Chapter 111

The moment the words fell, Eugene and Gianna's expressions changed.

"Felix, what do you mean?"

Facing Gianna's questioning gaze, Felix didn't answer; he just turned and left. For some reason, Gianna felt a sense of unease.

"Mr. Walton, you can go back. I have something to do."

Without waiting for Eugene's response, Gianna turned and quickly followed Felix. When she reached the parking lot, she saw Felix standing by the car, clearly waiting for her. She walked up to him and said, "Felix, don't you think you should explain what you meant by saying we're not divorced?"

Before she could finish, her waist was held. Gianna's eyes flashed with anger, and as she was about to scold him, his handsome face suddenly enlarged in front of her. She tried to avoid him, but he kissed her. His lips came down on hers, aggressive, and Gianna felt his cold breath enveloping her. She bit him hard, but instead of letting her go, he became more aggressive.

Gianna pushed against his chest, struggling, but he didn't budge. Despite her strength being much greater than an average man's, she found herself powerless against Felix, letting him have his way. When she felt her breath becoming difficult, Felix let go, saying, "Are you trying to make me angry again by bringing another man here next time?"

Gianna's face turned pale with anger. 'I wasn't your possession, so who were you to speak to me like that?' she thought. She pushed Felix away and wiped her lips, saying coldly, "We're already divorced. I have no obligation to maintain a noble character or behavior for you. I can date or sleep with whomever I want, and you have no right to interfere!"

"How dare you!"

Gianna met his angry gaze, saying each word deliberately, "Why wouldn't I dare? Felix, you don't expect me to maintain a noble character and behavior for you, even after our divorce, do you?"

Seeing the mockery in her eyes, Felix felt his anger rising, almost reaching its breaking point. "Gianna, you can try. I'll make sure any man who touches you won't be a man for the rest of his life!"

"You're such a bastard!"

Felix looked at her, his eyes full of anger. "If I see you with Eugene again, I guarantee you'll receive news of Walton's team going bankrupt within three days!"

Gianna turned her eyes away, not wanting to look at him. After a long while, Gianna's emotions finally stabilized.

"Felix, what's the truth about what you said about not being divorced? You didn't make a fake divorce certificate to deceive me, did you?"

Felix looked at her, his face unchanged, and said, "Do you think I would lie about something like that? If you don't believe me, you can check with the court yourself!"

"Then why did you say that?"

"Because I don't want to see you pretending to be intimate with Eugene in front of me. It's annoying!"

Gianna frowned. "You don't have to look."

Felix sneered. "Gianna, it's not good for you to make me angry."

Gianna rolled her eyes. "Even if I make you happy, it doesn't seem to benefit me, so why should I make you happy?"

Felix was silent for a few seconds before saying, "I'll take you back."

"No need, I'll take a taxi myself."

She turned to leave, but her wrist was grabbed. Feeling the heat in his palm, Gianna couldn't help but frown. "Let go of me!"

"We can stay here all night, or I can take you back. It's your choice."

Anger flashed in Gianna's eyes as she gritted her teeth. "Felix, do you know that what I hate most about you is your arrogance and dominance? You always do things according to your ideas, regardless of whether others are willing or not! In your eyes, I'm not an independent person but more like a machine that unconditionally follows your orders. Once I refuse to listen, you use forceful means to make me obey. I've had enough!"

Felix looked at her coldly, his eyes devoid of any warmth. "If I didn't see you as an independent person, I wouldn't have agreed to divorce you in the first place!"

Gianna sneered, her expression mocking. "You agreed to the divorce so that you could openly be with Bella!"

"I really want to know what's in your head!"

'If he really liked Bella, would he keep coming back to her?' he thought. Gianna shook off his hand and said coldly, "It's definitely not you!"

With that, Gianna turned and walked away quickly.

"Gianna, stop!"

She ignored him, her pace quickening. Suddenly, a sound behind her. She turned to look and saw Felix lying on the ground, motionless.

Gianna stopped in her tracks and gritted her teeth. "Felix, don't think I'll believe your act of self-harm!"

She stood there for a while, but when she saw that Felix was still motionless, she couldn't help but turn back. Just as she reached Felix and crouched down, Gianna noticed that his face was abnormally red. She reached out and touched his forehead, which was burning up. Gianna frowned and picked up his previously injured hand to check the wound, and sure enough, it was infected!

Moving Felix to the car, Gianna called Sophia Mars, asked for Felix's current address, and told her to buy some medicine and bring it over. She also drove Felix's car back. Just as she arrived at Felix's villa, she saw Sophia Mars standing at the door with the medicine, her eyes filled with anxiety.

Gianna parked the car and helped Felix out of the car. Sophia Mars wanted to help her, but she refused.

"You go and open the door. Do you know the password for the villa?"

"This is a fingerprint lock."

"Okay, then step aside."

Watching Gianna move Felix alone, Sophia Mars remained silent. As a man, he was not as strong as a woman and didn't dare to speak. After unlocking the door with Felix's fingerprint, Gianna helped Felix into the bedroom and took the medicine from Sophia Mars.

"Go and get a glass of water. Let him take the medicine to appease his fever later."

After speaking, Gianna squatted down and started to rebandage Felix's wound. Seeing that the bandage on his hand was still the one she had wrapped for him, she couldn't help but frown. 'Hasn't he changed the bandage for the past few days? No wonder the wound got infected!' she thought.

Sophia Mars brought the water and saw Gianna changing Felix's bandage. He couldn't help but say, "I guess it's because Felix has been busy these days, so he forgot to change the bandage."

Gianna didn't say anything, but her eyes were cold. 'Couldn't he spare ten minutes to change the bandage?' she pondered.

Seeing that Gianna didn't speak, Sophia Mars continued. "By the way, Felix was supposed to have dinner with the big client Chelsea tonight, but he directly canceled the appointment to have dinner with you."

Gianna's hand paused for a moment, then she said coldly, "I didn't ask him to do that. If he's not available, he can completely refuse me. Sophia Mars, you don't need to speak for him in front of me. I already divorced him!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Felix woke up with a hint of hidden grievance in his eyes. Gianna looked away, finished bandaging the wound, and stood up. "Change the bandage once a day until the wound heals from tomorrow."
As she finished speaking and turned to leave, Felix grabbed her wrist.
