Chapter 311
After Gianna bounced, Felix couldn't keep his cool anymore and smashed his fist into the steering wheel.
The horn blared, and Felix's eyes went ice-cold.
He whipped out his phone and dialed James. "Find out who spilled the beans to Gianna that we ain't divorced yet!"
After hanging up, a name popped into his head, and he gunned it straight to the Musk Group.
His face was stone-cold, and the receptionist at Musk Group didn't even try to stop him, quickly calling up to the president's office. So, while Felix was still in the elevator, Raymond got the heads-up.
Raymond didn't think Felix would show up so fast.
Raymond's lips twisted into a cold smirk, his eyes icy.
The friendship between him and Felix was probably toast today.
The office door flew open, and Felix stormed in, radiating menace, with a grim-faced Michael trailing behind.
Michael said, "Mr. Musk, I'm sorry. I couldn't stop Mr. Clinton."
Raymond's face stayed indifferent. "You can go now."
Michael, relieved, quickly bailed.
Felix's vibe was too chilling and terrifying. If Michael stuck around any longer, his legs might've given out.
Once the office door shut, Raymond looked at him with a smirk and said, "Felix, you came to see me..."
Before he could finish, Felix was already at the desk, landing a solid punch.
Felix didn't hold back, splitting Raymond's lip and almost knocking him down.
Felix barked, "Raymond, was it you who told Gianna we ain't divorced?"
Besides James, only Raymond, Uriah, and Mitchell knew. Mitchell and Uriah wouldn't rat him out, so Raymond was the prime suspect!
Raymond wiped the blood from his mouth, looking at him mockingly. "Even if you know it was me, what can you do? Take down the Musk Group? Don't forget, Gianna said if you went after the Musk Group, she'd sell her shares in the Clinton Group to back me. And if she knew you were gunning for me over this, she'd probably hate you even more, right?"
"You're asking for it!" Felix shouted.
Felix swung at Raymond again, but this time Raymond didn't just stand there; they started grappling.
Before long, both were banged up, but neither backed down, each wanting to drop the other.
In the end, Raymond couldn't keep up with Felix and hit the ground, ending the brawl.
Felix spat, "Raymond, I ain't breaking up with her, and I won't let her be with you. Your little dream is dead!"
Raymond, bruised and battered, still had that cold look in his eyes. "You didn't appreciate her. You say you love her, but everything you do hurts her. Do you think you deserve her?"
Felix shot back, "It's not up to you to decide if I deserve her!"
Seeing the fire in his eyes, Raymond smiled, but it tugged at his wounds, making him wince. "First, you lied about Jonah saving her, then you hid that you hadn't divorced her. You think she'll forgive you?"
Felix's eyes were dark, staring at Raymond with a coldness that could freeze. "I'll make the Musk Group pay!"
Raymond replied, "I don't care. Since I told her, I never planned on getting along with you!"
Raymond used to think Gianna was Felix's wife, so even though he had a thing for her, he kept it on the down-low. But watching Felix constantly misunderstand her and seeing her so unhappy, it felt like his heart was getting ripped apart.
Now, he didn't give a damn about propriety or friendship; he just wanted to go head-to-head with Felix.
He was sure he could treat Gianna way better than Felix ever did.
Felix glared down at him, eyes cold. "Hope you don't regret this!"
Just as he walked out of the Musk Group, Felix's phone buzzed. It was James.
James said, "Mr. Clinton, I found out. Today, Penelope went to see Miss Redstone. Miss Redstone didn't want to see her, but Penelope waited downstairs at MY FASHION all day. Later, Miss Redstone said a few words to her and then went straight to Natalie."
Felix's grip on his phone tightened until his palm hurt, but he didn't even feel it.
"Bring Penelope to Tranquil Haven Estate!" Felix ordered.
An hour later, Penelope, pale and desperate, was on her knees in front of Felix.
She pleaded, "Mr. Clinton, I really know I messed up. Please, forgive me this once."
Her hair was a mess, her clothes disheveled, and she looked utterly terrified, trembling.
In stark contrast, Felix sat on the sofa in a black suit, his expression indifferent.
Felix had a face that could make countless women swoon, but right now, that face was cold, and his gaze at her was icy and emotionless.
Felix deeply regretted ever getting involved with Penelope. Thinking about what she said to Gianna, his anger grew uncontrollable.
"Penelope, I never give second chances. When you threatened Gianna at the restaurant, I already let you off once, but you didn't appreciate it." His voice was calm, but Penelope couldn't stop trembling.
Penelope continued, "Mr. Clinton, I really know I was wrong. I'm willing to kneel before Miss Redstone and apologize. Please give me a chance to make it right."
Felix's cold gaze fell on her, and he said word by word, "Since your tongue only says disgusting things, there's no need to keep it."
As soon as he finished speaking, the two bodyguards standing behind Penelope stepped forward and dragged her out.
Penelope was terrified, realizing she had provoked a true demon.
Penelope pleaded, "Mr. Clinton, please forgive me this once, for the sake of our past relationship. I swear I won't do it again."
Felix didn't even look at her, coldly saying, "Throw her far away. Don't dirty my place. Also, I don't want to see the Clifford family in Dawnridge again."
Overnight, news of the Clifford Group's bankruptcy spread throughout Dawnridge.
Gianna naturally heard about it too, but she had no sympathy for Penelope. If Penelope hadn't been dumb enough to tell her about not divorcing Felix, Felix wouldn't have found out.
Such a foolish person would have ruined the Clifford family sooner or later.
But how did Penelope know she and Felix hadn't divorced?
Logically, Penelope hadn't known Felix for long and shouldn't have known this unless someone was behind it.
However, it didn't matter who did it. Gianna just wanted to divorce Felix and never have any contact with him again.
In the following days, Felix waited outside MY FASHION every day, looking like a total bum.
Even Faith couldn't help but come to Gianna. "Gianna, did you and Mr. Clinton have a fight? He's been waiting downstairs for you every day, and the employees are starting to talk."
