Gianna frowned, "Did Bella tell you?"
Lauren sneered, "It doesn't matter who told me. Since you can do such undignified things, are you afraid of what others say?!"
"Mrs. Lauren, I think I need to remind you that we have severed ties. Even if I lose my dignity, it's not your dignity."
"You!"
Lauren's face turned livid with anger. Even if she publicly severed ties with Gianna, whenever Gianna did something that was considered beneath her dignity, it was still the Redstone family that others whispered about behind their backs.
"I warn you to resign from that job immediately. If I find out you're still doing temporary work, I won't let you off!"
Gianna mockingly replied, "Suit yourself."
After hanging up, Gianna's indifferent response left Lauren extremely angry.
Lauren's face was full of anger, almost smashing her phone on the ground in frustration.
Bella hurriedly comforted her, "Mom, don't be angry. Gianna will understand your intentions in the future."
Lauren's expression was cold. "I don't need her understanding! Tomorrow I will personally go to your competition venue. If she still doesn't listen, she will regret it!"

Taking a deep breath, Lauren said slowly, "Belle, you don't need to worry about it anymore. Just prepare for the competition and have dinner."
On the other side, after putting down her phone and changing her clothes, Gianna went downstairs and left with Laura.
Laura and Julian had booked the same restaurant, and when they arrived, Mitchell was already there.
After exchanging greetings, Laura was about to order when Mitchell smiled and said, "Miss Hall, wait a moment. I have a friend coming. You don't mind, do you?"
Laura rolled her eyes silently underneath. 'You had already made plans with me, so what was the point of asking if I minded?' She thought.
Smiling on the surface, Laura said, "Of course. I don't mind."
Soon, Mitchell's friend arrived.
As Felix approached, Laura's expression changed.
'Mitchell must have done it on purpose!' She thought.
Knowing that Laura would bring Gianna along, Mitchell actually called Felix!
Thinking of this, Laura's expression turned cold.
"Mr. Lisa, what do you mean?"
Mitchell still had a smile on his face. "Miss Hall, are you not satisfied with my friend?"
Laura sneered, "You deliberately called Felix here knowing the awkward relationship between Gianna and Felix. What's your purpose?"
Just as Mitchell was about to speak, Felix's cold voice rang out.
"It seems Miss Hall isn't too welcoming of my presence. In that case, I won't disturb you all."
Laura remained silent with a cold expression, her eyes filled with anger.
Mitchell, on the side, also stood up and said, "I'll take my leave as well, Miss Hall. Consider this meal as your treat."
"Wait!"
Gianna pulled Laura's sleeve and whispered, "Laura, it's okay. No need to be so sensitive."
Laura turned to Gianna, furrowing her brows as she spoke, "Gianna, you don't have to sacrifice yourself for me."
Unable to hold back a smile, Gianna replied, "There's no sacrifice here. I don't mind who comes."
Seeing no signs of deception in Gianna's eyes, Laura finally relaxed. "Alright."
Gianna compromised voluntarily, and Mitchell chuckled, "Miss Redstone is indeed generous."
Laura glared at him and handed him the menu. "Mr. Lisa, please order."
During the meal, Laura and Mitchell were the main ones conversing, while Felix and Gianna remained silent, not even looking at each other, treating each other as if invisible.
Mitchell glanced at Felix from the corner of his eye, stifling a laugh internally.
He had just heard that Gianna would also be coming, immediately agreeing to come over. But now that she was here, he acted as if he didn't care, quite stubborn indeed.
After finishing the meal, Laura went to pay the bill with Mitchell accompanying her, while Gianna and Felix followed behind.
It was silent until they reached the door, where Felix finally spoke up.
"Don't take to heart what I said this afternoon. I won't judge you by my own standards anymore."
After careful consideration, Felix realized that even if Gianna never worked a day in her life, he could support her. Even if she hadn't graduated high school, no one would dare say anything in front of them.
Surprise flickered in Gianna's eyes, but she replied calmly, "Mr. Clinton, I haven't taken it to heart."
Before she could say more, an angry voice erupted nearby.
"Gianna, what are you doing here?!"
Gianna turned to see Lauren and Bella standing not far away, both looking surprised, though Lauren's expression held more anger.
The restaurant was filled with greenery, and as Gianna and Felix talked, they had reached a corner. With Gianna a few steps behind Felix, his figure was completely blocked by the plants, unnoticed by Lauren and Bella.
Gianna looked indifferent as she addressed them, "I don't think I need to explain to Mrs. Lauren."
Lauren's face turned red with anger, and Bella quickly supported her, saying to Gianna, "Gianna, don't provoke Mom with your words. I saw you working as a temporary worker at the design competition this morning, so you couldn't afford to dine here. Are you working as a waitress here?"
Upon hearing this, Lauren grew even angrier, warning, "I advise you to quit all these messy jobs immediately; or not only me, but the Redstone family won't let you off!"
Gianna gave Bella a cold look, thinking that Bella was truly going all out to belittle her.
Just as Gianna was about to speak, Felix suddenly walked up beside her, his voice cold as he said, "I'd like to see how the Redstone family plans to deal with my wife!"
Lauren and Bella were taken aback by Felix's presence, their faces turning pale in an instant.
Bella's face was full of grievances as she looked at Felix and said, "Felix, I just invited you to dinner. Didn't you say you had something to do?"
'Unexpectedly, you're actually with the despicable Gianna!' She thought.
"Do I need to report my whereabouts to you one by one?"
Felix's cold and indifferent attitude made Bella's face even paler.
Gianna looked surprised. 'Were Felix and Bella having a conflict?' She thought.
"Mr. Clinton, I hope you can correct something. I am no longer your wife, so please don't interfere in my affairs in the future." As soon as she finished speaking, both Bella and Lauren looked sharply at Gianna.
'Felix and Gianna were already divorced?! But if they were divorced, why was Felix still defending Gianna?!' They were confused.
Felix's face instantly turned as cold as ice. "Gianna, shut up!"
Gianna, with a calm expression, said slowly, "Mr. Clinton, I agree to keep our separation from Grandma; but there's no need to hide it in front of the Redstone family and the woman you like."
During these days, Felix was seen with Bella in various public places, and everyone assumed they were a couple, while Gianna was rumored to be Felix's mistress.
If this matter wasn't clarified soon, everyone would think Gianna is refusing to let go of Felix.
Felix remained silent with a cold expression, exuding an icy aura.
"I won't disturb you anymore."
Gianna said as she turned to leave, but Felix suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into an empty room next to them, slamming the door shut and pressing her against it.
"Gianna, are you in such a hurry to sever ties with me?!"
