Chapter 367

As soon as Constance said the words, she felt Felix tense up. After a few seconds of awkward silence, he gently set her down. Without looking at him, Constance opened the car door and got in.

Once inside, Felix looked at her with deep affection. "Constance, I promise I'll never lose you or let you get hurt again."

Constance's face was cold. "Mr. Clinton, you don't need to make promises. I came back with you for two reasons: you have the marriage certificate, and I don't want my family to get hurt because of me."

Her face showed clear disgust. Felix's eyes darkened, and a wave of pain hit him, making his face pale.

Felix said, "Don't worry. As long as the Drake family doesn't try to take you back, I won't make things hard for them."

Constance's expression stayed cold, and she didn't say anything else.

An hour later, the car stopped in Fantasia City, a suburban villa area of Thundertop. The Drake family lived in Kazam, one of the oldest villa areas in Thundertop. In contrast, Fantasia City was built later and looked more modern compared to the Drake Villa.

They got out of the car, and Felix led Constance into the living room. Seeing the black and white decor of the villa, Constance frowned. She didn't like this oppressive style.

Felix said, "If you don't like it, you can redecorate anytime."

Constance glanced at him, her expression cold. "Mr. Clinton, we need to talk."

Felix, tired of her formality, said in a deep voice, "Just call me Felix. I'm your husband."

Constance sat down on the sofa, ignoring Felix's displeased expression, and said directly, "Mr. Clinton, what will it take for you to agree to a divorce?"

"I will never divorce you in this lifetime."

Constance looked at him with pity, enunciating each word, "You should know that I have amnesia. Not only do I not like you now, but I also detest you. Even if you don't agree to a divorce now, the Drake family will find a way to make you agree."

"Even if it means losing everything, I will never agree to a divorce. You will be mine for the rest of your life!" Felix said firmly.

Constance chuckled lightly, "If I remember correctly, your grandmother lives in Dawnridge. She's old now. If the Clinton Group goes bankrupt, can she handle it?"

Felix looked at her in disbelief, his eyes filled with disappointment. "Have you forgotten how good Grandma was to you? You used to like her a lot. Are you willing to break her heart?"

Constance's expression was indifferent. "You said it yourself, that was in the past. Besides, it's not me breaking her heart, but you. If you can keep Bella as my substitute by your side, it shows you don't love me that much, right?"

"I have my reasons for keeping Bella."

Constance said, "I don't care about the reasons. I just want to know what it will take for you to agree to a divorce." If Felix didn't have the marriage certificate, she wouldn't be sitting here negotiating with him.

"No way!"

Seeing his angry face, Constance said mockingly, "You don't love me; you just want the Drake family's resources, right?"

Felix took a deep breath and said slowly, "Give me three months. I will prove to you that I truly love you, and it has nothing to do with your resources!"

His expression was serious, and despite Constance's constant reminders to herself to stay firm, she couldn't help but feel a bit moved. But soon, she turned her eyes away coldly. "I have no interest in your love."

"Three months. If you don't fall in love with me, I will agree to a divorce," Felix finally conceded.

Constance was silent for a moment, looking at Felix with suspicion. "Really?"

"Yes."

Constance said, "I don't believe you. Call the lawyer over, and we'll sign a divorce agreement that will take effect automatically in three months."

Felix lowered his eyes and took more than ten seconds before speaking, "Okay."

Soon, the lawyer arrived with the divorce agreement.

To make sure Felix wasn't trying to pull a fast one, Constance carefully read through the agreement. When she saw that half of the Clinton Group's shares would go to her, she was shocked and pointed it out. "I don't need your assets. Change this part."

"I'm giving it to you willingly. It stays."

Constance pursed her lips and said nothing more. After all, it was his money, and if he wanted to give it to her, she'd take it. Three years ago, he left her to save Bella, so this could be considered compensation for her emotional distress.

After reading the agreement, Constance was about to sign when Felix pulled out another document. "Check this out first. If you agree, then sign it."

Constance took the document and scanned its contents. It required her to live with Felix for the next three months, go on at least four dates a week, share one meal together every day, and sleep in the same room at night. Her anger flared instantly. She slammed the document on the table. "I'm not signing this. Forget it!"

Felix stayed calm. "This is your one chance. Think it over. If you don't sign, don't ever mention divorce to me again."

Constance laughed in anger. "Why can't I mention it? I have no feelings for you anymore. Do I have to be stuck with you for the rest of my life? How can you be so cruel?"

Felix's face turned grim, not expecting to be called cruel by the person he loved.

Felix said, "If you don't want to sign, then forget it. I have a lifetime to make you fall in love with me."

Constance snapped, "You're dreaming. I will never fall in love with you!"

Felix chuckled, "You don't even dare to bet on three months. How do you know you won't suddenly fall in love with me?"

Constance took a deep breath, knowing Felix was provoking her, but she couldn't help but fall for it. "Fine, I'll sign! Mr. Clinton, I hope you won't pester me after three months!"

With that, she quickly signed her name on both the divorce agreement and the three-month contract. A hint of a smile appeared in Felix's eyes as he followed suit and signed.

After they signed, the lawyer said, "Mr. Clinton, Mrs. Clinton, I will temporarily keep the divorce agreement and the contract for you. I will come back in three months."

After the lawyer left, Constance was about to go upstairs to rest when Felix spoke, "Why don't you relax and watch some TV? I'll make dinner."

Constance hadn't eaten anything tonight, and his words made her realize she was a bit hungry. She nodded. "Okay."

It was already past eight in the evening, so Felix didn't cook a full meal but made some pasta.

Constance didn't expect Felix to make anything delicious, but ten minutes later, the aroma wafting from the kitchen surprised her. She got up and walked to the kitchen door, seeing Felix wearing an apron and cooking. From his movements, it was clear he was very skilled at cooking.

Noticing Constance's gaze, Felix looked up at the door, his eyes filled with tenderness. "It'll be ready in five minutes."

Maybe it was the gentle light above his head, but looking at his handsome face, Constance's heart raced. She quickly turned her eyes away, her expression indifferent. "Are you sure what you're making is edible?"

Felix smiled. "You'll know soon."

"Hurry up. I need to eat, take a shower, and go to bed," urged Constance.

Felix replied, "Okay, you can wait at the dining table. If you could grab two forks and two spoons, that would be great."

"You're such a pain!" Constance pouted but eventually walked into the kitchen, grabbed the utensils from the cabinet, and headed to the dining room.

Watching her back, Felix's eyes were filled with tenderness. He had thought he would never see this scene again in his life, but Constance was alive and back by his side. It felt wonderful.

Five minutes later, Felix brought out two bowls of pasta and placed one in front of Constance. "Eat up."

Constance looked down at the bowl of pasta, the aroma making her mouth water. She took a bite and couldn't help but squint her eyes in delight.

"How is it?" Felix asked.
