Chapter 314
"Where's Dominic? I need to talk to him, like, right now!" Faith demanded.
The lady on the other end let out a soft chuckle and replied, all chill, "Miss Walton, that's a no-go. Mr. Trump is already catching some Z's."
And with that, she hung up.
Faith, fuming, shoved her phone away and helped Gianna up. She called a driver to get them to Dominic's crib.
When they rolled up to the villa, Faith helped the wobbly Gianna to the door and punched in the code.
She plopped Gianna on the couch and bolted upstairs.
Just as she got to Dominic's bedroom, she peeked through the slightly open door and saw Fiona Lee leaning in for a kiss on Dominic.
Faith's jaw dropped. She barged in, yelling, "What the hell are you doing?"
Fiona, caught off guard, jumped back and looked at Faith with wide eyes.
"Miss Walton, what are you doing here?" Fiona stammered.
Faith sneered. "If I hadn't shown up, you'd be all over Dominic by now, wouldn't you?"
Fiona's eyes flickered with guilt. She had planned to take advantage of Dominic being wasted, but Faith's sudden appearance threw a wrench in her plans.
"Miss Walton, you've got it all wrong. I was just looking after Mr. Trump," Fiona tried to explain.
"Looking after him in bed? How sweet of you. Should I swing by the Trump Group tomorrow and let everyone know how you 'took care' of Dominic? Bet they'd love to hear that," Faith shot back.
Fiona's face went pale under Faith's intense glare. She quickly grabbed her bag and muttered, "Miss Walton, since you're here, I'll take off."
As she passed Faith, Faith coldly added, "Ms. Lee, you're still young. If you wanna use your body to climb the ladder, find another place. I'll fill Dominic in on your little stunt tomorrow."
Fiona bit her lip, embarrassed, and scurried out without another word.
Faith walked into the room, wrinkling her nose at the lingering scent of Fiona's perfume. She went to the window and threw it open.
The cold breeze hit her, clearing her head a bit. She looked down at Dominic, who was out cold but still had a frown on his face.
Seeing the lipstick mark on his collar, Faith scoffed and yanked his shirt off.
'This Fiona chick, no way Dominic's keeping her around,' Faith thought.
After hanging out in Dominic's room for a bit, Faith headed back downstairs.
Gianna was sprawled on the couch, totally out of it, but Faith felt wide awake.
She grabbed a blanket from the guest room and covered Gianna, then crashed in a random room.
The next morning, Gianna slowly woke up, her head pounding.
She sat up, rubbing her temples.
Looking around, she realized she was in an unfamiliar place, and panic set in.
She quickly checked her clothes—still on. Phew.
'But where the heck am I?' she wondered.
She grabbed her bag, pulled out her phone, and was about to call Faith when a surprised voice came from upstairs. "Who are you? Why are you in my house?"
Gianna turned and saw Dominic in a bathrobe, looking confused. She was stunned. 'Is this Dominic's place?'
Gianna quickly explained, "Mr. Trump, I was out drinking with Faith last night. We got hammered, and I guess Faith gave the driver the wrong address, so here we are..."
Dominic got it right away. He and Faith sometimes hung out here, and he had given her the password. They probably ended up here because it was close by.
"Where's Faith?" Dominic asked.
Gianna shook her head. "I was just about to call her."
Right then, Faith's voice came from behind Dominic. "Dominic, why are you just standing there on the stairs?"
Dominic turned around and saw Faith coming out of the guest room. He frowned and asked, "Why'd you crash in the guest room last night?"
Whenever Faith came over before, they always shared the master bedroom.
'Seriously? I haven't even confronted him yet, and he's questioning me?' Faith thought.
"Forget about where I slept. Last night, I walked in on Fiona kissing you. If I hadn't shown up, who knows what she would've done. You could've been in deep trouble!"
Dominic's eyes widened in surprise, then he frowned. "I'll have HR fire her later."
Faith raised an eyebrow. "That's more like it. By the way, why'd you suddenly go out for a social event last night?"
Dominic explained, "Mr. Drake from Thundertop came to Dawnridge to check out a project. The Trump Group has always wanted to team up with the Drake family, so I went to meet him last night."
Dominic's voice wasn't too loud or too soft, but Gianna, who was downstairs, heard it and was shocked. 'Samuel came to Dawnridge?'
Faith didn't press further and went downstairs with Dominic.
Seeing that Gianna was already awake, she apologized, "Gianna, sorry about last night. I was too wiped to carry you upstairs, so I let you crash on the sofa."
Gianna shook her head. "I should be thanking you. If you hadn't brought me back, who knows what would've happened."
Dominic frowned at her words. "It's too risky for you two to hit the bars alone. Next time you go drinking, let me know so I can arrange for someone to pick you up."
The last part was clearly aimed at Faith.
Seeing the annoyance in Dominic's eyes, Faith snorted. "I called you yesterday, but Fiona answered. She said you were drunk and she was taking care of you, so you couldn't pick me up. If I had come a bit later, she might've taken care of you in bed!"
Dominic sighed and immediately pulled out his phone to call HR. "Fire Fiona. I don't want to see her when I get to the office."
After hanging up, Dominic turned to Faith. "Faith, happy now?"
Faith squinted and smiled. "Yeah. Just be more careful next time. If you had male secretaries like Felix, would I need to worry?"
Realizing she had misspoken, Faith quickly glanced at Gianna, but Gianna was lost in thought.
Dominic chuckled and didn't push the topic. "You take Miss Redstone to freshen up. I'll go upstairs and change."
As Dominic was about to leave, Gianna suddenly spoke up, "Mr. Trump, I wanted to ask, was the member of the Drake family you met yesterday Samuel Drake?"
