Chapter 78
Upon arriving at the Villa, as Gianna was about to escort Felix to his bedroom, the doorbell rang.
When Gianna opened the door and saw Ximena., Ximena without a word slapped her across the face.
Gianna was caught off guard and didn't expect her to suddenly hit her. A palm print immediately appeared on her face.
Ximena still wanted to continue hitting her, but Gianna stepped back to avoid it, her expression ice-cold as she said, "Msr. Mellon, please restrain yourself!"
Ximena sneered, her gaze fierce as she looked at Gianna.
"Restrain myself? Gianna, you caused Felix to become half-paralyzed! Giving you just two slaps is already showing mercy!"
She was originally abroad, but yesterday she received a call from Bella, who stuttered to tell her that Felix had been in a car accident and was now half-paralyzed.
Knowing it was because of the divorce with Gianna, Ximena was so furious that she nearly fainted and immediately booked the earliest flight back to the country.
If she had known Gianna would do this to Felix, she would never have let her into their lives!
Just as Gianna was about to speak, Felix's cold voice came from behind her.
"Mom, coming to my house to hit my wife, aren't you going too far?!"
"You've become like this and you still want to speak up for Gianna?!" Felix frowned, "The car accident had nothing to do with her."
Ximena sneered, "If it wasn't for you going to file for a divorce, would you have had a car accident then?!"
"No one can predict such things."
"Enough, you don't have to say anything. I don't want to hear it. I'll pack your things and from today you'll move back home with me."
Felix's expression turned cold, "I'm not going back."
"Regardless, I won't let you continue to be with this woman!"
"The woman you're referring to is my wife, she has a name. Even if you don't like her, I hope you can respect her!"
Ximena couldn't believe her eyes, she didn't expect that after going abroad and returning, Felix's attitude towardstoward Gianna would change so much.
"Felix, this woman will only bring you harm. Come back with me now, I'll take care of the divorce for you."
Felix gave Ximena a cold look full of anger, "This is between her and me, I hope you don't interfere."
Ximena's face turned pale with anger, raising her voice, "Felix, are you trying to kill me with anger?! Do you know that when I heard about your partial paralysis, I was so scared that I almost had a heart attack? And now, for the person who caused your car accident, you're getting mad at me?!"
Felix's eyes grew a bit colder, "How did you find out about my car accident?"
He had explicitly instructed laid out instructions not to inform Ximena and Connor about his car accident. Even if they knew, they should only find out when Natalie returned to the country for her birthday.
Ximena's eyes flickered with guilt, she looked away and dared not meet Felix's gaze.
After all, Felix's personality sometimes frightened her.
"It doesn't matter how I found out. In any case, I won't let you continue to be with Gianna!"
Felix was Ximena's everything, if something were to happen to him, she would not be able to go on.
"I'm not going back. Later, I'll have Fabian take you back to the ancestral home."

Gianna didn't want to face Ximena alone either. She had suffered from the slap earlier because Felix's car accident was indeed related to her.
But if Ximena tried to lay hands on her again, she wouldn't endure it!
She walked up to Felix, about to push the wheelchair, but was pushed away by Ximena.
"Get lost, don't even think about getting close to Felix!"
Gianna was not angry and smiled, saying, "Okay, I have to go to work tomorrow and take care of Mr. Clinton's affairs. I'll leave it to you."
After saying that, she turned and left.
As Gianna's figure disappeared into the living room, Ximena was about to push Felix's wheelchair when he pressed the wheelchair button and turned to face Ximena.

"Mom, I told you clearly, I will not divorce Gianna. Don't hold any expectations."
Ximena clenched her teeth and said impatiently, "What's so good about Gianna? You were forced to marry her in the first place! Now that Bella is back, you should break things off with Gianna as soon as possible and marry Bella!"
In Ximena's eyes, Bella had grown up before her eyes and was the most suitable daughter-in-law.
As for Gianna, a country bumpkin, being able to be with Felix for three years was already her greatest luck!
"I will not marry Bella. If you really like her, you can consider her as your daughter. Don't tie me to her."
Ximena looked at him in disbelief and said, "Weren't you fond of Bella before? Don't tell me you've fallen in love with Gianna now!"
Felix frowned and said, "What does that have to do with whether I love her or not?"
"If you don't love her, then why won't you divorce her?! She has a bad relationship with the Redstone family. If you marry Bella, it's like having the support of the Redstone family. If you stay with Gianna, you won't get anything!"
A hint of coldness flashed in Felix's eyes. "I don't need a woman to help me stabilize my career."
Seeing that Felix wasn't listening to anything she said, Ximena was furious and felt pain in her chest.
"Are you refusing to divorce no matter what I say?!"
"Yes!"
"Fine, then I will go talk to Gianna!"
"If you go and pressure her, I will never see you again."
Ximena's eyes turned red with anger, but she was mostly heartbroken.
"Just for a woman, you say such things to threaten me?!"
Felix remained indifferent and said, "She is not an ordinary woman, she is my wife. And I am not threatening you, just informing you."
"Fine! Felix, you will regret this one day!"
Ximena stormed off, furious.
Their conversation was not quiet, and Gianna in the guest room could faintly hear some of it.
It wasn't until she heard the sound of the door closing outside and the living room quieting down that it seemed Ximena had left.
Gianna got up, ready to freshen up and go to sleep, when someone knocked on the door was knocked.
She opened the door and saw Felix's cold face in front of her.
"Gianna, did you forget that you promised to give me a bath earlier?"
Gianna remained silent.
Earlier, she didn't want to face Ximena, but now that everyone had left, it was impossible for Ximena to come near Felix and tease him.
"Mr. Clinton, if I remember correctly, you could have bathed yourself. I'm tired today and I plan to sleep now."
She turned around to leave, but Felix suddenly grabbed her wrist.
The next second, Felix pulled Gianna into his arms.
She sat on his lap, their faces only a few centimeters apart, close enough to see the tiny hairs on each other's faces.
Gianna's heart unconsciously began to race.
When she finally reacted, she couldn't help but grit her teeth and say, "Let go of me!"
She tried to break free from Felix's grasp, but it only brought them closer.
As their breaths intertwined, Felix suddenly let out a muffled groan, and Gianna felt something pressing against her buttocks.
Realizing what it was, Gianna's face immediately turned red. "Shameless!"
Felix held onto her waist with one hand, forcing her to move closer to him.
"If you keep rubbing against me like this and I don't react, would I not be impotent?"
"Let go of me!"
"Do you want to help me bathe?"
"I don't want to!"
"Then I won't let go!"
Gianna's face flushed with anger and embarrassment.
"Felix, you're just shameless!"
"Thank you for the compliment."
The two of them held their ground for a while, but eventually, Gianna gave in.
After helping Felix wipe his body, she returned to her room, finished washing up, and lay down in bed. It took a long time for her mood to calm down.
It seems that in the future, she would have to have a nurse live at their house. Otherwise, Felix would always find excuses to make her do things she didn't want to do!
The next morning, shortly after starting work, Faith hurriedly came to find Gianna.
"Gianna, I want to take a three-day leave!"
Seeing the urgency on her face, Gianna was surprised. "Why do you need such a long leave? Is it because of Uriah still bothering you?"
