Gianna paused. Based on Felix's personality, she had thought he would simply throw away the necklace, but he had kept it.
He picked up the necklace and looked at Gianna. "Let me put it on you."
"Okay."
Felix leaned over to put the necklace on her. The two of them were very close, almost able to hear each other's breaths.
They had been this close before, but for some reason, Gianna's face started to feel hot.
Soon, she felt a chilly sensation on her neck, and Felix's presence slowly faded away.
"Done."
His gaze fell on Gianna's delicate neck, and the necklace accentuated its elegance, making her look like a swan.
Gianna lowered her head and looked at it. She praised, "The necklace is very beautiful."
"Then why did you throw it away when I gave it to you last time?"
After a moment of silence, Gianna slowly said, "Because we were divorced, and I didn't want any more attachments."
Felix's expression turned cold, and he coldly said, "Tonight was just a loan. Since you refused, I won't give it to you a second time!"
Hearing this, Gianna seemed to let out a breath of relief. "All right, I understand."
Seeing the relief in her eyes, Felix's expression became even more unpleasant, while Sophia remained severe on the surface but laughed inwardly.
Miss Redstone might not have wanted a divorce if Felix wasn't so determined.
Sophia put the wheelchair next to the car, and Felix supported himself to get on it.
Gianna glanced at him and couldn't help but tighten her grip on her bag.
He could support himself with just his upper body, as he often exercised.
However, thinking about the abs she had touched while giving him a body rub before, Gianna's face couldn't help but blush.
Felix looked at her with a cold expression and said, "What are you staring at? Push me in."
Gianna came to her senses and met Felix's gaze, feeling somewhat guilty. She quickly got out of the car and took Sophia's wheelchair from her hands. She pushed Felix into The Astor family.
At this moment, the people Rhodes suddenly invited to the banquet hall of the Astor family were all confused and didn't know what Rhodes was preparing. However, because Astor Group held high status in Dawnridge, everyone was willing to follow Rhodes' arrangements.
In Jasmine's bedroom, she sat on the bed and cried to Bella.
"My dad said that if I don't apologize to that bitch Gianna, he will kick me out of this house!"
Bella's eyes flashed, and she sighed, saying, "Jasmine, Gianna is indeed powerful, and Felix has been distant from me recently."
A hint of hatred flashed in Jasmine's eyes as she coldly said, "Gianna not only made me lose my job but also made me apologize to her in front of everyone I know. I will never let her off!"
"Don't let Gianna affect your relationship with your dad."
"Yes, Belle, you can go now. I want to be alone and calm down for a while."
"Okay, if you're unhappy, just message me anytime, and I'll come up immediately when I see it!"
Bella walked out of Jasmine's room and just turned the corner when she ran into Emerson, who was delivering soup to Jasmine.
"Emerson, hello!"
Emerson saw Bella, and a flicker of disgust appeared in her eyes. Her expression was not as warm as before, and she smiled at her.
"Miss Redstone, Jasmine is relatively naive and may not be suitable for someone with deep thoughts. You should keep a distance from her in the future."
A smile froze on Bella's face, and she lowered her gaze, saying, "Is it because of what happened before that you're upset, Emerson?"
Emerson sneered, "Since Miss Redstone understands, then in the future, keep your distance from Jasmine!"
Bella looked at Emerson and said slowly, "Emerson, I was just trying to remind you out of kindness. I didn't expect Gianna to call the police. I felt guilty after knowing that and even went to see Gianna, but she firmly refused to let go of you and Jasmine."
"You don't need to act in front of me. Miss Redstone is so clever. You should know how to keep your distance from Jasmine."
As soon as she finished speaking, Jasmine's angry voice sounded behind Bella.
"Mom, what did you say to Belle? Belle is my best friend. If you say anything else, I won't talk to you anymore!"
Emerson saw that Jasmine was truly angry and spoke gently, "Jasmine, I'm doing this for your own good."
"I don't need you to do anything for me!"
She walked over to Belle and looked at her apologetically, "Belle, I'm sorry on behalf of my mom."
Belle smiled, "It's okay, I don't mind. Emerson is just worried about you getting hurt again. I won't bother you and Emerson anymore."
Once she got to the first floor, Belle's smile turned cold.
If it wasn't for Jasmine's convenient use of her, just based on Emerson's words earlier, she would have confronted Jasmine.
After she marries Felix, she will make Emerson regret what she said today!
As soon as she entered the banquet hall, Bella saw Gianna pushing Felix in from the entrance.
Hesitating for a moment, Bella still went up to greet Felix.
"Felix, I thought you wouldn't come today!"
Felix glanced at her expressionlessly, "Jasmine and Emerson will apologize to my wife at the banquet. I didn't have a reason not to come."
A hint of jealousy flashed in Bella's eyes as if she had just noticed Gianna behind him. She smiled and said, "Sister, you..."
Before she could finish her sentence, she saw the necklace on Gianna's neck, and her face turned extremely ugly.
"Angel's tears! How did this necklace end up on you?!"
Bella couldn't believe it and subconsciously looked at Felix.
"Felix is this necklace the one you prepared for me?!"
Surprised, Gianna looked at Felix with a smile. Did he prepare two identical necklaces? Was he planning to give one to Bella and one to her?
When Felix and Gianna appeared, everyone's attention was on them. Now that they saw the three arguing, they gathered around and started discussing.
"What's going on? Does Felix still have feelings for Bella?"

Hearing the discussions around her, Felix furrowed his brows even deeper and coldly said, "When did I ever say I was going to give Angel's tears to you?"
