Chapter 327
Felix's eyes got all icy as he said, "Forget what I said about the key. Just act like I never brought it up."
Gianna scoffed, "You think I can just forget?"
Felix looked down at her, totally indifferent. "This ain't your problem. I only told you so you wouldn't get mixed up in it. At least this way, you can be more careful around Samuel."
Gianna shot back, "I already told you, Samuel won't hurt me."
Felix shrugged, "Then stop asking about the key. Or are you still hung up on me and worried?"
Gianna was taken aback, frowning. "You're overthinking it. I don't have any feelings for you."
"Then drop the key thing."
Felix didn't even glance at her again and started to walk away.
A few steps later, Raymond's angry voice rang out. "Felix, what did you do to the Musk Group?"
Felix turned just in time to dodge Raymond's incoming fist, his face turning cold. "I warned you, but you didn't listen."
Raymond sneered, "You think you can bankrupt the Musk Group? Not happening!"
"Instead of wasting time on me, figure out how to get those investors back on board." With that, Felix turned and walked into the Clinton Group.
Raymond glared at his back, eyes full of rage and hatred.
Gianna, who had seen the whole thing, felt uneasy, thinking the beef between Felix and Raymond might be about her.
She walked up to Raymond and asked, "Mr. Musk, is your fight with Mr. Clinton about me?"
Raymond looked at her, his eyes flickering, then he lowered his gaze. "Gianna, I'm sorry."
Gianna frowned. "Why are you apologizing?"
Raymond sighed, "I was the one who told Penelope about you and Felix not being divorced, and I told her to tell you."
Gianna was stunned, eyes wide with shock.
After a moment, she bit her lip and asked, "Why are you telling me this now?"
Her expression was cold, looking at Raymond like he was a stranger.
Raymond smiled bitterly. "Because I realized I was wrong. Even though you and Felix are separated, you don't seem happy."
Gianna avoided his gaze and said softly, "Felix hid this from me first. Even if it wasn't you, I would've found out eventually. I don't blame you, but I won't be around you anymore."
If Raymond had been upfront, she might've considered him a friend, but he used Penelope to spill the beans, clearly trying to break her and Felix up.
A woman who had just been with Felix for a short time knew about their undivorced status, which made Gianna more concerned.
Raymond knew this and used it without hesitation.
Raymond's eyes showed panic, and he quickly said, "Gianna, I admit what I did was low, but I really like you! And now that you're divorced from Felix, I'll stick around until you give me a chance."
Gianna's eyes flashed with impatience, and she said coldly, "Mr. Musk, I don't want to be around someone so scheming. Stay away from me."
"I won't give up!" Raymond's eyes were full of deep affection, his gaze unwavering.
"Suit yourself."
Gianna walked away, not seeing Raymond's gaze turn cold as he watched her leave.
For Gianna, Raymond nearly tanked the Musk Group, so there was no way he was giving up!
At 8 PM, in the swankiest private room of Royal Mirage.
Mitchell said, "Raymond, you and Felix are my good friends. I don't wanna get in the middle of your beef 'cause helping one of you means pissing off the other."
Plus, Mitchell thought Raymond was totally in the wrong this time.
No matter how much Raymond liked Gianna, he shouldn't have messed with her and Felix's relationship.
Raymond's face was stone-cold as he looked at Uriah, who hadn't said a word. "You not gonna help me either?"
Uriah looked awkward, and after a bit, he said slowly, "Raymond, if the Harris Group throws in $30 billion, we could go under. Why don't you just apologize to Felix? He won't be too harsh."
Raymond sneered and downed his drink in one gulp. "Fine, after all these years, if you won't help me, then we're done!"
With that, Raymond stormed out.
Uriah wanted to go after him but was stopped by Mitchell.
Uriah asked, "Mitchell, you really wanna fall out with Raymond?"
Mitchell's expression was indifferent. "If you go after him, you got $30 billion to lend him?"
Uriah's face stiffened, and he said nothing.
Mitchell continued, "This is his mess. He not only screwed up but also tried to use our friendship to make us risk the Harris Group and the Lisa Group to bail him out. Don't you think that's too much?"
Uriah rubbed his nose and, after thinking about it, realized it was indeed too much.
Mitchell said, "As long as he apologizes to Felix, the Musk Group will get through this. If he doesn't, the Musk Group's fate is none of our business."
Uriah sighed, "It's pointless. After all these years, it comes to this over a woman!"
Mitchell gave him a cold look and asked, "Didn't you almost fall out with Felix over Jasmine?"
Uriah, feeling called out, said angrily, "I was played by Jasmine back then!"
Mitchell retorted, "What's the difference?"
The Musk Group sold off a bunch of assets and barely avoided bankruptcy, but it became a second-rate family in Dawnridge, no longer in the same league as the Clinton Group, the Harris Group, or the Lisa Group.
Upon hearing this news, Felix's expression remained indifferent. "Got it. No need to target the Musk Group anymore."
James was silent for a few seconds and then said softly, "Mr. Clinton, since your relationship with Mr. Musk is already shot, I suggest you let the Musk Group go under. Otherwise, he might bounce back one day."
As soon as he finished speaking, Felix gave him a cold look. "You teaching me how to do this?"
James quickly shook his head. "That's not what I meant. I just hope you'll think it over."
Felix said firmly, "I've thought it over. You can leave now."
Seeing that Felix had made up his mind, James didn't push further and could only hope silently that the Musk Group wouldn't make a comeback. Otherwise, the Clinton Group would have a serious rival.
After James left, Felix put down the documents in his hand, his face cold.
James wasn't wrong. If it were anyone else, Felix would've crushed them completely. But Raymond had been a friend for years, so he showed some mercy.
However, the Clinton Group had been planning to enter Thundertop for years, and now the plan was almost complete. Felix wouldn't give Raymond a chance to surpass the Clinton Group!
