Chapter 140

When the phone was about to hang up, the call was finally connected.

"Felix, can you help me?"

Bella's voice was tearful, but Felix remained indifferent. "How do you want me to help you?"

"You must have checked the audio Gianna posted online. Now, everyone is cursing me, and some are threatening to kill me. I'm so scared!"

In the past, Felix would have worried and felt sorry for her.

But as soon as Felix thought of Gianna lying unconscious in the hospital bed, a chill ran through him.

"You have the Redstone family's protection. Who can harm you?"

Bella bit her lip, tears streaming down. "Felix, are you planning to abandon me?"

-

"Bella Redstone." Felix's voice was devoid of warmth. "Three years ago, you left me to go abroad. To me, that was the end of us."

"No, I never thought of marrying anyone other than you."

"But in my eyes, we ended three years ago."

Bella laughed bitterly through her tears. "So, you fell in love with my sister Gianna, right?"

"Yes."

Felix's answer was resolute, finally shattering the last hope in Bella's heart.

Bella could no longer deceive herself, thinking that Felix was kind to Gianna out of spite toward her.

Bella closed her eyes, and when she opened them, they were icy cold.

"Fine, I understand. I won't bother you anymore, but you still owe me LR Design Studio and the two conditions you promised me."

Before she could finish, Felix coldly interrupted her.

"LR Design Studio will be transferred to your name tomorrow. If you need any help before you can manage it on your own, contact Sophia Mars directly. As for those two conditions, let me know whenever you're ready."

A glimmer of surprise flashed in Bella's eyes. She knew Felix wouldn't be so heartless toward her.

"However, I have a condition too."

"What is it?"

"Do not mess with Gianna Redstone again in the future. Otherwise, I can take back what I have given you at any time!"

Felix's tone carried a hint of threat, and Bella understood that he was serious.

Bella was filled with jealousy and resentment, but she couldn't show a hint of it at this moment.

"I see."

As soon as she finished speaking, the call was abruptly cut off.

Bella put down her phone and forced back her tears, knowing that her tears would no longer earn her sympathy from Felix.

Beside her, Lauren hurriedly asked, "Bella, what did Felix Clinton say?"

"He agreed."

Upon hearing this, Lauren finally breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good. I knew Felix still cared about you."

Bella coldly interrupted her, "Mom, don't mention him again."

"Why? Didn't he help you?"

"This is the last time. He won't care about me anymore."

"What?" Lauren was puzzled, but Bella had already stood up and walked straight back to her bedroom.

Back in her room, Bella sat in front of the dressing table for a long time.

Once arrogant, Bella had thought that Felix's affection was for her. But reality had dealt her a harsh blow.

Bella would remember the hurt and pain she felt today, and one day, she would make Gianna pay for it tenfold!

Gianna had been lying in Oakwood Estate for a few days until the bruises on her waist faded, and Felix finally agreed to let her leave.

Returning to Elm Bay, Gianna saw the front of the Villa clean as usual, with no more rotten leaves, stinking eggs, or paint splatters.

Gianna saw from the surveillance footage that the Villa's property management had sent someone to clean up. She sighed, appreciating that the money she had paid was worth it.

However, Gianna didn't let those who had come to litter off the hook.

Gianna exposed the personal information and despicable deeds of those people online, and they must have encountered the consequences of their actions by now.

Back home, Gianna felt much more relaxed.

After tidying up the house and having lunch, she went straight to MY FASHION.

Seeing Gianna, Faith glanced her over and nodded. "It seems like Felix Clinton has been treating you well these days, no signs of abuse."

Faith knew about the bomb in Gianna's Villa, and when Gianna almost lost her life, Faith was shocked. She had planned to find Gianna, but knowing that Gianna was safe in Felix's house, she abandoned the idea.

After all, Felix was a powerful figure in Dawnridge, and Gianna was safe by his side.

"Oh, I have something to report to you."

Gianna nodded. "Alright, let's go to my office."

Once they were seated, Faith hesitated, looking like she had something on her mind.

"Gianna, why don't you tell Felix Clinton that you are the founder of MY FASHION and the current CEO?"

Gianna was surprised, then frowned. "Why?"

"LR Design Studio has snatched several collaborations from MY FASHION recently. If this continues, MY FASHION may be pushed to the brink!"

Gianna fell silent for a few seconds before saying, "If collaborations are being snatched, it only proves that MY FASHION is not competent or strong enough. We should look for reasons within ourselves, not try to gain benefits through personal relationships."

Moreover, Felix was a businessman, and they currently had no relationship. How could Felix harm his own company's interests to help MY FASHION?

Faith sighed and lowered her head. "I see."

"Alright, if there's nothing else, get back to work."

"One more thing, tonight Felix has arranged a dinner with a client, who is the company's largest distributor. If we lose them, MY FASHION's market share will decrease significantly."

Gianna lowered her gaze, expressionless. "Tell me the time and place."

"7 p.m., Willow Creek Eatery."

"Alright, I got it. Reserve a spot for us in the private room next to them."

"Okay."

After Faith left, Hayden soon arrived with a document for Gianna to sign.

"Gianna, this is the next quarter's fabric supplier and prices. Please take a look."

Gianna took the document, glanced at it, circled a few companies, and said calmly, "These companies will no longer be collaborating starting next quarter."

Hayden's face turned sour as he saw the companies she had marked.

The companies Gianna circled were ones that Hayden had private dealings with, companies from which he accepted bribes.

Hayden had been discreet, thinking Gianna wouldn't find out.

"Gianna, these companies have been collaborating for several years, and the quality of the fabrics meets our requirements. Why cancel the collaboration?"

Gianna glanced at him with a faint smile.

"Mr. Walton, the prices of these companies' fabrics are significantly higher than other companies of similar quality. Have you not conducted market research in recent years?"

Hayden was ready with a reply and looked at Gianna seriously.

"I have indeed conducted research, but as you should know, many fabric factories intentionally withhold fabric after production to raise prices, leading to unnecessary losses. Although the prices of these fabrics are a bit higher, they always deliver on time, so a reasonable premium is acceptable.

Hayden's explanation sounded convincing. If Gianna hadn't done market research, she might have been fooled by him.

"Mr. Walton, I have found companies that can deliver on time and offer cheaper fabric prices. I won't consider these companies anymore. Go back and redo the document."

Hayden's eyes flashed with anger, but he maintained a smile on his face.

"Alright, I'll follow your lead."

Leaving Gianna's office, Hayden narrowed his eyes.

Since Gianna wouldn't listen to advice, Hayden would have to teach her a lesson to show her that being the CEO of MY FASHION was challenging.

Time passed quickly, and before they knew it, it was evening. Faith and Gianna drove straight to Willow Creek Eatery.

"Gianna, what's your plan?"
