Chapter 247
"What? How does she know?"
Ivy bit her lip and said coldly, "I don't know, but she threatened me. If I don't drop the lawsuit, she'll expose our affair!"
The Astor senior was stunned for a moment, then angrily said, "She's nothing! Does she still think she's the wife of the Clinton Group's president? The Astor family can crush her like an ant. Leave it to me!"
Ivy, still worried, said in a deep voice, "I'm afraid she'll expose us if she gets mad."
If their affair got out, both she and the Astor senior would be ruined, and the Foster and Astor families would lose reputation in Dawnridge.
"Don't worry. She will disappear without a trace."
"Alright, I'll wait for your news."
After hanging up, Ivy felt a bit relieved.
As long as Gianna was dead, no one could threaten her again. But to be safe, Ivy decided to drop the lawsuit first.
Once Gianna was done, she could refile the lawsuit against Felix. She was the victim, and the ball was in her court.
Before leaving work in the evening, Otis knocked and entered Gianna's office.
Otis said, "Gianna, a client wants to meet you tonight."
Gianna frowned, "Why?"
She had planned to have dinner with Felix to celebrate because Ivy had dropped the lawsuit.
"The client said several clothing companies have given him new quotes, all lower than MY FASHION's, but he wants to talk to you before deciding whether to end the cooperation."
Gianna paused for a second, stood up, and said, "Alright, tell me where and when on email."
"Okay."
After Otis left, Gianna called Felix to cancel their dinner plans.
Soon, Otis sent the address to her email. Gianna checked it and left the office.
When she arrived, it wasn't the client waiting for her but the Astor senior and a dozen bodyguards.
The Astor senior had a cold smile and an intimidating gaze.
He chuckled, "Gianna, we meet again."
Even if she were foolish, Gianna knew she had been tricked.
A cold glint flashed in her eyes as she sat down opposite the Astor senior.
Gianna asked, "Do you want the photos of you and Ivy?"
The Astor senior's smile grew colder, "Gianna, you're a clever one. Hand over the evidence, and I'll let you go."
Gianna chuckled lightly, "If I give you the photos now, you'll have your men kill me immediately, right?"
The Astor senior wasn't angry for being guessed. His smile deepened.
"Gianna, the Astor family always follows the law. We would never do anything illegal." The Astor senior said.
Gianna's gaze was cold as she said, "Ivy is the one making the deal with me. If you want these photos, let Ivy come here."
The Astor narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "Gianna, I won't let you meet Ivy again. You'd better agreed quickly and don't force me to do it!"
Gianna's expression remained indifferent as she stood up to leave.
Before she reached the door, four bodyguards blocked her path.
"I gave you a chance, but you didn't take it. Get her!" He sneered.
As soon as he said thar, the four bodyguards lunged at Gianna.
The Astor senior sneered, already imagining Gianna begging for mercy.
But the next second, his eyes widened in shock, and his hand pointed at Gianna involuntarily.
"How is this possible?" He shocked.
Seeing Gianna effortlessly took down his four subordinates, the Astor senior was fully shocked and beyond belief.
He squinted his eyes and gritted his teeth, "All of you, get her! Bring her to me, dead or alive!"
The other bodyguards swarmed, surrounding Gianna in an instant.
The Astor senior sneered, "Gianna, even if you can fight, you can't..."
Before he could finish, a bodyguard was thrown heavily in front of him, scaring him pale. His lips was trembling, and he couldn't utter a single word.
In less than five minutes, all the bodyguards were on the floor, groaning in pain.
The Astor senior panicked. Gianna approached, and he backed away in fear, "Don't come any closer!"
Gianna sneered, "Weren't you just acting tough, threatening to kill me?"
She knew he wanted to kill her.
If it had been someone else, they might already be dead.
"No, you've got it all wrong, Gianna. I know I was wrong. Please, don't hit me..."
When Felix burst through the door with his men, he saw the bodyguards sprawled on the floor and Gianna beating the Astor senior.
Seeing Felix, the Astor senior, already battered and bruised, looked as if he had seen a savior. He quickly ran towards Felix, taking advantage of Gianna's momentary distraction.
"Felix, no, Mr. Clinton, please save me. Gianna is beating me to death."
Felix's cold gaze swept over him, and he said coldly, "It seems the Astor family doesn't want to stay in Dawnridge anymore. Daring to scheme against my wife, I'll make you regret it!"
As the Astor senior felt the pressure from Felix, hiss legs went weak, but then he remembered that Felix was no longer the president of the Clinton Group, and a glimmer of hope rose in his heart.
"Felix, the Astor family is now closely cooperating with the Clinton Group. If you do anything to the Astor family, Thomas won't let you off!"
There was a hint of disdain in his eyes, and he regretted asking Felix for help earlier. Mentioning Thomas would surely make Felix angry.
Felix sneered and said slowly, "The Astor senior, are you threatening me?"
"Felix, you should know better. You're just a..."
Before he could finish, he was suddenly kicked far away.
The Astor senior's body flew like a kite with a broken string, crashing into the wall with a loud bang and then falling to the ground. He spat out a mouthful of blood and fainted.
Gianna frowned, hearing the sound, she guessed that the Astor senior's ribs were probably broken.
When she had been hitting the Astor senior earlier, she had avoided the vital areas, intending only to teach him a lesson. She hadn't expected Felix to be so ruthless.
As she was pondering how to handle the situation, Felix had already walked up to her.
"Gianna, are you alright?"
Gianna nodded and met his concerned eyes, "I'm fine. You hit the Astor senior. The Astor family won't let this go easily. What if they sue you?"
Felix's expression was cold, and a sneer appeared on his lips.
"They're too busy dealing with their own problems," Felix said.
"Then what about the Astor senior?" Gianna asked.
Felix held her hand and said softly, "I'll handle it."
Since he dared to kill Gianna, Felix naturally wouldn't let he go.
Gianna was silent for a few seconds, then looked at Felix and said, "Maybe I should handle it. If people find out you hit the Astor senior, Thomas will definitely use this opportunity to tarnish your image."
"No need. I can handle it. I won't give him another chance," Felix said coldly.
Seeing his calm demeanor, Gianna nodded, "Alright."
"I'll have someone take you home first. I still have some things to do."
After Gianna left, a subordinate approached Felix, "Sir, what should we do with the Astor senior now?"
"Send him to the hospital, notify Ivy and the Astor family, and arrange for some reporters," Felix said.
The subordinate immediately understood and nodded, "Don't worry, Felix. I'll take care of it!"
Half an hour later, Ivy rushed into Dawnridge Summit Medical Hospital.
Ten minutes later, the Astor family also hurried to the hospital.
As soon as they reached the Astor senior's hospital room, Angelina saw through the glass door that Ivy was leaning on the Astor senior, a look of shock flashing in her eyes.
She pushed the door open forcefully and shouted, "What are you doing?!"
