Chapter 154
"Yes, I can agree to the conditions you mentioned last night," said Gianna.
Hearing that, Scorpio sneered, seeming very pleased. "You really didn't disappoint me."
Gianna's expression was cold as she said slowly, word by word, "If anything happens to the people around me, even if I have to chase you to the ends of the earth, I will kill you."
"Don't worry. Since you agreed to my conditions, I naturally won't touch the people around you. I'll contact you again in three months."
After hanging up the phone, Gianna took a deep breath and started working.
In Dawnridge's largest hotel, when Bella woke up, she felt weak all over, completely devoid of strength.
Bella slowly sat up and found herself in the hotel. Her face instantly turned pale.
Looking down and seeing that she was still wearing last night's clothes and feeling no discomfort, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Memories of last night flooded back. Bella remembered going to meet a business partner with Sophia, drinking the wine the partner offered, feeling unwell quickly, and then losing consciousness.
But Bella vaguely remembered seeing Felix.
Thinking of this, Bella immediately called Sophia.
"Sophia, was I drugged last night?" she asked.
Sophia told Bella about what happened last night. Knowing that Sophia had brought her to the hotel, disappointment flashed in Bella's eyes. However, she still tentatively asked, "Last night, I seemed to have seen Felix. Did he come?"
There was silence on the other end of the phone for a few seconds before Sophia's voice came through.
"No, Miss Redstone, you probably saw it wrong."
Bella didn't ask further, hung up the phone, got up to wash, and prepared to leave.
When she was checking out downstairs, Bella's mind flashed with some fragments, and she suddenly asked, "Who registered my room?"
"Wait a moment, let me check."
Soon, the front desk smiled and said, "Miss Redstone, Mr. Clinton registered the room for you."
Bella lowered her gaze and smiled meaningfully.
Bella knew that Felix wouldn't just ignore her.
However, thinking of Sophia lying to her on the phone, Bella couldn't help but furrow her brows.
She needed to find an opportunity to get rid of Sophia. This secretary who took matters into her own hands and lied was nothing but trouble!
Bella returned to the Redstone family estate in a good mood. Just as she entered the villa, she saw Julian sitting in the living room, looking somewhat displeased.
Bella was surprised because Julian wouldn't usually be at home at this time. "Dad, why aren't you at company?"
Julian looked at her with a hint of anger and said coldly, "Belle, you know about Gianna being the CEO of MY FASHION. Why didn't you tell me?"
Seeing the blame in Julian's eyes, Bella paused her steps, then lowered her gaze and pretended to be aggrieved. "Dad, you also know that I recently took over LR Design Studio. There's a lot to do, so I just forgot."
Deep down, Bella wanted to keep the Redstone family from knowing about this, as their attitude toward Gianna might change.
Julian furrowed his brows and said coldly, "Next time, you should tell me such things immediately."
"Okay."
Soon, the Redstone Family Ancestral Home also learned about Gianna being the CEO of MY FASHION, and Kimberly immediately called Julian.
"Don't favor Bella too much. Invite Gianna home for dinner whenever you have time."
Julian nodded. "I understand."
Kimberly continued, "I know you and Lauren prefer Bella, but Gianna is now the CEO of MY FASHION. She might be able to help the Redstone family in the future."
"Mom, don't worry about this. I know what to do," said Julian.
"Okay, but how did she suddenly become the CEO of MY FASHION?" asked Kimberly.
Julian remained silent for a moment and slowly said, "I'm not very clear about this, but it's might be Felix's doing. Wasn't the Clinton Group acquiring MY FASHION some time ago?"
"If Felix gave LR Design Studio to Belle and MY FASHION to Gianna, what does it mean? Does he like both of them?"
If Felix really wanted both of them, Julian could indeed send both Bella and Gianna to the Clinton family.
After all, in Julian's eyes, daughters could be used in exchange for benefits. Only the son he kept outside was his future heir.
"I'm not sure. I'll ask Mr. Clinton about it."
After hanging up the phone, Julian hesitated for a moment and decided to call Gianna.
Gianna was in a meeting, and when Julian called, the phone was projected onto the big screen, so everyone saw it.
Otis couldn't help but look at Gianna. "Ms. Redstone, this call..."
"Just hang up. Continue the meeting," said Gianna.
"Okay."
Julian's call was disconnected, and he guessed that Gianna was probably still angry. He decided to go to MY FASHION in person to see her and inspect the company.
Redstone Group had never cooperated with MY FASHION before, but now it was also involved in the fashion industry. If both MY FASHION and LR Design Studio could help Redstone Group, it would quickly establish a foothold in the fashion industry.
Thinking of this, Julian seemed to have already seen the expanding process of the Redstone Group, and his eyes narrowed with a smile.
Just as Gianna finished the meeting and walked out of the conference room, another secretary approached her. "Ms. Redstone, your father is here. I asked him to wait for you in the reception room."
Upon hearing this, Gianna frowned. "Next time he comes, tell him I'm not here."
Seeing Gianna's displeasure, the secretary realized her mistake and lowered her head, saying, "Okay, I understand."
Gianna handed the documents to Otis and quickly walked toward the reception room.
"Mr. Redstone, what brings you here?"
Sensing Gianna's coldness, Julian frowned unhappily, suppressing his temper as he spoke, "Gianna, you haven't been home for a long time. Come home for dinner tonight. Lauren and Bella miss you."
Gianna looked at Julian incredulously, not understanding how he could say such things without changing his expression.
'Lauren and Bella would miss me? They only wished I would never return,' she thought.
"Mr. Redstone, it seems we have no relationship anymore. This is the first time you've come to MY FASHION to find me, and I hope it's the last time," Gianna said as she turned to leave, not even bothering to inquire about Julian's true intentions.
"Gianna, wait! I know that we were wrong before, but no matter what, we're still family," said Julian.
A mocking smile played on Gianna's lips as she turned to face Julian, saying each word deliberately, "Mr. Redstone, you came to see me today because you found out I'm the CEO of MY FASHION and think you can benefit from me, right?"
Julian's face stiffened, gritting his teeth. "How can you think like that of me! No matter what, you are my biological daughter. How could I harm you?"
"Twenty-three years ago, you believed the fortune teller and abandoned me once. Not long ago, you thought I had no value, choosing to side with The Astor family over me. And the repeated favoritism toward Bella, I won't mention it again."
Seeing Julian's increasingly unpleasant expression, Gianna remained unfazed.
"Whatever you want from me, you won't get it. Don't come looking for me again in the future."
With that, Gianna turned and left directly.
Julian took a deep breath, filled with anger but unsure of where to vent it.
Returning to her office, Gianna saw Faith sitting on the sofa waiting for her. Gianna walked to her seat and sat down.
"Do you need me for something?"
"Yes."
Faith handed her a document to sign and said with a smile, "Gianna, the design department hired a designer today. You'll never guess who it is!"
