Chapter 202

Emily replied, "Naomi."

Gianna was taken aback for a moment, then laughed. She remarked, "Good choice, but I'm grooming Naomi to be the design director. Pick someone else."

Emily explained, "Nope, I want her. Not as a subordinate, though. I just love her designs and want to collaborate on next season's products."

Gianna hesitated, then nodded. She said, "Alright, but only for a bit. Once the designs are done, she goes back to the design department."

Emily agreed, "Deal."

Gianna invited, "By the way, there's a design exhibition tonight with works from international masters. I want to take you and Naomi. Are you free?"

Emily's eyes lit up with excitement. She replied, "Absolutely! I'd make time even if I wasn't."

Gianna suggested,"Great, let Naomi know. After work, wait for my message, and we'll head there from the office."

They parted ways as they entered the company. Gianna headed to the management elevator and got a call from Felix just as she was about to get on.

Felix informed her, "The chicken soup test results are in."

Gianna lowered her voice and asked, "Any substances over the limit?"

After a brief silence, Felix replied, "No, the chicken soup is normal."

Gianna frowned. She trusted her feeling, but the test results were clear.

Gianna said, "Maybe it's just me. I'll try the soup again next time I visit Grandma."

Felix replied, "Alright, I have a meeting. Talk later."

After hanging up, Gianna asked Felix to send the test report. He quickly did, and she zoomed in on the image. Everything was within normal ranges. Could her feeling really be off?

Meanwhile, at Thundertop's top testing center, a technician made a call, asking, "Mr. Clinton, I've altered the test report as instructed. When will my payment be transferred?"

"By the end of today. Don't contact me again," Thomas replied, then hung up, broke the phone card, and made another call.

Thomas instructed, "I'll send you an account number. Transfer one million dollars to it."

Thomas smiled coldly. Felix and Gianna had no idea he had people inside Harmony Garden. Every move they made was under his watch.

Evening came quickly. Gianna drove Emily and Naomi to the design exhibition. At the gate, they ran into Felix and James.

Gianna was confused, and asked, "Felix, your company focuses on new energy. What brings you to a design exhibition?"

Felix explained, "The Clinton Group has design companies too. The organizers invited us, and I was free tonight."

Gianna nodded in understanding and said, "I brought our designers to learn. We'll head in."

Felix said calmly, "Gianna, my secretary can show them around. There's an issue with the last contract. Since we're here, let's discuss it."

Gianna felt a bit helpless. The contract was already signed. What issue could there be?

Emily and Naomi, knowing about Gianna and Felix's relationship, teased, "Felix, don't worry about us. We'll look around on our own."

Before Gianna could respond, they walked into the exhibition hall.

Felix grabbed her wrist and pulled her to a quiet hallway, looking down at her with a smile.

Felix asked, "Are you upset?"

Gianna chided, "I don't want to be so public. Please talk to me less later."

Felix paused, then spoke softly, "Everyone knows about us. Not talking would just seem like we're hiding something."

Gianna replied, "Better than always being together. We have plenty of time at home. No need to rush."

Felix complained, "At home, you're working or I'm working late. Besides a few words during meals, we're doing our own thing. And you don't let me into the bedroom."

Gianna was stunned, then anger flashed in her eyes as she questioned, "So, you just want to get into the bedroom?"

Felix said playfully, "Of course not, but if you agree, I wouldn't mind."

Gianna glared, saying, "Then I refuse."

Felix said slyly, "Then the only way to spend time with you is through events or work discussions."

Seeing his helpless expression, Gianna said slowly, "Alright, but in front of others, don't go too far."

Felix asked innocently, "Holding your hand, is that too far?"

Gianna retorted,  "What do you think?"

Hearing her tone, Felix chuckled, "Alright, no intimate gestures in front of others."

Relieved, Gianna replied, "That's right."

Felix insisted, "But there's no one around now."

Gianna responded with disbelief, "What?"

Before she could react, Felix pinned her against the wall and kissed her.

At first, Gianna resisted, but soon she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

In a hidden corner, they kissed passionately.

Bella, watching from a distance, felt her heart broke, then pain spread through her chest. Even at her best relationship with Felix, he never kissed her like that.

Jealousy and anger surged within Bella. She clenched her hands until the pain brought her back to her senses. She took a deep breath and left before losing her composure.

When the kiss ended, Gianna's face was flushed. She looked up at Felix, eyes filled with reproach.

She scolded gently, "You've kissed off all my lipstick. Once we go out, everyone will know what happened!"

Felix pressed his forehead against hers, voice low and husky, "I'll be more careful next time."

Gianna raised eyebrows, saying, "If you don't kiss me, there won't be a problem."

Felix replied, "I can't control myself."

After calming down, Felix tidied her hair and held her hand as they walked towards the exhibition.

At the entrance, Gianna shook off his hand, saying, "I'll go in first. You come in later."

Felix agreed, "Alright."

Seeing the affection in his eyes, Gianna's face turned red again.

She realized she was finding it harder to resist Felix, which wasn't a good sign.

Entering the exhibition hall, Gianna quickly found Naomi and Emily, but they looked upset.

Gianna asked them, "Why the long faces? Don't you like the designs?"
