Chapter 182: Allergy Crisis

Gianna shook her head, "I don't know."

Faith didn't want to push her on matters of the heart. After hanging out for a bit, she left.

For the next week, Gianna and Felix didn't talk or see each other. It was like they had vanished from each other's lives.

Gianna called Jonah's agent and felt relieved when she heard Jonah's work was back to normal.

Meanwhile, Bella had been staying home a lot, only going out for work.

Lauren, who usually loved going out, was acting strange too. She'd head to her room right after dinner, skipping her favorite TV shows.

One evening, Bella finally pulled Lauren aside after dinner. She asked, "Mom, what's up with you? No afternoon tea or shopping? On top of that, you go straight to your room every night."

Lauren shook her head, "I'm fine, just tired lately, so I'm resting at home."

Lauren suspected Julian was cheating but wanted solid proof before telling Bella to avoid unnecessary worry.

Seeing Lauren wouldn't say more, Bella nodded, "Alright, but if something's wrong, you have to tell me!"

"Okay, I know."

After Lauren went back to her room, Bella was about to take a walk in the garden when her secretary called.

"Miss Bella, I found something on MY FASHION. I'm sending it to you now."

Bella raised eyebrows and decided to skip the walk, "Alright."

Soon, she got an email.

After reading it, Bella's lips curled into a cold smile. MY FASHION was in big trouble!

While Bella was imagining MY FASHION's downfall, Jasmine sent her a photo.

Jasmine: [Belle, isn't this your fiance? What's he doing with Emily Johnson?]

Bella opened the photo. It showed Emily and Thomas in a café, with Emily looking at Thomas with clear affection.

Bella's grip on her phone tightened. She didn't like Thomas, but she couldn't stand him with another woman.

Then she remembered Emily worked at MY FASHION and held a high position.

If she could use Emily, it would definitely catch Gianna off guard.

With that thought, a plan began to form in her mind.

Half a month later, on a Monday morning.

As soon as Gianna arrived at the company, Faith rushed over.

"Gianna, MY FASHION has been sued, and it's serious this time!" Faith said hurriedly.

Gianna frowned, "What's going on?"

"A customer had a severe allergic reaction and went into shock after wearing our clothes. They're still in the emergency room. The family has taken this online, causing a huge impact on us."

"How could our clothes cause an allergic reaction?!"

"I don't know, but that's what the hospital's investigation says."

Gianna didn't hesitate, "Let's go to the hospital and get that piece of clothing for testing."

When they arrived at the hospital, they saw many reporters at the entrance, waiting to interview the patient's family.

Gianna had the driver go around to the back gate and she entered through the back door.

The hospital security had already driven the reporters away, so only the patient's family was at the door of the hospital room. Knowing Gianna and Faith were from MY FASHION, the patient's mother immediately got agitated and tried to hit them, but other family members stopped her.

"Calm down, Brother's still in surgery. If you hit someone, we'll lose the case!"

The woman angrily shook off the other's hand and pointed at Gianna, cursing, "If anything happens to my son, you'll pay! You heartless people hurt my boy! My poor son!"

Gianna approached her, looking apologetic. She asked, "Is the clothing he wore still around? We need it for testing. If it's our fault, we'll take full responsibility."

The woman sneered, "Give you the clothes so you can destroy the evidence? No way. We'll find a third-party lab to test it."

Gianna paused, then nodded, "We've recalled the clothes for testing. You can send that piece to a lab."

The woman glared, "You better hope nothing happens to my son, or I'll sue your company into the ground!"

Faith frowned. They were blaming MY FASHION without proof, which upset her.

Since the last fabric incident, their clothes had strict standards, making an allergic reaction unlikely.

Faith was about to speak, but Gianna signaled her to stay quiet.

Gianna said a few more comforting words and then pulled Faith away.

In the car, Faith looked confused, asking, "Why didn't you let me speak?"

"In that situation, it would have made them more emotional. Push for the test results, and we'll handle the rest later."

Faith nodded, "Alright."

The next morning, the test results came back. No substances that could cause an allergic reaction were found on the recalled clothes.

After reading the report, Gianna said, "Have PR take the test report to the patient's family. Be polite and avoid arguments."

After Faith left, Gianna opened her computer. The internet was full of people bashing MY FASHION, even bringing up her dinner with Jonah.

After watching for a while, Gianna noted a few IDs leading the narrative and sent them to the PR manager for investigation.

Meanwhile, in the Clinton Group's president's office.

Sophia informed Felix about the MY FASHION incident, looking worried, "Reporters are hounding Gianna at MY FASHION. I hope she's okay."

Felix gave her a cold look, "Are you bored? Should I give you leave to check on her?"

Sophia quickly shook her head, "No, I think MY FASHION's security can protect her."

The two hadn't been in contact for over half a month, making life tough for the Clinton Group's employees. Now everyone approached the president's office with caution, and delivering documents fell to Sophia.

Felix handed her the signed documents, "Take these to the department manager."

"Okay."

After Sophia left, Felix put down his documents, opened his computer, and searched for news about MY FASHION.

After reading for a while, Felix's expression turned grim. He got up, walked out of the office, and told Sophia to prepare a car to go to MY FASHION.
