Chapter 233

Vincent stood up, glaring at Uriah. "You're risking our biggest client for a woman? Do you even want to stay president of Harris Group?"

Uriah frowned. "I'll handle it."

"How? Mr. Hayes left pissed today. We might lose the deal!"

"If he bails, I'll find new partners."

Vincent, fuming, snapped, "Fine! You have two choices - get Mr. Hayes to renew the contract or find someone just as good. Otherwise, resign. I won't let someone incapable run Harris Group!"

Vincent stormed out. A while later, the secretary nervously entered.

"Uriah, Vincent apologized to Mr. Hayes for you, but he was still upset. You should apologize to him in person."

Uriah looked surprised but nodded. "Got it. Set up a meeting with Mr. Hayes."

After the secretary left, Uriah got a call from Felix.

"Gianna asked me to thank you," Felix said.

Uriah replied indifferently, "I didn't do it for her. She shouldn't be the one thanking me."

After a pause, Felix said, "When Faith recovers, she'll probably thank you herself."

Uriah hung up without another word.

At the hospital, Faith woke up terrified, waving her hands frantically.

Gianna grabbed her wrist. "Faith, you're in the hospital. It's okay now."

Faith, realizing it was Gianna, collapsed into her arms, crying. Once she calmed down, Gianna reassured her. "Ulysses is arrested, and Uriah caught those men. You're safe."

Faith, now calm but with hatred in her eyes, said, "I want to sue Ulysses!"

Gianna nodded. "I'll get the best lawyer for you."

"Thank you, Gianna."

"Don't mention it. Just focus on recovering. I'll hire caregivers for you."

"Okay."

"Rest now. I'll get you something to eat."

Faith shook her head, "I'm not hungry. Was it Uriah who saved me?"

"Yes, he arrived just in time."

Faith's eyes flickered, her hands clenching. Uriah had wronged her before, but now he had saved her life.

"When Dominic returns, we'll thank him together."

Gianna smiled, "Alright."

It would hurt Uriah, but it would also make him realize there was no future with Faith.

After staying with Faith at the hospital until evening, Gianna headed home once Dominic arrived.

As soon as she walked into the villa, she smelled food cooking.

She went to the kitchen and saw Felix busy inside, smiling faintly. "Didn't expect to see you cooking."

Felix turned around, "Welcome back. Wash your hands. Dinner's almost ready."

After washing up, she returned to find the table filled with her favorite dishes. Gianna frowned, "I remember you can't handle spicy food. You can make it milder next time."

Felix placed a piece of fish on her plate, his expression calm, "Try this fish."

Gianna took a bite. The fish was tender and seemed to melt in her mouth.

"This is so good!"

"Eat more."

Halfway through the meal, Gianna's phone buzzed with a message from Garrett.

[This is the information of Thomas from the years he was missing.]

Gianna opened the document, her face changing as she read. Thomas was Vulture!

Seeing her grim expression, Felix asked, "What's wrong? Something happened?"

Gianna closed the document and shook her head, "Nothing. Let's keep eating."

After dinner, Gianna went straight to the study.

As she reviewed Thomas's information, a cold glint flashed in her eyes. After Scorpio's death, she had planned to track down Vulture. She didn't expect Thomas to be him. She needed to find out why he had plotted against her!

Meanwhile, Thomas had noticed Felix's actions to capture Ulysses.

"Thomas, I didn't expect Felix to have such power. If we don't stop him, he might threaten your position!"

Thomas's eyes were cold, "Since he's shown himself, we must act. Investigate Felix's forces and eliminate them all!"

"Yes!"

In less than three days, Thomas's attacks had significantly shrunk Felix's influence.

James was anxious. Felix had spent years building this force, and now Thomas was destroying it.

"Felix, if this continues, we won't be able to compete with Thomas!"

Felix remained calm, "Tell them not to act rashly for now."

"But hiding isn't a solution."

"For now, it's the only solution. We'll deal with his forces after we regain control of the Clinton Group."

Thomas targeting him meant he intended to stay in the Clinton Group. Otherwise, he wouldn't want to eliminate his forces.

"I understand."

As James was leaving, he saw Jonah's agent, Kyle, bringing him back.

Recently, Jonah's health had improved, and he had taken on a few interview shows. But staying home made him painfully aware of Gianna and Felix's interactions.

James didn't greet them and left directly.

Kyle saw James and said, "Those scripts you turned down were really good. It's a pity to give them up just because Felix is the investor."

Those scripts had award-winning potential. Although Jonah was already an award-winning actor, winning more wouldn't be bad.

Jonah's expression was indifferent, "I told you, I won't take any projects invested by the Getty family or Felix."
