Chapter 280

He yanked Gianna's wrist and dragged her out.

Gianna almost face-planted from the sudden move but managed to steady herself and shook off his grip.

"Felix, are you out of your mind?" she snapped.

She hadn't even grilled him about sneaking off to see Garrett, yet here he was, throwing a fit.

"Come back with me. We need to talk," Felix said, his voice cold as ice.

Gianna rolled her eyes. "There's nothing to talk about. Keep messing with my relationships, and we're done!"

She spun on her heel and stormed off.

Just as she hit the curb, Felix jumped in front of her.

Ignoring him, she raised her hand to flag down a cab.

But before she could, Felix scooped her up.

"Ah!" Gianna yelped, her anger flaring. She squirmed and hissed, "Felix, put me down! You jerk!"

Felix didn't even flinch, shoving her into the car and sliding in after her.

Gianna reached for the other door, but Felix grabbed her waist, his chin resting on her shoulder, his pine scent surrounding her.

"Gianna, I'm sorry," he murmured.

She froze, not expecting an apology.

After a beat, she said coldly, "You owe Garrett an apology, not me."

Felix sighed. "I saw photos of you with Garrett all week and lost it. You haven't seen me that much lately." His voice dripped with jealousy and insecurity.

He always feared she'd leave him, losing it whenever she got close to another guy.

Gianna's eyes narrowed. "What photos? Did someone send them, or did you have me followed?"

Felix stiffened.

After a long pause, he muttered, "Bella sent them."

Gianna took a deep breath, pushing him away to face him. "Didn't you say you were done with Bella?"

Felix explained, "She called, I blocked her, but she texted from another number, saying you were with Garrett and sent the photos to my email."

"And you just believed her? You doubted me and Garrett over some photos?" Gianna's voice was laced with disappointment.

Felix panicked, reaching for her hand, but she slapped it away.

"Felix, if you can't respect me, we're done," she said, each word sharp.

She opened the car door and left.

Felix didn't follow, his eyes dark.

He turned to James, who'd been silent in the passenger seat. "Call Bella," he ordered coldly.

James, shaking, dialed Bella's number. After a long wait, she picked up.

"James, what do you—" she started, but Felix cut her off.

"Bella, why'd you send those photos?" His voice was icy.

Bella hesitated. "Felix, I was just worried Gianna might hurt you, so I told you."

Felix sneered. "Stop wasting your time on me and Gianna. Even if I break up with her, I won't be with you. And don't forget, you're still pregnant with Thomas's kid!"

Before she could respond, he hung up and snapped, "From now on, don't tell me anything Bella says. Get me a new phone number this afternoon!"

"Yes, Mr. Clinton," James replied.

Just as they were about to head back to the office, James's phone buzzed. It was the butler from the Getty family.

"Mr. Clinton, Mr. Getty wants to meet with you," James said, covering the phone and looking at Felix.

Felix's face was like stone. "No."

James added, "The butler said it's about Crescent. Mr. Getty wants to know your relationship with Crescent."

Felix frowned. "Didn't you explain last time that Garrett is Crescent?"

James nodded quickly. "I did, and Mr. Getty even went to see Garrett, but Garrett denied being Crescent. He said Crescent is someone else. The butler mentioned the Getty Group stopped targeting us, probably because of Crescent."

Felix barked, "Set up the meeting. Time and place!"

An hour later, in the swankiest private room of a high-end club in Dawnridge, Felix and Daniel sat across from each other.

Felix's face was as cold as ever, while Daniel wore a smile like nothing had happened.

"Mr. Clinton, why didn't you tell me about your good relationship with Crescent? If I'd known, I wouldn't have been dumb enough to have Gianna kidnapped," Daniel said.

Felix's eyes were icy. "Did Garrett tell you about my relationship with Crescent?"

Daniel nodded. "Yes, and Garrett also said if I keep going against the Clinton Group, Crescent won't see me, let alone operate on Jonah."

If it weren't for Jonah, Daniel wouldn't be kissing up to Felix.

Felix's gaze grew colder, and suddenly, something clicked. His expression turned grim.

Daniel looked puzzled. "Mr. Clinton, what's wrong? Why do you look so upset all of a sudden?"

Felix stood up abruptly, glaring at Daniel. "I just remembered something. I have to go."

"Mr. Clinton," Daniel's face twisted with anger.

But Felix ignored him and bolted out of there.

Daniel watched him leave, smashing his cup to the ground in fury.

Felix had disrespected him too many times. Once Jonah's surgery was done, he wouldn't let the Clinton Group off the hook!

On the way to MY FASHION, Felix's mind raced with memories of Gianna.

No wonder it felt off when Gianna said Garrett was Crescent. No wonder they seemed so close.

If Gianna was Crescent, everything made sense.

Only then would Garrett help her keep it from him. And only she would stand up to Daniel and make him back off the Clinton Group.

Thinking about how he hadn't noticed Gianna's sacrifices and had gotten mad over her interactions with Garrett, Felix wanted to punch himself.

The club was just a ten-minute drive from MY FASHION, but for the first time, Felix felt like time was crawling, wishing he could teleport to Gianna.

Finally, the black Maybach screeched to a halt in front of MY FASHION. Felix jumped out and stormed in.

When he reached the CEO's office, Otis looked shocked and quickly stood up. "Mr. Clinton, you..."

Felix didn't even glance at him and barged into Gianna's office.

Gianna was reading a document. Hearing the door slam open, she frowned and looked up, only to see Felix striding towards her.

Surprised, she asked coldly, "What are you doing here?"

Before she could finish, Felix pulled her into his arms!
