Chapter 209

Lauren sneered, "Let her in!"

She thought she'd treated Bonnie Kelly's family well over the years, but Daisy slept with Julian and secretly had a kid. She was livid!

Aurora led Bonnie in, who was carrying a bag.

Bonnie looked uneasy, wearing a worn out shirt, black pants, and yellow cloth shoes that had turned white from being washed often, with dirt on the edges.

Lauren's face showed clear disdain and contempt.

Bella, nearby, smelled Bonnie's sweat and instinctively covered her nose. "Lauren, I have something to do. I'll go upstairs," she said.

Bonnie smiled awkwardly at Bella, and said, "Bella, you've grown so pretty! Last time I saw you, you were still in high school!"

Bella ignored her and went upstairs.

Bonnie's smile faded. She turned to Lauren, and urged, "Lauren, I brought some vegetables from home. Take a look."

She opened the bag, but Lauren said indifferently, "Thanks, but we can get these at the supermarket. No need to bring them next time."

Bonnie replied, "Supermarket veggies aren't as safe as homegrown ones. They use pesticides."

Lauren didn't want to waste time and asked Aurora to take the vegetables away.

Lauren said patiently, "Have a seat. I need to ask you something."

Bonnie sat down carefully, and asked, "What is it?"

Lauren questioned, "Did you know that Daisy had a child with Julian?"

Bonnie stood up, shocked, her eyes wide and face trembling.

Bonnie replied, "What? She had a child with another man! I've already arranged a marriage for her. I came to take her back for the wedding."

Lauren paused, then a plan formed in her mind.

Lauren remarked, "She's been in Dawnridge for years. She might not want to go back."

Bonnie said angrily, "No way, she has to get married for her brother's sake! I'll go find her now!"

Lauren quickly stopped her, and advised, "If you go now, she won't listen. I'll help send her back. You tell the family to prepare for the wedding. Once a woman sleeps with a man, she'll be obedient."

Bonnie agreed quickly, "Alright, Bonnie, I'll leave this to you!"

Lauren smiled, and said, "We're family, no need to be polite."

Near noon, Daisy got a call from Bonnie, saying she was at the train station and needed to be picked up.

Daisy hurried to the station and frowned when she saw Bonnie, and said, "Bonnie, why didn't you tell me you were coming? I had to take time off."

Bonnie replied, "I missed you. I haven't eaten all morning, take me to eat first."

"Okay." Daisy agreed as she took Bonnie's bag and hailed a cab to a restaurant.

What she didn't know was that a car started following them as soon as they got in.

An hour later, looking at the unconscious Daisy, Bonnie was at a loss.

Bonnie asked worriedly, "Lauren, is Daisy okay?"

Lauren's cold, hateful gaze swept over Daisy, and replied, "She's fine, just sedated. She'll wake up in a day. I'll have my subordinate fly you back. It's faster. You'll be home tonight."

Bonnie looked terrified. She'd never flown before.

Bonnie insisted, "Lauren, no need. We can take the train."

Lauren remarked impatiently, "You'll fly. I've already booked the tickets, and they can't be refunded. Each ticket costs over a thousand dollars. It would be a waste not to use them."

Hearing "over a thousand dollars," Bonnie almost fainted. It took her a few minutes to accept it. Her monthly salary was just over a hundred dollars, so a thousand was her entire year's pay.

After thanking Lauren again, Bonnie finally left.

Watching them go, a cold smile crept onto Lauren's lips.

She had instructed her people to give Daisy drugs that would excite her. No man would satisfy her. Since she liked sneaking into men's beds, she'd get satisfied this time!

In the evening, Julian stormed back to the Redstone family.

Julian roared accusingly, "Lauren, what did you do to Daisy? Where is she?"

Lauren took a slow sip of coffee and said, "She's missing. Go to the police. Why ask me?"

Julian sneered, "If anything happens to her, I won't let you off!"

Lauren calculated the time. By now, Daisy should be in bed with several men.

Just then, her phone buzzed. It was a message from her subordinate with videos.

She put down her coffee and opened the videos. The sounds of moaning filled the room.

Seeing Daisy's face of enjoyment in the video, Lauren smiled and handed the phone to Julian. She mocked, "This is the woman you're looking for. She's busy with several men right now."

Julian's pupils contracted, and he slapped Lauren hard.

Julian warned, "You venomous woman. I won't let you off!"

Lauren sneered, "How? Call the police? The Redstone Group and family would be affected. Are you sure you want to do that for a woman?"

Julian glared at her, and promised angrily, "You just wait and see!"

He wouldn't call the police. Interests were most important to him. He treated Daisy well only because she had given him a son. He wouldn't blow things up for her.

Lauren knew this, which is why she dared to deal with Daisy so ruthlessly.

After Julian left, Bella came downstairs.

Bella commented, "Lauren, even though Julian despises Daisy now, we can't let our guard down. Daisy has a son."

Lauren sneered, "I know. I'm going to the hospital to see your grandmother. That child is a Redstone. He can't be raised by a promiscuous woman."

Once she got the child back to the Redstone family, she had many ways to deal with him!

Bella agreed, "Okay."

After Lauren left, Bella also went out for business.

The plagiarism incident had a big impact. Most partners she approached recently were unwilling to cooperate.

Some kindly told Bella that LR Design Studio's brand image was bad, and there was a group online boycotting them. It was better to keep a low profile for a while.

Bella's standards for partners kept dropping, and finally, a few small partners showed interest.

Walking into the agreed restaurant, Bella discussed with the partners. After agreeing to sign the contract at the company the next morning, she escorted them out and ran into Gianna at the door.

Standing next to Gianna was Mr. Hayes, LR Design Studio's biggest former partner.

Bella's face turned ugly. She forced a smile, and asked, "Mr. Hayes, are you working with MY FASHION now?"

Mr. Hayes looked at Bella's partners, who weren't on his company's level, and smiled as he replied, , "We're just having a meal."

He then looked at Gianna, and said, "Bella, that's it for today. We'll talk another day."

Gianna nodded, "Okay."

After everyone else left, Bella glared at Gianna, and said, "Don't think you've won just because you're working with Mr. Hayes!"

Gianna looked indifferent, not even glancing at Bella, and walked away.

Bella was furious and quickly stepped in front of Gianna, saying, "I'm talking to you, can't you hear me?"
