Chapter 392

"Say that again!" Thomas's eyes were filled with anger and malice, and his grip on Bella's hand tightened.

Bella struggled to speak while slapping him, "Did I say something wrong? You're just a loser who got beaten by Felix!"

"You're asking for it!" Thomas shouted.

Murderous intent flashed in his eyes. Seeing Bella's face turn blue and purple, his smile became sinister and terrifying.

Delilah said, "Let go of my mom! You bad man!"

Suddenly, Thomas felt a bump on his leg.

He looked down to see Delilah sitting on the ground, crying.

He frowned and loosened his grip on Bella's neck.

Bella fell to the ground, supporting herself with her hands and coughing violently.

"Delilah," Thomas called out.

He tried to hug Delilah, but Delilah looked at him in terror. "Bad man! Let go of me! You were choking mom. I hate you!"

Seeing her cry so sadly, Thomas quickly patted her back to soothe her, softening his voice, "Delilah, Daddy wasn't choking Mommy. I was just playing with her."

Delilah retorted, "I don't believe you. I don't want a bad dad like you! I want Felix!"

Hearing this, Thomas's expression turned cold, and his voice became icy, "He's not your uncle! He's our enemy. You are not allowed to see him again!"

Delilah said, "I want Felix. I hate you. You're not my dad; you're a bad man."

Thomas was furious, glaring at her coldly. "I am your dad! From now on, you will live with me, and I won't let you see Felix again!"

He thought this would scare Delilah, but she cried even harder.

Bella, having recovered, snatched Delilah from his arms and said coldly, "Get out! Or I'll call Felix right now and tell him you're here!"

Thomas chuckled lightly, but anger surged in his eyes. "Bella, you'd better understand that Felix doesn't want you anymore. Being with me is your best option."

Bella's eyes were full of mockery and disdain. "Be with you? You're no better than a rat now. Do you want me and my daughter to live a life of hiding with you?"

Thomas said, "Don't worry. This won't last long. I'll soon give you a good life."

Bella retorted, "Save those words to fool someone else!"

"I know you don't believe me now, but soon you'll see I'm not lying."

With that, Thomas gave her a deep look and then turned to leave.

In the evening, Constance was about to leave work when she received a call from Felix.

She pursed her lips and answered in a cold tone, "Mr. Clinton, are you calling to ask me to step down?"

A bitter laugh came from the other end, "Constance, do you really not trust me?"

A trace of mockery flashed in Constance's eyes. "Then do something to make me trust you."

He had just left the Drake family and went for a walk with Bella and Delilah. Normally, who would believe there was nothing between him and Bella?

Felix said, "I'm downstairs at your company. Let's have dinner together."

Constance refused, "Sorry, I'm busy."

Felix reminded, "Constance, don't forget our agreement. If you don't respect it, I can take back the divorce papers anytime."

Constance's grip on her phone tightened, and she gritted her teeth. "You're shameless!"

Felix retorted, "Is it shameless to ask you to fulfill the agreement? Do you have a misunderstanding about the word 'shameless'?"

Constance didn't answer and directly hung up the phone.

An hour later, the two walked into a restaurant together.

Constance had a cold expression the entire time, and anyone could see her displeasure. Felix, on the other hand, had a smile on his lips, looking at her with affection.

Neither of them noticed a person nearby staring at Constance in shock and disbelief.

In the private room, after ordering, Felix looked at Constance and said, "I can explain the rumors online about Delilah being my and Bella's daughter."

Constance frowned. "Mr. Clinton, I don't care about that."

Felix retorted, "If you didn't care, you wouldn't have said those things to James."

Constance said, "I just think if you like Bella, you shouldn't bother me. A quick divorce would be good for both of us."

Felix lowered his eyes, gripping his cup tightly. "You lost your memory, so you forgot that the child in her belly is my cousin, Thomas's."

Constance raised an eyebrow and glanced at him. "You're so concerned about your cousin's child. I didn't realize you were such a caring person."

Felix asked, "Are you jealous?"

Constance's expression stiffened, then she said expressionlessly, "I don't have that much free time."

Felix said, "The rumors have been clarified online. I promise this won't happen again. Don't be mad, okay?"

Facing Felix's serious eyes, Constance frowned. "I'm not mad."

Felix replied, "Alright, if you say you're not mad, then you're not mad."

In another private room, Julian was visibly uneasy.

Noticing his odd behavior, Teresa frowned. "Julian, what's wrong with you?"

Julian snapped out of it and looked at Teresa. "Teresa, do you remember Belle's twin sister, Gianna?"

Teresa replied, "Yes, didn't she die three years ago?"

Julian said, "I just saw her, and she was with Felix."

Teresa's face changed, and she said in a deep voice, "Are you sure you didn't see it wrong? Could it be Bella? I heard she's been getting plastic surgery over the years to look more and more like Gianna to be with Felix."

Julian shook his head. "No, if it were Belle, I would recognize her immediately. That person was definitely Gianna."

When he first heard the news of Gianna's death, Julian didn't feel any sadness or pain; he even felt relieved. Gianna's existence had always been a thorn in his heart, and he always felt that one day she would bring disaster to the Redstone family.

Seeing her alive now, the fortune teller's prophecy resurfaced in his mind.

After a few seconds of silence, Teresa said slowly, "My branch office has business dealings with Felix. I'll find out which private room he's in and take a look. You call Bella and ask where she is now."

"Okay."

Five minutes later, the door to the private room where Constance and Felix were was knocked.

Teresa walked in with a glass of wine, her eyes subtly scanning Constance before smiling at Felix. "Mr. Clinton, I heard you were dining here. I hope I'm not disturbing you?"

Felix's expression was indifferent. "No, but I've been injured recently and can't drink. I'm afraid I can't accept your kind offer."

A look of surprise flashed in Teresa's eyes, and she said with concern, "How are you now, Mr. Clinton? I know some good doctors. If you need, I can introduce them."
