Chapter 65

Gianna frowned and coldly asked, "Who are you, and why should we go with you?"

"Miss Redstone, our boss is Felix."

"Felix?" Gianna's eyes flashed with surprise. "He came to Willow Creek?"

"Yes, Felix ordered us to bring you to see him. We hope Miss Redstone won't make it difficult for us."

After hesitating for a few seconds, Gianna nodded and said, "I can go with you, but Garrett..."

Garrett said, "Miss Redstone, I will go with you."

"Okay."

The two of them followed the men and got into the car. After half an hour, the car stopped at the entrance of the biggest hotel in Willow Creek.

The men in black led Gianna and Garrett to the door of the top floor and then left.

Gianna knocked on the door and waited for a while before it opened.

Sophia saw Gianna and Garrett, and her eyes were filled with surprise. "Miss Redstone, the CEO is waiting for you inside."

Gianna and Garrett entered the room, and Sophia stopped Garrett, saying, "Garrett, the CEO, only wants to see Miss Redstone alone."

Garrett looked at Gianna with some concern, but she smiled and reassured him, "Garrett, you don't have to worry about me."

After speaking, she looked at Sophia and said, "Garrett's stomach is not feeling well, and he hasn't had lunch yet. Can you have someone bring some food?"

Sophia nodded, "Okay."

Gianna pushed open the door and walked into the room. Felix was sitting behind the desk, looking at documents. He looked up when he heard the door open.

A cold flash appeared in his eyes as soon as he saw Gianna. He put down the documents and said coldly, "Gianna, you're getting bolder and bolder. You dare to disappear for a week!"

Gianna sat across from him, "Felix, I thought we had agreed to stay out of each other's affairs."

Felix sneered, "I never said such a thing!"

Gianna nodded calmly, "I left for a week to find medicinal herbs that could heal your leg."

"What is Garrett's relationship with you? Why do you need him to find the medicine?"

"He is Crescent, the miraculous doctor who gave me the prescription to treat your leg three years ago. So this time, I asked him to come with me to find the medicine."

Felix still had some doubts in his eyes, "Is that true?"

"Of course, if you don't believe me, you can call him in and ask."

On the way there, Gianna had told Garrett to pretend to be Crescent, otherwise Felix would easily see through the plan.

Felix looked at her coldly, "How do I know if you're lying to me?"

Gianna furrowed her brow, "He will treat your leg for the next month, and the results will speak for themselves."

Felix fell silent for a moment and said coldly, "Fine, I believe you, but if you dare to deceive me..."

Seeing the threat in his eyes, Gianna smiled, "What benefit would I get from deceiving you? I just want to help you heal your leg and get a divorce as soon as possible."

Felix's gaze instantly turned cold, "Is that what you really want, Mrs. Clinton?!"

"Mr. Clinton, don't you want it?"

Felix didn't say anything, but his aura around him became extremely oppressive.

"If there's nothing else, I'll leave. We still need to return to Dawnridge today."

"I have already canceled your plane tickets. We will return together tomorrow."

Whatever Felix decided, it was futile for her to protest. Gianna nodded, "Okay, then where will Garrett and I stay tonight?"

"Sophia will arrange a separate room for him, and you will stay with me."

"All right, then I'll leave first."

After Gianna left, Felix made a phone call and coldly said, "Follow the direction Gianna and Garrett went. Find out where they've been these past few days!"

Felix only believed half of what Gianna said. She purposefully left him with Garrett, so how could he believe her statement was so simple? She must have been hiding something from him!

In the evening, Gianna planned to go for a walk after dinner, but Felix suggested that Garrett give him a massage.

Knowing he still had doubts, Gianna didn't refuse and immediately called Garrett.

Soon, Garrett arrived.

"Mr. Clinton, the first massage might be more painful than three years ago. If you can't bear it, let me know anytime," Garrett said.

"Okay, thank you, Garrett."

Garrett instructed Sophia to lay Felix down on the bed. After Gianna left the room, he had Sophia undress, Felix, taking off his clothes and pants before starting the massage.

After every stroke, Garrett would ask Felix if he felt anything.

When he reached the back of Felix's calf, Felix's face suddenly changed, and his forehead became covered in sweat.

"Felix, it will get more painful from now on. If you can't handle it, let me know," Garrett said.

Garrett continued the massage, and Felix's expression grew increasingly grim.

In the end, Felix was drenched in sweat, too.

A hint of admiration flickered in Garrett's eyes. He didn't expect Felix to endure it, as most people couldn't handle this kind of pain even the first time.

"Felix, I'll be back in half an hour."

Felix was in so much pain that he could barely speak, but he managed to say, "Okay." The pain in his legs felt instantly magnified tenfold.

Half an hour later, when Garrett returned, Felix's face had turned pale.

"Felix, you can try getting out of bed and walking a few steps now, but it'll be much more painful than during the previous massage," Garrett informed him.

Felix nodded, "Okay, please ask Gianna to come in."

By the time Gianna entered the room, Sophia had already helped Felix get dressed.

Seeing Gianna, Felix reached out his hand and said, "Help me up."

Gianna approached and supported him, bearing the weight of almost half his body on her own.

"Garrett said I should be able to walk a few steps," Felix said.

With Gianna's support, Felix took his first step, but the pain in his legs immediately caused him to break out in a cold sweat.

The two were pressed tightly together, and Gianna could feel his whole body trembling slightly, his muscles tense to the extreme!

Gianna frowned and said, "Mr. Clinton, maybe we should wait until after three massages before trying to walk. The pain will be much relieved by then."

Felix shook his head. "No need."

With Gianna's help, Felix took a few steps forward. Suddenly, the pain in his legs disappeared, leaving him completely numb. Felix's body fell to the ground.

Gianna quickly grabbed him and moved him back onto the bed.

"Mr. Clinton, let me get some water to clean your body."

As she was about to go to the bathroom, Felix grabbed her wrist.

"Gianna, how long will it take for my legs to heal?"
