Chapter 312

Gianna scowled. Having Felix loitering downstairs all the time was seriously getting on her nerves.

"Yeah, I got it. I'll go down and tell him to scram in a bit," Gianna replied.

Faith, seeing Gianna's cold expression, didn't push it. "Alright, I'll get back to work then."

Once Faith left, Gianna tried to focus on the document in her hand but couldn't make sense of a single word.

She snapped the document shut, stood up, and headed downstairs.

Sure enough, Felix's car was still parked in front of MY FASHION. Gianna marched over and knocked on the window.

The window rolled down, revealing Felix's annoyingly handsome face.

"Felix, can you stop hanging around MY FASHION? Don't you have anything better to do?" Gianna snapped.

Felix smirked, "The most important thing right now is winning you back."

Gianna's eyes flashed with sarcasm. "I've told you, it's never gonna happen. If you keep this up, I'll call the cops."

Felix raised an eyebrow. "Pretty sure this spot isn't MY FASHION property. Even if you call the cops, they can't do squat. They can't just restrict my freedom, right?"

Gianna's face turned icy. "Whatever, suit yourself!"

Storming back to her office, Gianna tried to read a document, but all she could think about was Felix's infuriating face.

He was dead set on bugging her, but this time, she wasn't gonna let it slide!

In the afternoon, Jonah called.

"Gianna, I'm leaving Dawnridge. Got time for dinner tonight?" Jonah asked.

Gianna sighed, "Sure, send me the address."

Jonah chuckled. "The place is kinda out of the way. You probably won't find it. I'll pick you up tonight."

"Alright, sounds good," Gianna agreed.

Evening rolled around, and Gianna packed up and headed downstairs.

Jonah was already there, driving a white BMW. Seeing Gianna, he honked the horn.

Gianna walked over, but just as she reached the car, someone grabbed her wrist.

A familiar pine scent hit her, and she frowned.

"Felix, what do you want?" she snapped, shaking off his hand and glaring at him.

She was beyond fed up with Felix's constant pestering.

Seeing the clear disgust in her eyes, Felix's expression turned icy.

"Where are you going with him?" Felix asked coldly.

Gianna sneered. "None of your business."

Felix reminded her, "Gianna, don't forget we're still married!"

Gianna's expression turned mocking. "Thanks for reminding me how it feels to be betrayed by you!"

Felix's eyes darkened, and he reached for her hand, but she dodged.

"Gianna, don't test my patience!" Felix warned.

"It's not me testing your patience; you're the one causing trouble. Just sign the divorce papers, and we're done!" Gianna shot back.

"In your dreams. I'll only sign those papers over my dead body!"

"Then stay away from me. I don't want to see you!" Gianna snapped, trying to get into the car, but Felix blocked her.

"You're not having dinner with him!" Felix declared.

Gianna was about to say something when the driver's side door swung open.

Jonah quickly moved to Gianna's side, shielding her behind him, and shot Felix a cold stare. "Mr. Clinton, Gianna's made it clear she doesn't want you around. Isn't it a bit much to keep bugging her?"

Felix's eyes flashed cold as he glared at Jonah. "Out of respect for you saving her once, I'll let this slide. Step aside!"

Jonah sneered. "I saved Gianna, not you. I don't need any favors from you."

The tension between the two men was thick enough to cut with a knife.

It was rush hour, and employees from MY FASHION and other nearby companies were milling about. Recognizing Jonah and Felix, a crowd quickly gathered, with some even snapping photos on their phones.

"Is that Jonah and the president of the Clinton Group? Are they gonna throw down?"

"I doubt it, but Jonah standing up to the president of the Clinton Group—doesn't he worry about getting blacklisted?"

"They must be fighting over that woman. Look, Jonah's protecting her. If I remember right, she and Mr. Clinton are a thing."

"Two guys fighting over one woman? And it's Jonah and the president of the Clinton Group? If two such amazing guys liked me at the same time, I'd probably faint from excitement."

Hearing the chatter around her, Gianna frowned.

"Jonah, get in the car first. If this blows up, it could wreck your career," Gianna said.

Seeing her so worried about Jonah but not even glancing his way, Felix's eyes burned with anger.

Jonah turned to Gianna and said softly, "Gianna, it's fine. I've already decided to leave the entertainment industry."

Gianna was stunned for a moment, but before she could ask why, Felix's cold voice cut in. "Gianna, I'm giving you one last chance. Come here!"

Gianna looked at him with indifference. "I don't need your chance."

Felix's face twisted with anger, his gaze icy.

Gianna met his gaze coldly. Felix had never respected her, and she wasn't about to soften her heart again.

Felix sneered, his words dripping with venom. "Seems like you don't care about Jonah's well-being."

Gianna's eyes flashed with anger.

But Jonah's mocking voice interrupted, "Mr. Clinton, how do you plan to deal with me? Blacklist me? Too bad I've already decided to leave the entertainment industry. You can't threaten me."

Felix's expression turned icy as he looked at Jonah like he was a bug.

"The only reason you dare stand up to me is because the Getty family backs you. If you really piss me off, do you think the Getty family can protect you?" Felix replied coldly.

Jonah's face hardened, and he shot back, "The Clinton Group may have pull in Dawnridge, but don't forget the Getty family is one of the eight major families in Thundertop. You don't have what it takes to mess with the Getty family!"

"Feel free to try!" Felix challenged.

Seeing the reckless madness in Felix's eyes, Gianna knew he was serious.

Jonah had saved her before, and she already owed him a huge favor. If the Getty family got into trouble because of her, she'd never forgive herself.

Thinking of this, Gianna pursed her lips and looked at Jonah's back, speaking slowly, "Jonah, I might not be able to have dinner with you tonight. Once I finalize the divorce with Felix, I'll treat you to dinner to make up for it."
