Chapter 334

Felix's face went stone-cold, and he snapped, "I'll get someone on it right now."

He hung up and immediately called James. "Gianna vanished last night. Check the surveillance. I need to know where she is in an hour!"

James got back to him pretty quick. "Mr. Clinton, the footage shows Miss Redstone was grabbed by some dude in black last night. She vanished from the cameras, and we got no clue where she is."

Felix's eyes were ice. "Find her. Now."

"We're on it," James replied.

By noon, they still had zilch on Gianna, and Felix's mood was getting darker by the minute.

Meanwhile, the Redstone family waltzed into a private room at Grandview Restaurant, all smiles.

Daisy brought Bonnie and Jared along. Lauren's face twisted when she saw them, but knowing Jared would soon be out of the picture, she kept her cool.

Bonnie wasn't the simple person she used to be. She dressed sharp, dyed her hair, and rocked a trendy look, making her seem way younger.

At first, when she found out Daisy was fooling around with Julian and had a kid, she was pissed and felt guilty towards Lauren. But after meeting Jared, she softened up, and all that gratitude towards Lauren went out the window.

Bonnie sneered, "Lauren, Bella is a single mom; it's going to be tough for her in the future, right?"

Lauren already had no respect for Bonnie. Hearing it, she lost it and slapped her hard.

The slap echoed through the room, leaving everyone stunned. No one expected Lauren to hit Bonnie like that.

Daisy snapped out of it and pulled Bonnie behind her, glaring at Lauren. "Apologize to my mom!"

Lauren sneered back, "Apologize? To her? She's a country bumpkin. You think she deserves it?"

Daisy gritted her teeth. When she first came to Dawnridge, Lauren looked down on her and stuck her in a job at the Redstone Group.

Back then, she swore she'd make Lauren pay for looking down on her. Now she had, but she didn't expect Lauren to slap her mom!

Daisy said coldly, "Lauren, you are so mean! If word gets out, it's gonna hurt your and Bella's rep, right?"

Lauren didn't flinch at Daisy's threat. "Go ahead, spread it around. As long as you're not scared of people finding out you are a homewrecker."

"You!" Daisy turned to Julian, who was just standing there, and whined, "Julian, you're just gonna let me get treated like this? What about all those promises you made?"

The Redstones' faces soured. Daisy was Lauren's niece, but now she was flirting with Julian in front of everyone.

Even though Kimberly and Henry liked Jared, they still looked down on Daisy and Bonnie and had no plans to let Daisy marry into the family. So they just watched and didn't back Daisy up.

Just as Julian was about to say something, Bella cut in with a smile, "Daisy, my mom was just emotional. Bonnie's comment set her off."

Daisy gritted her teeth. "Does being mad give her the right to hit my mom?"

Bella narrowed her eyes and said slowly, "You should thank my mom. That slap was a lesson for Bonnie. If she pisses off some big shot in Dawnridge later, it won't just be a slap."

Daisy was about to fire back, but Julian jumped in, "Enough. Your mom was wrong too. Let's just go eat and not waste time."

Right then, Jared, who'd been quiet with his head down, suddenly charged at Bella. "You bad woman, teaming up with Lauren to bully my mom and grandma. I'll crash into you!"

The Redstones were stunned, their faces turning grim. If Jared hit Bella, it would be a disaster!

"Jared!"

"Bella!"

Out of nowhere, a man appeared, grabbed Jared by the collar, and tossed him aside.

Jared flew through the air and hit the ground hard.

The pain knocked him out cold without even a scream!

Daisy went pale and rushed to Jared. Seeing his eyes closed, she yelled, "Call 911! I'm calling the cops!"

Bella, still shaken, sneered, "Call the cops for what? Your son almost hit me. Shouldn't I be the one calling the police?"

Daisy shot her a cold look. "You're fine, aren't you?! If anything happens to Jared, I won't let you off!"

Julian shouted, "Bella! Your bodyguard went too far!"

Jared was Julian's son. Seeing him knocked out made him furious, but thinking of the shares in Bella's hands, he held back his anger.

Bella raised an eyebrow and said fearlessly, "Dad, if I lose the baby, the 10% shares of the Clinton Group will have nothing to do with our family. What's worse, Jared getting thrown or us losing those shares?"

Julian, valuing the 10% shares, sighed and said, "Jared is just a kid. Be more careful next time. This shouldn't happen again."

Bella felt Julian was biased. If she hadn't been prepared, she'd be the one on the ground now.

Bella replied, "I get it. You should comfort Daisy. She's Jared's mom, and she must be really upset!"

Daisy, fuming at Bella's words, was about to speak when Julian signaled her to stop.

She bit her lip and held back, saying nothing.

After all, they were still banking on the 10% shares from Bella's baby. Once they got the shares, they could deal with Bella and Lauren later!

After all the drama, no one felt like eating. They quickly finished and left.

On the way back to their place, Lauren looked at Bella and said, "Bella, didn't you say you were going to deal with Jared and make him disappear? Are you just going to let this go?"

Bella rubbed her forehead irritably and said, "Mom, chill. We'll hear something soon."

Even though Jared was knocked out and sent to the hospital, the plan was still on track.

Sure enough, Bella's phone rang the next second.
