Chapter 96

Bella pursed her lips and said softly, "Okay."
After dropping Lauren off, she went straight to the Clinton Group.
Felix's eyes widened in surprise when he saw her.
"Felix, my father wants to thank you for involving the Redstone Group in the development of the eastern part of the city. He's planning to take you out for a meal. When are you available?"
"Is Gianna coming?" Felix asked.
Bella's smile froze, and it took her a few seconds to regain her composure.
Bella asked, "What do you mean? Do you want Gianna to come?"
Felix nodded indifferently and said, "She's my wife. If you're inviting me, she should come too, shouldn't she?"
Bella bit her lip, trying to suppress her sadness. "If you want Gianna to come, I'll let my father inform her."
"Okay," Felix said.
Bella didn't stay any longer. She wanted to ask Felix why he was helping the Redstone family if he didn't plan to divorce Gianna and why he kept giving her hope. But she didn't dare to ask, afraid that Felix would give an answer she didn't want to hear.
Back home, Bella told Lauren and Julian about Felix's invitation and then cautiously suggested, "Mom, Dad, shall we call Gianna?"
Lauren's face turned cold. "Why should we call her?"
Bella explained, "Gianna is Felix's wife. If Dad invites Felix, I'm afraid that she'll feel left out if we don't invite her."
Lauren sneered. "Let her think whatever she wants! I don't want to see her anyway!"
Unexpectedly, Julian remained silent; the events of this time have likely influenced the attitude towards Gianna.
"Let's call Gianna first. If you don't want to, I'll do it." Bella insisted.
Lauren was reluctant, but seeing Bella about to make the call, she had no choice but to agree. Bella dialed Gianna's number several times before she finally picked up.
"What's up?"
"Gianna, Felix has agreed to let the Redstone Group participate in the development of the eastern part of the city. My father wants to invite him for a meal, and I thought you could come too."
Gianna replied coldly, "I'm busy."
Bella felt a sense of relief, but she pretended to be disappointed. "If you can't be present, Dad and mom will..."
Gianna hung up before Bella could finish her words.
Bella's expression froze, and it was only after slowly putting down her phone that she looked up with a sad face and asked, "Does Gianna hate me?"
Lauren, on the side, said coldly, "Forget about her. She's just jealous of your relationship with Felix and our family. It's better that she doesn't come!"
Bella cast her gaze downward and remained silent, looking heartbroken.
On the other side, after hanging up the phone, Gianna was about to continue looking at the documents when she received a call from Amelia.
"Boss, I've bought the clothes you asked for. I'm downstairs at MY FASHION."
"Put the clothes at the reception, and I'll have the secretary pick them up. Thank you for your hard work." Gianna replied.
"No problem. I'll leave the clothes at the reception and go back to the store to continue working." Amelia replied.
"Alright," Gianna said.
Ten minutes later, Gianna received the clothes from Zoey and compared them with the new products at MY FASHION.
As time passed, Gianna's expression became increasingly grim, prompting her to call Faith and ask her to come immediately.
As soon as Faith entered the office, Gianna gestured for her to look at the two pieces of clothing on the desk. After examining them, Faith tightly held the two pieces of clothing and said, "Orb Design Studio must have copied us!"
Gianna shook her head and said, "Orb Design Studio released their clothing two months before MY FASHION's new products."
"But didn't Trinity upload an initial draft? That time frame could prove that Orb Design Studio copied MY FASHION!"
Seeing Faith's angry expression, Gianna calmly said, "Orb Design Studio dared to accuse MY FASHION of plagiarism publicly, so they must have some significant evidence in their hands, which can directly pin MY FASHION down as a copycat."
"What should we do now? Are we just going to endure this unfair treatment passively?" Faith asked.
Gianna looked at Faith and said slowly, "Don't put too much trust in Trinity. I won't take sides until the evidence is found."
Faith said, "Trinity couldn't have copied the design. I even helped her with some details!"
Seeing Faith constantly defending Trinity, Gianna frowned and said, "You should go back to work."
"Gianna, don't you trust me?" Faith questioned.
Seeing the hurt in Faith's eyes, Gianna remained silent for a few seconds before speaking, "It's not that I don't trust you. I don't trust Trinity.
There are only two possibilities for the similarity between the two pieces of clothing: either she colluded with Orb Design Studio to use this new product to impact MY FASHION severely, or her design draft was accidentally leaked.
After receiving the design draft, people from Orb Design Studio made some modifications. They produced the clothes in advance, but they didn't publicize it widely, just occasionally selling a few pieces and waiting for MY FASHION's new product launch event. This plan was already in motion at least three months ago."
Faith's face turned pale, and she murmured, "I'll go to find out what's really going on!"
"No need, I'll handle this. You continue to follow up the few material factories I selected recently."
Faith bit her lip and remained silent for a while before finally nodding and saying, "Okay, I understand."

In the general manager's office of LR Design Studio
Vernon poured a glass of wine for Wayne, who was the brand director of Orb Design Studio, with a smile on his face. "Wayne, it's been a pleasure cooperating with you!"
MY FASHION, which was already on the verge of collapse, would soon be reduced to ashes by the fire that Orb Design Studio had assisted.
There would be no other clothing company in Dawnridge that could compete with LR Design Studio.
Wayne took a sip of wine and smiled, "Vernon, don't forget what you promised me before." Vernon laughed heartily, "You can assuredly keep my promise."
"That's great!"
Wayne put down his glass and stood up. "I have some work to do at the company, so I'll head back first. See you next time."
"Sure."
As soon as Wayne left LR Design Studio, his assistant immediately came to report.
"Wayne, there's still no response from the Redstone Group."
Wayne sneered, "They can really keep their cool. Keep procuring traffic to ascend the trending topics, making sure everyone knows that MY FASHION is a copycat. Once MY FASHION responds, immediately release the evidence to make sure MY FASHION has no chance of turning things around!"
Vernon asked, "Alright, and what about Trinity? Should she continue to stay at MY FASHION?"
Wayne nodded, "Don't worry about her. After MY FASHION goes bankrupt, she can change her pseudonym and continue to draw designs."

"Okay, I understand," Gianna replied on the phone.
She finally found some clues after spending the whole day investigating.
After looking through the information, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows. Wayne was Trinity's uncle, which was quite interesting.
She let the others continue to investigate and packed up her things to go home.
Just as she reached the entrance of the villa, she saw Mitchell and Laura standing there.
Laura's eyes were filled with impatience. "Mr. Mitchell, I really don't have time. It's my day off. You should find someone else."
Mitchell smiled at Laura and said, "Name your price as long as you're willing to take on Lisa's team's advertisement."
Laura frowned, thinking about how to refuse, and caught a glimpse of Gianna walking towards them.
She quickly turned her head and walked briskly towards Gianna, taking her hand and saying, "Gianna, you're finally back. Let's go and have dinner!"
As she passed by Mitchell, Gianna's footsteps faltered, nodding at him.
"Gianna..."
Gianna turned her head to look at him with a calm expression.
She asked, "Mr. Mitchell, is there anything wrong with you?"
Mitchell replied, "I'd like to invite you and Mrs. Hall to have dinner together. Are you both available?"
When Lisa's words fell, Laura refused immediately. "I'm not available!"
Mitchell raised his eyebrows and smiled, "If Mrs. Hall is not available, I can invite you alone. I want your help me something."
Laura felt speechless.
Gianna remained silent for a few seconds before saying, "I probably can't help you, Mr. Mitchell."
