Chapter 246
Natalie went pale, her hand shaking on the table.
"Such bad luck in our family. I felt sorry for him after his parents' death and even thought about giving him Harmony Garden and half my shares. But I never thought he'd drug me and try to kill your mom!"
Even though Natalie never liked Ximena, what Thomas did was unforgivable.
Felix's face was cold. "He always thought my parents were behind his parents' deaths and that you helped cover it up. So he hates us all."
Natalie was shocked. "Is he out of his mind? If your parents really killed his, I'd be the first to hate them. How can he still believe those old rumors?"
Felix stayed cold. "After his parents' car accident, one of my dad's old subordinates left the country quickly. Maybe the accident was related to him. We found him, but he's lost his mind, so we can't get any information out of him."
Natalie gritted her teeth. "How does a normal adult suddenly lose their sanity?"
There had to be more to it.
"I've brought him back. Whether he's genuinely insane or pretended to be mad, we'll find out," Felix said.
Natalie sighed, heartbroken, "Felix, before I came back, I wanted to ask you to spare him for the sake of the family. But now, for what he's done, he's crossed the line. You don't need to treat him as your cousin anymore. Whatever happens, he brought it on himself."
She clearly didn't want to deal with Thomas anymore.
Felix nodded, "Grandma, I know what to do."
Natalie was filled with sorrow. She couldn't understand Thomas, who was obedient as she knew, had changed so much.
After dinner, Felix and Gianna took Natalie to the villa which Felix had prepared for her, posted guards, and left.
On the way back, Felix was silent, still thinking about the box which Garrett had given to Gianna.
'Why would she need supplements?' Felix wondered.
Back at the villa, Felix finally asked, "Why are you taking supplements? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"
Gianna paused, then looked at him calmly, "When Garrett was treating Natalie, he checked on me too and said I was weak, so he gave me some supplements."
Felix frowned, "If you're not feeling well, tell me. I'll get a doctor. Medicine can be toxic. Don't take it recklessly."
Gianna nodded, and they went to their rooms.
After closing the door, Gianna opened the box, took out the prescription, noted the herbs and amounts, then folded it and put it in her drawer. She took a pill from the box and swallowed it.
With the medicine from her master, the daily pain was bearable. This was why she could stay out with Felix all night when Ximena was being resuscitated.
During the worst pain, she'd tell Felix she wanted to go to the bathroom so he wouldn't notice.
Once Thomas's issue was resolved, she would look for the antidote of the Dreamwell Capsules.
Meanwhile, at Thomas's villa.
He had been keeping a close watch on Felix, so he quickly learned that Natalie had returned.
Knowing Felix had arranged Natalie to stay in one of his villas with guards, Thomas sneered. 'Did Felix really think that would stop me?'
But for now, Thomas didn't plan to touch Natalie. Once he dealt with Felix and Connor, Natalie would be at his mercy.
He dialed Ivy's number.
Thomas asked, "How's the progress on suing Felix?"
Ivy paused for a while and coldly said, "I'm working on it, but without evidence, we can only detain him for a few days. You don't really think we can convict him, do you?"
Thomas chuckled, "Of course not. Just ruin his reputation. I'll take care of the rest."
Ivy doubted Thomas's ability and gritted her teeth, "Thomas, you better really help me get revenge, or the Foster and Astor families won't let you off!"
Thomas's gaze turned cold, but he said gently, "Don't worry. I'll keep my promise."
After hanging up the phone, Thomas curled his lips into a cold smile.
The Foster and Astor families were nothing to him.
Moreover, he knew about Ivy's affair with the Astor senior. If that got out, both families would be too ashamed to stay in Dawnridge. The gossip would easily drive them out.
He never expected Ivy to be so despicable that she slept with the Astor senior.
After instructing his subordinates to keep a close watch on Ximena and report everything, Thomas left the study and went to bed.
The next morning, as Gianna came downstairs, she saw Felix on the couch with a cold expression, holding a document.
"Felix, what's wrong? What are you holding?"
Felix looked up, "A court summons."
Gianna frowned and quickly walked over. After glancing at it, she sneered, "She really dares to sue you!"
Felix's expression stayed cold, "Leave her."
Gianna gripped the summons tightly, "Since she dares to do this, she should be taught a lesson!"
"Gianna, you don't need to worry about this. I'll handle it."
Gianna looked at him in surprise, "Are you afraid I'll suffer losses?"
"No, you're already exhausted managing the company. I don't want you to worry about my issues."
Besides, he had already decided to get rid of the Foster family from Dawnridge. He didn't want to waste energy on this matter.
As long as Gianna trusted him, he didn't care what others said.
"As long as it concerns you, I won't find it bothersome. Alright, leave this matter to me."
As she insisted, Felix had no choice but to agree.
If she couldn't handle it, he would step in.
After breakfast, Gianna left the villa.
But she didn't go to MY FASHION. She went straight to Ivy.
As Ivy saw her, her face was full of smugness.
Ivy chuckled, "Gianna, are you here to beg me to spare Felix?"
She hadn't forgotten how Felix and Gianna humiliated her at the Astor senior's birthday party!
Gianna's expression was indifferent as she got straight to the point, "If you don't want your affair with the Astor senior to become public news in Dawnridge, withdraw the lawsuit in a day and hold a press conference to clarify that Felix didn't harass you!"
Ivy's expression turned pale.
Ivy shouted, "What nonsense are you spouting? Gianna, I'll sue you for slander and tear your mouth apart!"
Ivy, agitated, raised her hand to slap Gianna.
Gianna grabbed her hand and smiled as she stuffed a few photos into Ivy's hand.
"Why don't you look at these photos first?"
Just one glance at the photos, and Ivy's expression turned fully pale.
After a few seconds of silence, Ivy gritted her teeth, "How do I know you're not tricking me? What if I clear Felix's name and you still release these photos?"
Gianna chuckled, "Do you have any other choices?"
Ivy's expression turned even uglier, her manicured nails digging into her palm. She hated Gianna but was helpless.
"Fine, I agree!" Ivy agreed.
Gianna stood up with a smile, "Ivy, I am waiting for your good news."
After Gianna left, Ivy angrily dialed the Astor senior's number.
"Gianna knows our affair!"
