Chapter 350

Grant frowned. "Just one photo. What's it supposed to prove?"

Jennifer looked shocked and snapped, "Grant, are you into Constance?"

Grant's eyes turned cold. "Can you think about anything other than love? I'm not into anyone. I just want to work. Can you leave now?"

Jennifer asked, "I've liked you for so many years. Are you really that indifferent?"

Grant's eyes stayed flat, no emotion. "Jennifer, you're not my type."

Jennifer let out a bitter laugh. "I'm not giving up!"

Jennifer thought, 'I've liked Grant since college. I'm determined to marry him!'

Seeing the look in Jennifer's eyes, Grant was quiet for a moment before saying, "Jennifer, I hope you stop insisting. I will never fall in love with you, not now, not ever."

Jennifer's face showed her embarrassment. She didn't say another word and turned to leave.

Watching her walk away, a flicker of disgust crossed Grant's face.

Jennifer had been clinging to him for years. Whenever a girl showed interest in him, Jennifer would find a way to scare her off, even the ones he liked back.

If it weren't for the fact that Jennifer had lent him money when his mom was sick, he would've cut her off long ago.

After leaving Luminary Ventures Group, Constance found Jonah's contact info and set up a meeting for the evening.

Half an hour later, Constance sat across from Jonah and said, "Mr. Getty, I asked you here because I have a question."

Jonah asked, "What is it?"

"Do I really look a lot like your deceased friend?"

She was curious about how similar they were that both Jonah and Felix mistook her, and even Jennifer had mistaken her at the banquet hall that day.

Jonah was quiet for a few seconds, then nodded. "Yeah, you look almost identical."

Constance asked, "Do you have a photo of her? I'd like to see it."

"Yeah."

Jonah pulled out his phone, found a photo of Gianna, and handed it to her.

The moment she saw the photo, Constance's face showed shock, her eyes wide with disbelief.

Not just Jonah and Felix, even she would think the woman in the photo was herself. But she was sure she had never taken such a photo.

"Mr. Getty, I do look a lot like her, but I'm not her," Constance said, trying to keep her cool.

Jonah asked, "Do you really think there could be such a coincidence in the world?"

On the way back, Constance was torn.

She thought about the past three years. She'd forgotten most of the small stuff, but she remembered the big events. Three years ago, she was getting ready to study abroad. With her good grades, she got into a foreign school with no problem. So, she couldn't be Gianna.

But she had no idea why they looked exactly alike.

Back at the Drake Villa, Constance went to find Eliza. "Mom, I need to tell you something."

Eliza was trimming flowers. Hearing this, she turned and smiled at her. Seeing her pale face, Eliza asked, "What's wrong? Did someone at the company upset you?"

"No." Constance shook her head, her voice low, "Mom, do you know Mr. Clinton from the Clinton Group? He told me today that I am his wife who died three years ago."

The moment she finished speaking, the scissors in Eliza's hand clattered to the ground.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Constance quickly picked up the scissors and asked, "Are you freaked out too? He said I look exactly like his wife, so I found it strange."

Eliza snapped back to reality and quickly said, "He must have mistaken you. You're my daughter; how could you be his wife?"

"But I saw the photo. I do look exactly like that Gianna. Could she be my long-lost twin sister or something?"

Facing Constance's puzzled gaze, Eliza slowly said, "It must be a coincidence. Don't worry about it. I'll talk to your dad and let him handle it."

Constance nodded. "Okay."

After all, Constance didn't like dealing with Felix much. His gaze was too intense, making her uncomfortable every time they made eye contact.

After Constance went back to her room, Eliza immediately called Timothy. "I'm coming to your office right now. There's something important we need to discuss."

An hour later, in Timothy's office.

Timothy looked furious, gritting his teeth. "Felix is too much! Doesn't he remember how he treated Constance back then? And now he dares to come looking for her! I won't let him get away with this!"

Eliza also looked worried, glaring at Timothy. "It's all your fault. He must know that Constance is his wife."

Timothy said, "I'll handle this. I won't let Felix get close to Constance again!"

Meanwhile, in a multi-billion-dollar mansion in Thundertop, a man in his fifties with graying hair, wearing a black suit, stood by the window.

He asked, "Felix is tangled up with the Drake family's daughter again?"

His voice was cold, and his features bore a strong resemblance to Felix, especially when he had a stern expression; their demeanor was almost identical.

The butler, bowing behind him, said, "That's what the people following Felix reported, sir. Should we take action against the Drake family?"

The man shook his head. "No need. I've retired. If we take action now, it will attract the Drake family's attention. Let's see how things develop. In any case, I won't let them be together."

Three years ago, he thought Gianna was unworthy of Felix. Even now, as the adopted daughter of the Drake family, she still wasn't worthy of being with Felix.

"Understood." The butler quietly retreated.

After Eliza left, Timothy immediately called Felix. "Mr. Clinton, isn't it a bit much to go spouting nonsense in front of my daughter? If those words get out, how will my daughter date and get married in the future?"

There was silence on the other end for a few seconds before Felix coldly spoke, "Mr. Drake, Constance is my wife Gianna. You and I both know it. I will find out what happened three years ago and bring my wife back to my side!"

Timothy sneered, "That depends on whether you have the ability!"

After hanging up, Timothy was still fuming and immediately called his secretary, Declan Coleman, in.

Timothy ordered, "Terminate all cooperation with the Clinton Group. From now on, snatch any project the Clinton Group is interested in!"

He didn't believe he couldn't teach a lesson to Felix from Dawnridge.

Declan reminded, "Mr. Drake, several of our company's projects with the Clinton Group are worth billions of dollars. Terminating them now would be a loss for us."

Timothy said coldly, "I'll cover all the losses!"

Seeing him so determined, Declan could only sigh and turn to carry out the orders.
