Chapter 191 New Product Plagiarism

The crowd gasped in shock, eyes glued to the model.

"Is that really Lilian, the international supermodel?"

"And Hazel Green too!"

"Wow, MY FASHION is amazing! They got so many top models!"

Sure enough, the following models were all big names, the kind who charge millions for a show.

Hearing the praise for MY FASHION, Bella and Jasmine were fuming.

Bella thought, 'No way Gianna got all these stars on her own. Felix must've helped her!'

She gritted her teeth, "It's all because of Felix. Without him, she'd be nothing!"

Jasmine sighed, "Belle, if you hadn't gone abroad three years ago, all this would be yours."

Bella's hatred for Gianna grew. Yes, this should've been hers. Gianna stole her love and everything else!

Bella smirked, "She won't be smug for long."

The more glory these models brought Gianna now, the more foolish she'd look later.

Jasmine looked puzzled, "Do you have a plan?"

"You'll see soon enough."

After the show, many wanted autographs, but staff stopped them.

"Sorry, the models have a tight schedule and need to leave right after the show."

Backstage, Gianna quickly approached the models.

"Thanks for today," she said.

Hazel smiled, "No need to thank us. Our boss asked, and you paid well."

"I'll transfer the fees to your accounts."

Hazel nodded, "OK, we have another show. Talk to you next time, see you."

Blowing Gianna a kiss, Hazel left with the others.

After they left, Gianna called someone, "I owe you for today."

A gentle male voice replied, "It's not easy to get you to owe a favor. I'll remember this."

"Alright, I'll treat you to dinner another day."

Hanging up, Gianna was about to leave when a staff member rushed over.

"Gianna, something's happened!"

Gianna frowned, "What is it?"

"Check Facebook quickly!"

Gianna opened Facebook and saw the top trending topic: #MY FASHION New Product Plagiarism#.

She clicked and scanned the content, her face darkening.

LR Design Studio's official account accused MY FASHION of plagiarizing their new products, which had been on sale overseas for a month. They posted side-by-side comparisons showing MY FASHION's products were nearly identical to theirs.

Gianna rubbed her temples, "Ignore the online stuff for now. We'll address it after the press conference."

The staff member looked worried, saying, "But people here already know. Reporters are bombarding Emily with questions, and she's about to break down."

A cold glint flashed through Gianna's eyes as she quickly walked to the front stage.

She saw Emily surrounded by reporters, all questioning her about the plagiarism.

Emily looked panicked, unable to defend herself. Her red eyes and silence made the reporters think she was guilty. They bombarded her with questions, and the staff couldn't hold them back.

Faith was busy telling clients that MY FASHION's designer didn't plagiarize any designs, insisting it was a misunderstanding. The scene was chaotic.

Gianna quickly stepped in, her expression cold as she faced the cameras, "Emily did not plagiarize any designs, and MY FASHION will not tolerate plagiarism. We will figure this out!"

A reporter asked sharply, "Gianna, LR Design Studio released their products first, only overseas. Did MY FASHION think they could get away with copying and altering a few details?"

Gianna glared at him, "By your logic, can I assume that LR Design Studio copied MY FASHION and only sold overseas to avoid getting caught?"

The reporter was taken aback and retorted, "If LR Design Studio plagiarized, why would they publicly accuse MY FASHION? Are you trying to slender LR Design Studio?"

Gianna sneered, "It's not impossible for a company to falsely accuse others."

"You!"

Gianna cut him off, "We won't respond further until the truth is uncovered." She then pulled Emily away.

Backstage, Emily collapsed onto a table, crying.

"I didn't plagiarize. I worked so hard on these designs. Someone must have leaked them to LR Design Studio!" she wailed.

Gianna stayed silent, her face stern. She had seen the clothes LR Design Studio was selling overseas. They were based on her modified designs from Emily's originals.

After giving the revised designs to Emily, Gianna had new ideas and made further changes, explaining the slight differences between MY FASHION's latest products and LR Design Studio's items.

She remembered making those revisions at the villa. She had been too tired, and when Felix offered to shut down her computer, she had agreed.

Thinking of this, Gianna's hand clenched involuntarily.

"Emily, did you show the revised designs to anyone else?" Gianna asked.

Emily thought for a moment and shook her head, "No, I've always worked on them at the company."

Gianna was silent for a few seconds before saying softly, "Go home and rest for a few days. Don't come to work, and avoid looking at online comments. I'll find out what happened."

Emily nodded, "Okay, Gianna... I really didn't plagiarize the designs..."

"Alright, I believe you."

Seeing the trust in Gianna's eyes, Emily felt touched and left with red eyes.

Gianna and Faith saw off the clients, then she drove straight to the Clinton Group.

Just as she parked, she got a call from Felix.

"Gianna, I was in a meeting and just saw what's happening online. How are things now?" Felix asked.

Gianna lowered her gaze, "Still investigating."

"Where are you now?"

Felix's concern seemed genuine, but the clothes LR Design Studio was selling overseas were based on her first revised designs.

At this moment, Gianna didn't know if he was truly unaware or just so good at acting.

Finally, Gianna spoke slowly, "I'm downstairs at the Clinton Group building."
