Chapter 211

Thomas glared at Felix and said, "Thundertop Liberty General Hospital is the best. Why not go there?"

Felix's face was cold. Jonah was at Thundertop Liberty General, and he might run into Gianna.

Felix insisted, "Thundertop Valleyview Regional is good too, and it's backed by the Clinton Group. I'll take Grandma there."

Thomas sneered, "You don't trust me?"

Felix replied, "I didn't say that."

Thomas accused, "If something happens to Natalie, can you handle it? Ignoring the best hospital for Valleyview? I think you don't want her to wake up!"

Felix shot back, "I heard you bought dozens of chickens for Natalie's health. If her fainting is because of those chickens, don't expect me to go easy on you!"

Thomas mocked, "Felix, since our parents died, there's been no feelings between us!"

Felix said angrily, "Finally, you admit it."

Thomas's eyes were filled with hatred.

Thomas spat, "If your parents were killed and you couldn't avenge them, you'd get it!"

He had tried to forget Dawnridge, but his parents' killers wouldn't leave him alone.

So, he wouldn't back down anymore!

Sensing the tension, Gianna said, "Grandma's health is the priority. The helicopter will be here soon. Let's move her outside."

As they moved Natalie, Gianna checked on her and frowned, wondering, 'Why had Natalie's condition worsened so quickly?'

If she wasn't treated soon, she'd be in danger.

When no one was looking, Gianna slipped a pill into Natalie's mouth.

She pretended to go to the bathroom but went to the kitchen. The chicken soup Natalie hadn't touchedwas still there.

She filled some plastic bags with the soup and put them in her bag, leaving the kitchen calmly.

When she heard about Natalie's fainting, she thought of the chicken soup. Even though the tests were normal, something felt off.

With Natalie's weak condition, there had to be an issue. Besides the chicken soup, there must be other harmful foods!

Soon, the helicopter arrived.

After getting Natalie on board, Felix got on, and Gianna followed.

Gianna said, "I'm coming with you."

Felix frowned, and replied, "No need, I can handle it."

Gianna insisted, "I'm coming."

Felix was silent for a few seconds, then nodded, "Alright."

Watching the helicopter take off, Thomas called his secretary, Jason.

Thomas ordered, "Start the operation."

Jason hesitated, "Thomas, are you sure? It could destroy the Clinton Group."

Thomas's smile was cold, and replied, "That's the goal."

If he couldn't have it, he'd rather destroy it.

Jason complied, "Got it."

Three hours later, as the helicopter landed at Dawnridge Valleyview Regional, Daniel got the news.

An assistant reported, "Mr. Getty, Felix is here because of Natalie."

Daniel, sitting in his wheelchair, coughed and said, "Keep an eye on Jonah. Don't let him meet Gianna."

The assistant replied, "Got it!"

Meanwhile, in a VIP ward at Dawnridge Summit Medical Hospital, Jonah lay on his side, staring out the window.

His agent, Kyle, handed him an orange, saying, "Jonah, have some fruit."

Since learning that Daniel had forced him to tell Gianna he didn't save her, Jonah had been distant, spending his days staring out the window and barely talking.

Jonah refused, "I don't want it."

Kyle sighed and advised, "If you want to explain to Gianna, you need to get better first."

Jonah closed his eyes then replied, "I want to be alone. Please leave."

Kyle put down the orange and quietly left.

Once alone, Jonah opened his eyes. Kyle and Daniel were wrong. He didn't want to see Gianna. Knowing she was safe was enough. He just needed time to control his feelings and stop thinking about her.

After Natalie was admitted to the hospital, tests showed nothing. All her indicators were normal, but she wasn't waking up.

The doctors suggested a nutritional injection

 to maintain her health.

The doctor advised, "Felix, I recommend transferring her to Liberty General Hospital. Their equipment is more advanced."

Felix's face was icy, and ordered, "Arrange the transfer immediately."

With Natalie still unconscious, he couldn't worry about running into Jonah. He called Daniel to keep an eye on Jonah and make sure he didn't appear in front of him and Gianna.

At Liberty General Hospital, the results were the same as Valleyview.

Felix's face darkened, and said impatiently, "Useless! Can't even figure out why she fainted!"

The doctors trembled but didn't argue.

Gianna suggested, "Felix, how about I contact the doctor who treated your leg before?"

Felix nodded and suggested, , "Alright. You're tired too. I'll have someone take you to rest. I'll stay with Natalie."

Gianna agreed, "Okay."

Gianna called Garrett, who was in Thundertop for a seminar. She told him about Natalie's fainting, and he agreed to come immediately.

Half an hour later, Garrett arrived to examine Natalie. His expression grew serious. He checked under her tongue and found a pill. Without it, Natalie might have already died.

He stood up and said, "Felix, Natalie's condition is complex. I need to prepare some medicine."

Felix frowned, "How long?"

Garrett replied, "About a day."

Felix was about to demand half a day when Gianna spoke, "Garrett, hurry and prepare the medicine. Let me see you out."

Watching Gianna left with Garrett, Felix's eyes were icy. Despite their act, their gestures showed they were familiar with each other.

Outside the ward, Garrett whispered, "Gianna, this illness is tough. You might need to handle it."

Before he finished, Gianna slipped something into his hand.
