Chapter 190: New Product Launch

Julian's expression twisted in anger. "Gianna, isn't this a bit much?"

Gianna's eyes were cold, "So are you trying to trick me? You won't even show me proof. How can I trust you'll give me half your shares later?"

Julian clenched his teeth but held back, knowing Gianna's relationship with Felix.

"Gianna, don't you trust me?" he asked.

Gianna looked at him coolly, "Julian, I'm here to set things straight. Stop wasting time on me. I won't benefit the Redstone family. You've chosen Bella, so focus on her, not me."

With that, Gianna stood up and left.

Just as she reached the door, Julian's angry voice echoed, "Gianna! Are you really so heartless that you don't care about us at all?!"

Gianna turned, her eyes calm, "Over twenty years ago, you left me at the orphanage, not caring if I lived or died. Seven years ago, I came back to the Redstone family, donated bone marrow to Bella, and had severe reactions. You left me in the hospital and threw a party for Bella. In the three years I was married to Felix, did you ever ask if I was fine?"

Julian was speechless.

Gianna said no more and quickly left the Redstone residence.

She knew she couldn't cut blood ties with the Redstone family, but she wouldn't let them control her either.

In her heart, she had completely cut ties with them.

A month passed by, and it was time for the MY FASHION new product launch.

Gianna and Emily were backstage, directing the staff. Emily looked nervous since most of the new products were her designs.

"Don't be nervous. Your designs are great. These clothes will do well."

Emily took a deep breath, looking at Gianna with respect. Gianna's tweaks to her sketches had been eye-opening, and she had become a fan of Gianna.

"Gianna, you're amazing. If you had entered the national design competition, you'd have won the first place!" Emily quipped.

Gianna smiled, "I'm not interested in that. Besides, if I had entered, your rank would drop by one."

"Losing to you, I'd be okay with that."

"Alright, stop flattering me. Go check if the models are ready. This is your first fashion show."

"Now you're making me nervous again."

After Emily left, Gianna checked the process with the director and then went to find Faith at the front.

After greeting the clients, they finally found a corner to sit and rest for ten minutes before the event started.

Faith massaged her sore ankles and sighed, "I haven't worn high heels in a while, and I'm not used to it anymore."

Gianna laughed, "You used to be a high-heel warrior. What changed?"

Faith replied irritably, "It's Dominic. He said high heels are bad for my health. He threw away all my heels while I was at work and bought a bunch of flats. We had a cold war for three days because of it!"

"And then you gave in?"

"I wore flats for two days and found them much more comfortable, so I reluctantly took his advice."

Seeing Faith's hidden smile, Gianna teased, "Looks like you're enjoying it."

"Just a little, not a lot."

Just as Gianna was about to speak, Emily's assistant came running over, panting, "Gianna, several models are stuck in traffic and won't be here for another half hour."

"What?! Which ones?!" Gianna stood up and quickly headed backstage.

The assistant trailed behind explaining, "It's the models for the finale outfits. Half an hour ago, Emily checked in, and they said they were almost here. But just before the show, they said they couldn't make it."

Anger flashed in Gianna's eyes, "Why didn't you say something earlier?!"

The assistant was near tears, "We didn't expect this."

Backstage, Emily was frantically making calls, her face full of panic. She even dialed the wrong number a few times.

Gianna approached Emily, held her trembling hand, and calmly asked, "How many are we short?"

"Eight...eight..."

Gianna noticed Emily's slight trembling and teary eyes. She softened her voice, "Don't worry. We have over half an hour before the finale. Get the other models on stage first. I'll handle the rest."

Gianna's calmness seemed to soothe Emily, who gradually calmed down.

"Gianna, I'm sorry. I didn't see this coming," Emily said.

"Now's not the time for apologies. Get the other models on stage."

"Okay..."

After Emily left, Gianna thought for a moment and made a phone call.

Meanwhile, Bella and Jasmine were sitting in a corner, both smiling.

Jasmine whispered, "Belle, the model issue is sorted. Just wait and watch Gianna embarrass herself!"

A gleam of pride flashed in Bella's eyes. "I won't just embarrass her. I want to ruin her completely!"

Soon, the MY FASHION new product launch began.

Emily watched as one model after another took the stage, her heart in turmoil. The lighting, music, and model timings had all been rehearsed. If Gianna didn't find models for the finale soon, the entire launch would be ruined.

Emily could only pray that Gianna would find models in time.

But it seemed her prayers went unheard. By the time all the other models had finished, the models Gianna contacted still hadn't arrived.

The audience waited patiently at first, but murmurs began to spread.

"What's going on? Weren't there supposed to be eight finale outfits? Why haven't they come out yet?"

"Something must have gone wrong. Making such a mistake at such an important event, it seems MY FASHION doesn't want to succeed!"

"Today's biggest joke: MY FASHION's new product launch with no models for the finale!"

Listening to the audience's mockery, Bella and Jasmine both had smug smiles.

They both despised Gianna, so seeing her in trouble made them happy.

Jasmine covered her mouth, laughing, "This is hilarious. Gianna will definitely become a laughingstock in the design world!"

Bella smirked, "Jasmine, it's all thanks to you."

"Remember to tell me about things like this in the future. I love seeing Gianna make a fool of herself."

Growing impatient, some audience members were already getting up to leave.

As the two were basking in their triumph, the host walked up from backstage and said, "Everyone, please be patient. We are about to showcase the finale dresses of this launch. After all, the best is always worth the wait!"

Hearing this, the murmurs in the audience quieted down, and those who were about to leave sat back down, waiting for the models to take the stage.

Jasmine frowned and gritted her teeth, "What's going on? Those models didn't show up. Where could they have found new models on such short notice?!"

Bella's face also turned a bit sour, "Don't worry. I want to see what tricks Gianna has up her sleeve!"

Soon, the lights dimmed, and a model in a light green chiffon gown slowly walked out from backstage.

Seeing the model's face clearly, both Bella and Jasmine were stunned.
