Chapter 296

Mitchell's face went blank. "Dude, just don't bring up Laura, and we can still be cool."

Uriah couldn't resist a jab. "Man, you got no room to talk. Your love life's a train wreck, and you're still poking your nose into Raymond and Felix's business."

Felix raised an eyebrow, glancing at Raymond. "You seeing someone?"

Raymond's eyes flashed with annoyance at the question.

"Nope."

Felix's lips tightened, and he looked down, deep in thought.

Everyone knew Raymond had a thing for Gianna, but for the sake of their friendship, they all pretended not to notice.

Sensing the tension, Uriah tried to lighten the mood. "Forget this drama. Let's drink!"

"Can't. Not feeling great lately," Felix said.

Uriah looked surprised. "What's up? You sick or something?"

Felix shot him a cold glare, and Uriah shut up real quick.

Mitchell chuckled to himself, thinking, 'You were all talk a minute ago, now look at you.'

The room went quiet. After a bit, Raymond broke the silence. "Felix, did you tell Gianna you haven't signed the divorce papers?"

Felix's eyes turned icy as he stared at Raymond. "That's between us. None of your business."

Raymond sighed. "I just don't want you lying to her."

Felix sneered. "What's it to you? You her spokesperson now?"

Raymond's voice got cold. "I'm not anyone to her, but I like her. If you can't be straight with her, let her go!"

Felix asked, "You want me to divorce her so you can make a move?"

"Yeah," Raymond said, freezing the air between them.

Mitchell and Uriah looked tense, wanting to step in but too scared to.

Felix said, "Raymond, Gianna's my wife, and you're my friend. You can like anyone, why her?"

Raymond replied, "No point in talking about it now. I know you two split 'cause Jonah saved her, and you kept it from her. And that's not the only secret."

Felix snapped, "Still none of your business." His vibe was ice-cold, and his stare could freeze fire.

Raymond's face was calm, but his eyes burned with anger. "I can't stand seeing her get played by you. You don't love her, you don't value her. To you, it's all about you. Felix, you don't deserve her!"

Before he could finish, Felix's fist connected with his face.

"Felix!" Mitchell grabbed Raymond, who almost hit the floor, and whispered, "It's Isaac's birthday. If you wanna brawl, not here!"

Everyone in the banquet hall turned to look, including Gianna in the corner.

Felix shot Raymond a cold look. "She'll always be mine. Don't go after what's not yours."

With that, he stormed over to Gianna, grabbed her hand, and dragged her out.

Raymond wiped the blood from his mouth, his eyes locked on the door they left through.

Raymond had never told Gianna how he felt because he didn't want to mess things up.

But since Felix didn't give a damn about her, Raymond wasn't backing down anymore!

Mitchell couldn't help but gripe, "Raymond, you totally crossed the line today. Whatever's going on between Felix and Gianna, it's their business. You shouldn't be butting in."

Raymond shook off his hand and said, "From today on, I'm going after Gianna."

"Are you nuts?" Mitchell and Uriah both stared at him like he'd lost it.

Uriah asked, "Gianna's Felix's wife. What do you think you're doing?"

Raymond shot back, "He doesn't appreciate her. He doesn't deserve Gianna!"

Mitchell clenched his teeth, fuming. "Whether he deserves her or not, you can't go after Gianna. Unless you don't give a damn about our years of friendship!"

Raymond's face was stone-cold, but his eyes were dead set.

This time, nothing was gonna shake his resolve.

Mitchell sighed, "Fine, even if you don't care about our friendship, at least wait until they're really divorced and done. Otherwise, things are gonna get real messy between you three!"

Mitchell looked frustrated, feeling like their crew might never be the same again.

Raymond lowered his gaze and slowly said, "You're right. They need to divorce first."

"Crazy, you're really crazy!" Mitchell shouted.

Raymond closed his eyes. He'd always played by the rules, never stepping out of line.

Gianna was the only one he wanted. Before, he kept his feelings buried because she was Felix's wife, but now he felt Felix wasn't worthy of her!

So, he was gonna fight for her. Even if they didn't end up together, he wouldn't regret it!

In another corner of the banquet hall, Bella saw Felix dragging Gianna away and almost smashed her glass in anger.

That bitch!

Just breaking them up wasn't enough. Gianna had to go for Felix to focus on her!

Outside the banquet hall, Gianna shook off Felix's hand and gritted her teeth, "Felix, are you out of your mind?"

Felix turned back to stare at her, his eyes blazing with anger.

Gianna felt a bit scared under his gaze and unconsciously took a step back, frowning at him, "What do you want?"

Before she could react, Felix grabbed her waist.

In a flash, Felix had already lowered his head and kissed her.

"Let me go," Gianna struggled.

Instead of stopping, Felix tightened his grip, pressing their bodies together.

Gianna was filled with anger and bit Felix's lip hard. When he flinched in pain, she pushed him away and coldly said, "Get away from me!"

Her actions darkened Felix's gaze. He took two steps forward and scooped her up, heading towards the black Maybach.

Gianna shouted, "Felix, let me go! What's wrong with you? If you're sick, go to the hospital!"

No matter how much Gianna struggled and hit him, Felix seemed unfazed and walked straight to the car, shoving her inside.

After closing the door, Felix held Gianna's hand, "Gianna, I can't stand a life without you. Can you really not forgive me?"

After calming down, Gianna looked at him expressionlessly.

Gianna said, "Felix, your grandmother came to the villa a few days ago. She said she could introduce me to a boyfriend. Do you really want to push me into another relationship before you'll give up?"
