Chapter 416

"I didn't." Constance flatly denied.

"Then why is your face so red?"

Felix's voice carried a hint of amusement, making Constance feel a sense of shame as if her thoughts had been seen through.

"That's because I just got out of the shower!"

Felix raised an eyebrow. "Alright, but I want to help you dry your hair. Can you give me that chance?"

Constance pursed her lips and pretended to be indifferent. "Since you want to help me dry my hair so much, I'll give you the chance."

Seeing Constance's arrogant demeanor, Felix's smile deepened. "Alright, thank you, honey!"

Constance was taken aback. A month ago, she couldn't have imagined anyone calling her "honey," but now she felt a bit sweet inside.

"Alright, didn't you say you wanted to dry my hair? Hurry up."

Noticing the shyness in her eyes, Felix smiled and went to get the hairdryer. He plugged it in and started drying her hair.

His long fingers moved gently through her hair.

In Constance's memory, besides when Eliza dried her hair as a child, only Felix's current actions made her feel so calm and at peace.

She slightly curled her lips. It seemed she had really fallen for Felix again.

When should she tell him to start over?

Maybe on his birthday. She hadn't bought a birthday gift tonight, so she could ask Rebecca for her opinion another day.

After drying her hair, Constance was about to get up when she was hugged from behind.

His fresh scent enveloped her, and she couldn't help but breathe lightly.

"Constance, I can hardly control my feelings for you anymore," Felix said.

Every time he saw her in front of him, he suppressed the urge to hug her, fearing he would see disgust and anger in her eyes.

Only when he was behind her did he dare to hold her carefully.

Constance was stunned for a moment. After a few seconds of silence, she suddenly said, "You don't have to control it."

A look of disbelief flashed in Felix's eyes, and his arms around Constance tightened unconsciously.

"Constance, do you know what you're saying?" he asked.

His voice was suppressed and low, as if something was ready to break out of its cage.

Constance turned to look at him and said slowly, "Didn't you say we should act like a normal couple for these three months? You don't have to suppress your feelings for me."

Felix's hands trembled slightly as he held her head and kissed her.

His kiss was gentle, with a hint of reverence, lingering on her lips, not daring to go deeper but unwilling to pull away.

Constance reached out and wrapped her arms around his neck, unconsciously deepening the kiss.

Receiving her response, Felix's tense body suddenly relaxed, and his kiss became more passionate.

As they kissed, they somehow ended up on the bed.

It wasn't until Felix's hand landed on her chest that Constance pushed him away.

Seeing the hurt in Felix's eyes, Constance couldn't help but purse her lips and softly explained, "I think it's too fast. I can't accept it yet."

Although she knew they must have slept together many times in their previous marriage, in her current memory, their relationship had just begun.

Felix nodded, his expression calm. "I understand. I'll wait until you're ready."

His voice was soft, but his eyes were full of sincerity.

Constance felt a sense of being taken seriously, and a warmth surged in her heart.

"Okay, let's sleep," she said.

Thomas's villa.

Bella had just stepped into the living room when she keenly sensed something was off.

Seeing Thomas sitting on the sofa with an extremely grim face, she suppressed her fear and walked forward. "Thomas, why are you still up so late..."

Before she could finish, Thomas slapped her to the ground.

Having been slapped by two people today, Bella's emotions were on the verge of collapse.

She covered her face, her eyes filled with anger and grievance. "Thomas, are you crazy? Why did you hit me for no reason?"

"Why?"

Thomas sneered, his gaze cold as he stared at Bella. "Didn't I tell you not to provoke Constance? Do you know how much trouble you've caused today?"

Bella's face turned pale. Did Thomas know she had spent $50 million to buy that store?

She quickly hugged Thomas's leg, tears welling up in her eyes. "Thomas, I can explain. I didn't want to buy that store, but I ran into Constance and Rebecca there. They kept mocking me for being poor, so I impulsively bought it."

Before she could finish, Thomas kicked her away.

Bella was in so much pain that she couldn't even get up, only able to lie on the ground and beg for mercy.

"Thomas, I really know I was wrong. Please forgive me this time."

"You still think it's about the money?"

Bella's face was filled with panic and confusion.

Thomas stood up and slowly walked towards her, his eyes cold and full of disgust.

As he approached, fear and dread flashed in Bella's eyes. "No, don't come any closer."

Thomas pulled out the belt from his waist and whipped it at Bella.

"It hurts."

The pain from the belt was dozens of times worse than being kicked by Thomas.

Bella rolled on the ground in pain, kneeling and begging for mercy, but Thomas's expression didn't change at all. He just kept whipping her with a blank face.

It wasn't until Bella was in so much pain that she couldn't make a sound and was almost unconscious that Thomas stopped.

Thomas gritted his teeth. "Because of your stupidity, Timothy took the video of you provoking Constance and came to terminate the contract. Do you know that I can't afford to fall out with the Drake Group right now!"

As a result, he conceded an additional two percentage points on the contract for that project.

Originally, Scorpio planned to use that project to severely damage the Drake Group, but now it seemed impossible.

If he couldn't find a way to fix this, who knew what Scorpio would do to him.

If Scorpio became disappointed and abandoned him, he would be finished.

Thinking of this, a sinister look appeared in his eyes.

"I'm sorry; I was wrong."

Bella's voice was so weak it was barely audible, but Thomas coldly said, "I'm warning you, if you cause me any more trouble, even if you're Delilah's mother, I'll make sure you die a horrible death!"

Delilah was still young. Even if Bella died, she would only be sad for a while.

Hearing the murderous intent in his voice, Bella shivered violently. "I understand."

"Then get out!"
