Chapter 321

Ten minutes later, Felix stumbled up to Gianna, looking like he'd been through a tornado, with a bunch of Black Security dudes knocked out cold behind him.

Samuel was floored. These Black Security guys were top-notch, and they still got their butts handed to them by Felix.

Even the head honcho of Black Security would probably have a tough time with Felix.

Gianna's eyes went wide when she saw all the cuts and bruises on Felix, and she clenched her fists so hard her nails dug into her palms.

It wasn't until Felix was right in front of her that she managed to say, "You..."

Felix grabbed her hand and said, all chill, "Can you come with me now?"

Samuel looked like he was about to step in, but Gianna cut him off, "Samuel, he's already taken down the Black Security guys. I want to hear what he has to say."

"If anything goes south, call me right away," Samuel said, his eyes full of worry.

"Got it, I will."

Gianna got into the car with Felix, staring at him coolly. "Mr. Clinton, what do you want to say? Spit it out."

Felix felt a stab in his chest at her cold look.

After a few seconds, when Gianna was starting to get annoyed, Felix finally said in a low voice, "I don't know how you met Samuel, but you should watch out for him."

He couldn't spill all the beans about the key; it'd just put Gianna in more danger.

Gianna frowned, her eyes turning icy. "Mr. Clinton, Samuel wouldn't hurt me. Stop trying to stir up trouble."

Felix didn't expect her to think that way. Anger flashed in his eyes, and he said coldly, "Is that really what you think of me?"

Gianna smirked. "I don't know. I've never really understood you, Mr. Clinton, have I?"

Felix said, "Gianna, I'm looking out for you. A bunch of assassins have been sent from Thundertop after my family. Samuel showing up out of nowhere might mean something."

Gianna glared at him and asked, "You think Samuel has a hidden agenda? Then tell me, what does he want from me?"

Felix was at a loss for words. The Drake family was one of the big four in Thundertop, and Samuel was the third son. The Drake family was on the rise, and people were lining up to get in their good graces. They didn't need to go to such lengths. But this was about the key, so Felix had to tread carefully.

Seeing him silent, Gianna sneered, "If you can't say, then stop badmouthing him. Mr. Clinton, do you have anything else to say?"

With that, Gianna reached for the car door to leave.

The next second, Felix's big hand covered hers. "Gianna, if I told you he might be after the key, would you believe me?"

Gianna paused and looked back at Felix, who looked dead serious, and frowned. "Key?"

"Yeah, the Clinton family has a key. Thomas kidnapped my grandma and mom to find out where it was. The people behind him are from Thundertop! He vanished after running off to Thundertop."

Hearing this, Gianna's face changed, and she asked, "What's the key for? Why would they want it?"

Felix shook his head, "Grandma didn't spill the beans either. She just said the key's super important, so all those Thundertop families are gunning for it."

Gianna was quiet for a bit, then looked at Felix and said slowly, "This sounds like a big deal. Why are you telling me?"

Felix sighed, "I don't know if it's the right move or not. I just want you to watch out for Thundertop folks. Even if you think you know Samuel, you never really know what's in his heart. We don't know why he's really hanging around you."

"I trust him. He'd never hurt me," Gianna said firmly, her eyes full of trust.

A flicker of coldness crossed Felix's eyes. She trusted Samuel more than him, not even a hint of doubt.

"Whatever, I'm not letting you get close to any danger!" Felix's words were strong and clear. If it were before, Gianna might've been happy, but now she felt nothing.

She looked at Felix with a detached expression and said, "Mr. Clinton, thanks for the heads-up. But this is my business. Stay out of it."

Felix shouted, "Gianna! Don't be stubborn. I'm doing this for you!"

Gianna smiled calmly, "But I don't need it."

With that, she walked away.

Felix's aura turned icy. James, in the driver's seat, glanced in the rearview mirror and cautiously asked, "Mr. Clinton, should we send someone to keep an eye on Miss Redstone?"

Felix ordered, "Yeah, send two people, but keep it on the down-low. Let me know if anything happens."

"Got it."

After getting out of the car, Gianna slowly walked towards Samuel.

Samuel's eyes were full of worry. He only relaxed when he saw she was okay.

Samuel asked, "Gianna, what did Felix say to you? He didn't ask you to get back with him, did he?"

Gianna shook her head, not wanting to reveal Felix's suspicions about Samuel. "Nothing, Samuel. Let's head back."

On the way back, Gianna didn't say a word, staring out the window, lost in thought.

When the car stopped at Elm Bay, she unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to leave when Samuel called out to her. "Gianna, no matter what, we're always here for you. But I don't think Felix is right for you. Think it over."

Gianna was stunned for a moment, then said softly, "Samuel, I know. We're divorced, and it's over."

Seeing her serious expression, Samuel didn't push it. She still had feelings for Felix, so pushing more wouldn't help.

Samuel said, "Alright, get some rest. The bad stuff will pass soon."

"Okay."

After watching Samuel leave, Gianna walked into the villa, took a shower, watched some TV, and then went to sleep.

Meanwhile, in an abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city.

"Thomas, I found something while digging into Gianna!"

Thomas's expression was cold. "What is it?"

"Gianna's linked to a mercenary group called Twilight, but that's all I got. Couldn't find anything else."

Thomas's eyes twitched, and he gritted his teeth. "What? Spill everything you found!"

After listening to his subordinate, a sudden guess popped into Thomas's mind. The days Gianna was missing lined up with the days he and Mr. Moore set up Iris to take out Scorpio.

'Could Gianna be Iris?' Thomas thought.
