapter 134

"What's that?" Gianna wondered what Faith would tell her.

"Wasn't there a celebration dinner for Bella by the Redstone family tonight? It turns out Bella gave Elia's fake signature as a gift, and it was discovered to be fake by the recipient. She was completely losing face!"

Gianna's eyes flashed with surprise. She truly didn't expect Bella to give a fake signature as a gift. 'Wasn't she afraid of being exposed?' she thought.

"It's indeed embarrassing," said Gianna.

"If I had known tonight would be so interesting, I would have attended," Faith continued.

Gianna couldn't help but smile and asked, "Have you finished your work?"

After a few seconds of silence, the other end hung up the phone.

Gianna put down her phone, turned off the lights, and went to sleep directly.

In Gianna's view, the Redstone family's affairs had nothing to do with her.

Unexpectedly, the next morning, just as she was about to leave for work, Julian came to find her.

Gianna looked at him indifferently. "Mr. Redstone, what can I do for you? I have to go to work soon."

Julian frowned, somewhat displeased with Gianna's attitude, but he restrained himself from scolding her. "Gianna, I heard you and Mr. Clinton have divorced?"

"Yes, what about it?" Gianna's voice was unfriendly.

"Now that you're divorced, you should move back home. Since not many people know about your marriage to him, I'll have someone introduce you to a few gentlemen later."

Gianna looked at him in surprise, not expecting Julian to say such a thing. "I won't return to the Redstone family."

Julian's face turned cold. "Stop this nonsense! Now that you're divorced from Felix, if you don't return to the Redstone family and keep living outside, what do you think you're doing?"

Gianna's eyes showed no warmth. "Mr. Redstone, I'll say it again. The Redstone family has never been my home, and you shouldn't think you can control my life."

Julian's face stiffened. "I'm doing this for your good!"
"Is it really for my good, or do you see me as a tool to bring benefits to the Redstone Group? You should be clear about that inwardly!" Gianna couldn't hold it anymore.

"What do you mean? I'm your father. I care for you!" Julian shoots back.

Gianna chuckled. "How many times have you hurt me in these years? Please don't come looking for me again in the future. Otherwise, your wife would probably like to know about the things you've done behind her back."

Julian's face suddenly turned grim, gritting his teeth. "What do you mean by that?"

However, Gianna didn't bother with Julian anymore and just left.

Even as Gianna's car disappeared from view, Julian still stood there and couldn't believe it. 'Did she know it?' he thought.

Julian had hidden it well, and he thought Gianna couldn't possibly know.

Gianna felt uneasy all morning because of Julian's visit.

After the meeting, Faith followed Gianna back to her office. "What's wrong with you this morning? Are you in a bad mood?"

Gianna shook her head. "No, do you need something from me?"

"Yes, about that batch of poor-quality fabrics from earlier, which caused MY FASHION to lose at least tens of millions. How do you plan to handle it?" Faith asked.

A coldness flickered in Gianna's eyes as she said, "Have the lawyer draft a document stating that MY FASHION's losses will be compensated from Hayden's year-end bonus. Get it signed by him at the hospital."

Faith furrowed her brows. "He probably won't sign that easily."

"Then just suspend his work directly." Gianna's voice was cold.

"Understood. I'll take care of it." Faith nodded.

Before noon, Hayden stormed into Gianna's office with the document in hand and slammed it on her desk. "Ms. Redstone, what do you mean by this?!"

Gianna remained calm, looking up at Hayden. "Your actions caused losses to the company. Isn't it normal for you to compensate?"

"I already explained at the hospital earlier that this is a problem with the procurement department, which has nothing to do with me!" Hayden tried to explain.

"You signed the document, and you handled the project. Do you think you can forget all responsibility with just an excuse? Mr. Walton, I run a company, not a charity," Gianna said, her gaze firm.

Gianna intended to make him pay back the money embezzled by him.

"I won't sign this document!" Hayden shouted as he looked away.

"Then you will be suspended for a while. When you're willing to compensate for the company's losses, you can come back," Gianna ordered.

Hayden was filled with anger, gritting his teeth. "Gianna, You're too out of line. Do you think I'm afraid of you?"

Gianna smiled faintly. "Of course, I know you're not afraid. If you're dissatisfied with this approach, we can resort to court."

As soon as she finished speaking, Hayden fell silent.

After a long while, Hayden locked his eyes on Gianna. "Gianna, you'll regret it!"

With that, Hayden turned and stormed out of the room.

Gianna's expression remained unchanged as she picked up the document and continued reading.

As the end of the workday approached, Felix called.

"Let's go back to Harmony Garden tonight. Grandma knows about our divorce." Felix's voice was upset as he spoke.

Gianna's hand holding the phone tightened involuntarily. Lowering her gaze, she replied, "Okay."

It was already past seven in the evening when the two returned to Harmony Garden.

Seeing Ximena and Connor in the living room, Gianna was somewhat surprised.

After all, when Gianna and Felix got married, neither of them had shown up from start to finish, indicating their lack of concern for Gianna.

Unexpectedly, now that they were divorced, Ximena and Connor were both present.

In addition to Ximena and Connor, Thomas was also there, sitting quietly next to Natalie, his face expressionless.

"Gianna, you're really divorced from Felix?" Natalie asked.

Gianna met Natalie's saddened gaze and nodded, "Yes."

Natalie's eyes were full of disappointment, and she let out a heavy sigh. "Felix isn't lucky enough to have you."

Before Natalie could finish her sentence, Ximena interrupted with a cold laugh, "It's for the best. Felix deserves better. I think that Bella is not bad, especially since she just won the national design competition recently."

Before Ximena could finish, Felix coldly interrupted, "Mom, I've said it before. My affairs don't need your concern!"

Ximena gritted her teeth, her eyes filled with anger and dissatisfaction. "You are my son; I worry about you."

"I will never be with Bella. Stop thinking about it!" Felix's words clearly upset Ximena.

"Are you trying to drive me to death?" Ximena shouted.

Natalie coldly looked at Ximena. "Enough, both of you! This is between Felix and Gianna. You shouldn't get involved in it."

Although Ximena was dissatisfied internally, she kept quiet due to Natalie's presence.

Ever since Natalie saw Felix hurting Gianna to protect Bella at the Resort, she knew their relationship wouldn't last long.

She thought Felix going to Maple Valley in the pouring rain to find Gianna would soften her, but she didn't expect the two to end their marriage quietly.

"All right, since you're already divorced, I won't advise you anymore. You've walked your path as long as you don't regret it. I called all of you here today for one more thing to announce," Natalie began.

"What is it?" Ximenat looked at Natalie, feeling a sense of foreboding.

"Thomas has returned. As a member of The Clinton family, I've decided to have him join the Clinton Group for learning," Natalie announced.

As soon as Natalie finished speaking, Ximena stood up abruptly. "I disagree!"

'If Thomas entered the Clinton Group, wouldn't he be competing with Felix for control of the Clinton Group in the future?' she thought. She would never agree to that.

Natalie looked at Ximena coldly, her tone indifferent. "I'm informing you, not seeking your opinion."

Ximena glanced at Thomas, who had been silent the whole time and gritted her teeth. "If you want Thomas to learn, I have no objections. But Felix has managed the Clinton Group for so many years. Suddenly letting Thomas come in to learn management would cause the shareholders not to accept him."

Natalie furrowed her brows, coldly saying, "Whether they accept it or not is not your concern. Don't forget that Thomas is also a part of the Clinton Group!"

If it weren't for Thomas's parents' untimely deaths, Connor wouldn't have taken over the Clinton Group.

Natalie looked at Felix, "Felix, what do you think about this?"
