Chapter 88

Gianna pursed her lips, about to speak, when Felix coldly interrupted, "Gianna, if you say it has nothing to do with me one more time, I will turn LoseDemon upside down to find out what you've been doing behind my back?!"

Gianna wasn't concerned about Felix's threat.
Since the Scorpion wanted to torment her, they wouldn't let anyone find them.

Seeing her silence, Felix's anger intensified, "You really have nothing to say?!"

"Since you already know the answer, why bother asking again?"

Instantly, the temperature in the hospital room dropped to freezing point, and Felix's face turned as cold as ice.
The two remained silent until a nurse came in to change Gianna's medication, breaking the silence.
Seeing Felix's handsome and cold face, the nurse froze for a moment before speaking, "This medication takes an hour and a half to work. If she needs to use the restroom, please press the button next to you."

"Alright."

Felix was always sparing with words in front of others.
The nurse glanced at him a few more times before realizing he was becoming impatient and quickly left.
He may be good-looking, but he's too fierce.
Not long after the nurse left, Gianna needed to use the restroom.
After holding it for a while and feeling increasingly uncomfortable, she could only seek help from Felix.

"Mr. Clinton, could you please press the button for me?"

If she wasn't currently wrapped up like a mummy, she wouldn't have asked Felix for help.
Felix glanced at her and noticed the desperation in her eyes. He coldly pressed the button.
The nurse quickly came over, helped Gianna to the restroom, and then left.

After the treatment, Gianna intended to leave the hospital, but the nurse stopped her.
"You want to leave in this state?! You think your wounds won't reopen before you even get home?! Stay put!"
Being scolded by the nurse, Gianna could only obediently lie on the hospital bed.

Meanwhile, Sophia Mars had obtained results from her investigation.
"Felix, I have something to report to you."

Seeing the distress in Sophia Mars' eyes, Gianna spoke up, "I'd like to be alone for a while., Pplease go back."

Felix took a deep look at her and then said nothing, allowing Sophia Mars to push him out.
Finding a secluded corner, Sophia Mars whispered, "Felix, I only found out that many people died in the most luxurious Private Room of LoseDemon that night, but the specific reasons were suppressed. Moreover, all the surveillance videos from the bar that night were deleted, so we can't find any information."

"Go and ask the bar's employees, preferably those who have worked there for a long time. Offer them more money."

"Okay."

After Sophia Mars left, Felix returned to the hospital room.
Gianna couldn't help but frown, "Mr. Clinton, don't you have other things to do? I can handle it here alone, you. You don't need to accompany me."

"I'm taking a day off today, and if I don't keep an eye on you, you might suddenly disappear again."

Gianna was: speechless.

Since she couldn't drive him away, Gianna decided to ignore his existence.
After lying in the hospital bed for two days, Gianna was finally allowed to be discharged. If she had to lie down anymore, she would feel uncomfortable and bored.

Back at the Villa, Gianna suddenly received a message from Vulture.
[Iris, how are you now? Has Scorpio found you?]

Gianna stared at the message for a while and typed a slow reply.
[I just had a confrontation with him a couple of days ago.]

“Vulture: [Really?! Then you must be careful. Scorpio has always been deceitful and ruthless. Once he sets his sights on you, it's hard to escape. If I hadn't found a safe place to hide, I might have already been dead!].”

“Gianna: [During the mission we did earlier, you knew that among the survivors, one of them was Scorpio, right?].”

“Vulture: [What do you mean? Are you suspecting me?].”

“Gianna: [It's not suspicion, it's certainty. The purpose of that mission wasn't to kill Scorpio, but to provoke him and make him come after me, right?].”

The other side didn't reply, and Gianna didn't continue to question, instead. Instead, she blocked him.
She would settle the score with him after dealing with Scorpio!

For the next week, Scorpio seemed to have never been here, completely vanishing from Dawnridge.
But Gianna knew well that he was just waiting for a new opportunity to continue tormenting her.
She couldn't just sit and wait for her doom, she had to find a way to fight back against Scorpio!

With Blake's help, Felix recovered quickly and gradually started walking for half an hour.
Blake was excited. The previous check indicated that Felix would be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, but in just over two months, he had already recovered to this extent.

"Felix, according to this progress, you'll be able to walk normally in another week at most."

"Yeah, I know."

Seeing that Felix didn't have much joy on his face, Blake found it strange, but didn't ask further.
After Blake left, Felix called Sophia Mars. "Sophia Mars, prepare a divorce agreement and send it over."

That evening, when Gianna returned to the Villa, Felix handed her the divorce agreement.
"Sign it."

Seeing the five big characters of the divorce agreement, Gianna was surprised.
"You agree to get a divorce?"

Felix's attitude changed too quickly, making her somewhat doubtful.
"Yes."
His expression was cold, without any warmth in his eyes. "I have already signed it. Once you sign it, I will have Sophia Mars handle it. At the latest, within a week, we will have the divorce decree."

"But your leg hasn't healed yet."

"Blake said I will be able to walk in one more week at the most."

Gianna didn't say anything more. She took the document and flipped to the last page, inadvertently gripping the pen tightly.
After spending this time together, her determination to get a divorce was no longer as firm as before.
But if they continued to stay together, they would just repeat the same mistakes.
She quickly signed her own name, put down the pen, and looked at Felix. "You can mail the divorce decree to me."

"Okay."

"I'm busy this week. I'll pack up and move out on the weekend."

Felix's expression was indifferent. "No need. You can continue to live here. I have already transferred this Villa to your name through Sophia Mars."
Without giving Gianna a chance to refuse, Felix turned around and left directly.

After finishing dinner and returning to the bedroom, Gianna was planning to work on her drafts, but couldn't concentrate no matter what she did.
It wasn't until throwing away more than a dozen draft papers that Gianna finally put down the pen, got up, and walked out of the bedroom.
She went to the kitchen to pour a glass of water and heard some commotion outside. Holding the glass of water, she walked out and saw Sophia Mars dragging a suitcase.

Seeing her, Sophia Mars's eyes flashed with surprise.
"Miss Redstone, Felix asked me to come and move his things."

Gianna tightened her grip on the glass of water and nodded. "Okay."

"Then I'll leave first. Felix is waiting for me in the car."

"Okay."

After Sophia Mars left, Gianna stood in place for a few seconds, lowered her gaze, then turned back to the bedroom.

Outside the Villa, Sophia Mars put the empty suitcase in the trunk and started the car, saying to Felix, "Felix, are you sure you want to do this?"

If Gianna had known that Felix never went to court and that the divorce judgment was fake, she would have been furious, right?

Felix looked down at the divorce agreement in his hand and said coldly, "If she doesn't think we're divorced, she won't give me another chance."

Since she believed their marriage was over, he would play along with her, and make her fall in love with him again.
